Thank you for another excellent video, Chris! One of my favorite pens is the Tombow Mono Multi Pen - combining a pencil and two colored ballpoint pens in a single unit.
Awesome Video!!! I’m definitely interested in the Moment sling.. I’ve been notified I’m going back into the office and this would be great as an EDC for my essentials, i like the idea of keeping it in the backpack to use & limit what’s in your pockets when you don’t need everything. Looking forward to more videos of yours like this! Thanks, Edward
Happy to hear! Sounds like you’d get a lot of use out of the sling as well.
Another lovely video, Chris! Thanks for sharing with us! Cheers from Brazil, mate!
Thanks for watching & commenting Eduardo! Cheers
The quality of these videos are amazing
Great video as always. Been using the planner since they came out and it is my favorite. Also, I picked up a T7 after watching a previous video - great recommendation!
Great choice going with the T7! Thanks Ron 🤝🏼
I've been using the full focus planner for a few years now, it's so great! Solid video man.
Thanks man! Anything in specific you like/dislike about the planner?
Great vid! been a fan since your video on top useful Mac book apps. I can see myself using the sling bag for the gym
Thanks and welcome back! Are there any apps you get a lot of use out of and recommend? I'll be uploading a video with an updated list of the top 10 mac apps for 2024, and am open to all recommendations 🤝
Keep posting ! Videos are really good
Great video, I also have the T7 shield, Its great! That sling bag is awesome too, but someone else definitely needs it more than I do! One of my best tech purchases were the Sony WH1000 XM4 headphones, they are the greatest. I have been using them almost every single day for 3 years, and they still give me around a week of battery!
Thanks, and nice! Totally agree, the XM4's are still incredible. They were my go-to headphones for travel until I gave them to my gf 🙌🏼
@snaranjo i’ll use the bag to carry T2 transition equipment and posible try to store the gels for the run. Great video, as well! Didn’t feel long at all
Great vid good sir - would def like to see the personal edc. Always lookin for good wallet recs!
You got it. Current wallet is the Pilot from Andar and it has been great thus far 🤝🏼
Awesome creator, looking forward to more!
Thanks! More to come 🤝
Cool video man liked the video very much , i would love to get moment sling as i am a student and currently pursueing my cs degree the sling would be a great relief for my pockets hope so that i get it anyways a great video loved it very much
why is this vid so satisfying omg
Love to read comments like this one 🙌🏼
good video, good gear. a bit out my personal budget but definitely look worth the investments for long term use
@nursecaloy here, I am an international student here in Canada. I'm working most of the time and I'm using a backpack. I usually put a small inside my bag like you so I can easily shift from my school bag to a working bag. More subscribers to you and god bless
The short usb-c cable with ssd sleeve is brilliant
If only there was an even shorter option out there without as much excess cable 🧐
Hey Chris, I already like the style you showcase your videos, and since you post your first video of sigmaOS, I have been waiting for videos of useful MacBook apps or tricks. And... Im hoping to see more videos from you,
Hey, thanks and welcome back 🙌🏼 I'm working on a series of videos/shorts that showcase the best Mac apps & tips for 2024. I'm all ears when it comes to recommendations too, so let me know if there are any apps & tips you recommend 🤝
Love that you’re a Hyatt fan. Don’t have an Instagram, but great video, Chris.
Really like it ❤
My guy literally flexing his rs6, gf and benchpress in one video without making it akward 😂
It’s a pretty average bench. It looks like 225. My older brother can do that. And his friend which are 18.
@@Stephen_Bassett doenst matter how much it was. The point is that the video is called "my everday carry tech-bag" and who expects a benchpress in this kind of video.
Bro its a rs5
And skydiving 🪂
@@Stephen_BassettWhat’s your point?
Finally, someone who gets how awesome the OG nomatic is. Best tech bag ever.
A small first aid kit is really handy. Add some antibacterial wipes and some sugar cubes for low blood sugar are so handy.
Solid reccs! I carry a CAT in the bag for severe emergencies and LMNT packets for electrolytes, but adding a small first aid kit and wipes is smart.
@robcor80 will probably use the sling for my 5k runs, usually get a bite and beer after and need to carry wallet phone etc, with me so I don't have to walk back to my car. Great video Chris, love seeing the doggies.
Sounds like a great use for it! Great seeing you in the comments again, Rob 🤝
@dmasneri22 I will use the minibag in an everyday University setting.
@sureshsun88 awesome vids man keep it up. I'd definitely be using that sling when travelling to NZ when doing activities where a backpack would be too much but I still want to have a GoPro and power bank / charging cable still on me!
insightful
🙌🏼
I plan to buy Nomatic backpack as well!
Nice! Which bag are you going with?
