Such a great team. Stormed into the show with Itachi as this dangerous guy carring out Kisame. Then we got introduced to Deidara and we saw how dangerous each member was. They reached their peaks, achieved their goal them they all met their ends dealing with their own personal matters. And when you realize the whole story of this team it's just Obito using them. Proves how deep the anime itself is

Omg I remember for 6th grade Halloween me and a group of people went as the akatsuki. I was itachi but I didn’t have the wig cause I didn’t need it cause I have long dark hair that was similar. I