@@Christomshack Chris, i think I will go with 14 liter travel pack. As long as I’am a lawyer not a developer, I don’t need a big one 👍.
What was the suitcase you were using? (when you were showing the pass thru). Curious, would you say a carry on suitcase plus the travel pack is enough for long term work/travel?
Pen recommendation: The Pentel Energel! The teal color is my jam.
Ordering one to test out - thanks for the recc!
pen recommendation Refyne - two different sizes and both feel great to write with.
Appreciate the recc! The EP1 looks 🔥
Pen recommendation - any from Baron Fig. High quality, easy to hold, it writes beautifully.
Thanks for the recc! I've used several of their journals/planners from James Clear and never noticed they offered pens. Will be checking them out 🤝
So delighted to see a KZhead tech reviewer at the same time awesome to watch because he’s so handsome 😅
I love your videos
Look into polarizing film. It'll make any non polarizered screen become usuable with a polarized sunglass, etc.
Prashantalamichhane I will use this for Everyday carry !!!
I like the bag a lot, I currently use the North face Router backpack, its 40L. That one seems like it might be a better option. Great Video overall though, thank you
It's the best I've found for organization and functionality! North face makes some great bags too
Is that a garmin watch? Which kind? It was like the first thing I saw! I have a garmin epix gen 2 sapphire (white with the green button)
Great video my man! I love backpack loadouts and always looking for efficiencies and better carries, so good work sir! I would use the 2L bag just as you do! I am an overpacker and would love to have that handy pack as a back up to quickly de-load and just carry the essentials! Keep it up brotha
Cheers man Which backpack are you using now? Any edc essentials on your list? I’m all ears when it comes to edc reccs 🙌🏼
Wow, the photos by RICOH RG3 are stunning, and the camera seems to be pretty portable.
I've been blown away by the image quality SOOC and leave my larger setups at home. It can fit into a front pant pocket too. Cheers
@@Christomshack Wow, it’s calling my name,🤣thx for recommendation. Cheers
Really like ur backpack although it's too pricey for me. I can't believe how rare backpacks with a curved zipper like that are around me. That design clearly makes taking a laptop or anything from the main compartment much easier and more comfortable in comparison with the traditional straight-zipped locks.
That sling would make a difference in my everyday work would help a lot
🙌🏼
Dude love the jacket you are wearing at 8:45. Which jacket is it?
Interested to hear more about your everyday EDC
Will that version of the kindle turn books into an audiobook when I would prefer to listen instead of read?
Hi Chris. What is the name of your carryon luggage?
🔥 🔥 🔥
🙌🏼
Your videos are 🔥🔥🔥… so is my credit card 😂😂😂
What size is your bag? 20L?
Need a comparison between Garmin watch and apple watch. How's whoop band?
@jcastro115 Great video! I would like to use the sling bag to carry around my dry eye treatment gear around. As a fellow software engineer, our eyes are one of our most important tools. Suffering from dry eyes is rough and having a lightweight bag to carry that equipment around would be awesome!
Cool video, backpack and accessories, just a little surprising to see that in your country it’s common using physical wallets yet 😅.
I typically always use apple pay, but still carry a small wallet with cash and 2-3 credit cards for emergencies. Most friends and others I know do the same. Do you not carry wallets in your country?
@@Christomshack Thanks for the answer, I’m from Brazil, at least in my city (Sao Paulo) it is not very common anymore with young people, older people usually prefer cards or cash, it’s not like china that everyone uses phones only but it started to become the standard here.
what camera u are using to filming?
Have you considered PacSafe bags? I would never carry a bag that doesn’t have a locking/anti-slashing system.
Hello Chris, future content idea: Details about your journey as a developer, learning and then entering the field.
Hey, I like it! Thanks for the idea 🙌🏼 I plan on creating content that shows more of my journey personally/professionally and appreciate comments like this that support that goal. I think that type of content fosters better connections with everyone, too.
Where is the small suitcase from?
Neeeeeed that bag
Hiiiighly recommend it. It's more than I wanted to spend on a bag, but worth every penny 🙌🏼
can you plz make a videos on how to download ms in macbook
@simplyrichy_ I’d totally use it for traveling back and forth to replace my North Face backpack! This one seems to have a pocket for everything! No more tangled cables and devices scratching each other lol. (Love the planner btw!)
Lol nothing is worse than tangled cables, especially when you're in a rush 😅
Hii , I am your new subscriber
@joe.riley84 I currently use the same backpack as my EDC as it is a great bag. Was also just given the Full Focus planner as a gift that I need to try and implement. I would use the sling to carry our mics when we go on remote video shoots along with other items so I don't have to carry my laptop bag. Great video
Nice! Sounds like you’d get a lot of use out of the sling as well. How’re you finding the planner?
@@Christomshack I have yet to dig into it and put it into practice. It is understanding what I am to do and watching their tutorial videos.
That bag looks so multi functional and useful. My neice could really use one but I know she wouldn't. She is very girlie, girlie but yet in the tech world 😂😂😂
It also comes in navy and olive! Brevite, Wandrd, Tumi, and Briggs & Riley are all great alternatives 🙌🏼
Love to her your opinion on why Garmin watch over Apple Watch especially since you are in the ecosystem
There's a ton I could say here that I'll talk about in an upcoming comparison (currently wearing both) video, but it ultimately comes down to battery life, flashlight (epix pro 2), and all of the built-in health tracking within the garmin watches. Pros and cons with both though, and I think Apple is only a few iterations away from taking over the market entirely.
I agree with you completely here. I have an Epix Pro Gen 2 as well as Apple Watch and while I have tried, I can’t do two watch thing. I have a Whoop as well but couldn’t stick with a device on each wrist lol. I think the Garmin, from health tracking standpoint is more refined but your right Apple is close…honestly if they could just get battery life to somewhere around 6-7 days I would be in
Like how simple but yet very informative you do your videos. Looking forward to watch more of them. Would use the sling bag to carry part of my tech and personal belongings while traveling!
Next video pls :)
@oin_clicks I will use the bag while going on hiking/ running to keep my phone, moneybag and a small water bottle. Great video, keep it up !
🥰
T7 Shield is awful, so many people have issues with loose USB-C connectors. Mine was loose from day one, even a slight movement would disconnect the drive. Sent it back to Samsung in the Netherlands who found nothing wrong and sent it back, and left me to fight to not pay a large customs charge for "importing" the drive to the UK, which took weeks to sort through and ended up with legal threats from the courier who shipped it to me with the charge to pay later. Won't buy Samsung ever again.
Yikes, that sounds like a nightmare to have had to deal with. Which external drives do you use now?
Love the content but for AUD, that bag is 690+ 😂
YIKES. That price is insane and it sounds like Nomatic needs to set up better distribution for that side of the globe 😮
@2_lexus_coupes I will use the sling bag as a sub-edc for my backpack in the same way you do.
Thank you for the video. You're so handsome
That sling bag seems like the perfect accessory for keeping your essentials close at hand while on the go, especially during the summer months when pockets are limited @alfu5566
I need an iPhone
Apparently Ali Abdaal has been a very important KZheadr in this man’s life
Had to stop watching this. You were supposed to be reviewing the bag, but instead reviewed everything you were carrying inside it!
@rgupta83 the sling would be daily edc bag for my keys, wallet, sun glasses and chap stick. Love a good sling and looking to change out my tomtoc
Sounds like the perfect use case for it 🙌🏼 Which tomtoc are you using now?
@saintlycvd_again here. Yeah, I need to find the right way to mount my sad to my laptop. Anyway, love Moment products and that sling is perfect for summer 2024.
Slipdrive (shown in the vid) is a simple and cost-effective ssd sleeve. I've also tried velcro straps, but those are tough to remove.
@@Christomshack Purchased. Thanks.
You got one detail wrong. This one expands from 20 to 24L, no 30.
I would love that string bag! @cecurado I am currently switching careers, former soccer player that got into hybrid training and still works in soccer as a coach, but I am seeking my first experience as a data analyst! Would definitely have a use very similar to yours. Since I am transitioning, I leave the house with 2/3 backpacks most days and would be a great addition to carry some stuff in a smaller format since I leave the house with so many things. Love the videos! thank you for such great content.
Same here! Sounds like we’re in similar positions with always having multiple bags for various different aspects of life 😅 Apologies if too personal, but how has the transition out of sport been? Speaking from personal experience and from chatting with others, it can be difficult to rediscover oneself and find purpose in new areas of life after hanging up the cleats for the last time
For everyday carry! Thanks @sebtender
@jmmaleniza gonna use it for my everyday commute
@marcxryan I’d use it to carry important stuff like my tater tots
@shintro1322 the sling looks sick and would make carrying around all of my tech and other supplies across campus everyday!
🙌🏼
@jashvin - to hold my essentials biking around the city
@yashovardhansorap Love the video !
@jaimejmarrero, have I won 👀
Haha, I'll pick someone within the week!
@passbyin
I’d use the sling to start building my own EDC sling instead of either carrying too little in my pockets or too much in my backpack. It’ll be the perfect in between that I need. @brad_desouza
I have been wanting a EDC sling but haven't had the money burning in my pocket. I use a hub for mi phone, the Logitech triathlon mouse and a portable keyboard and I am good to go when working remotely. I would love to have a better way to carry this. @sherpa127 thanks!
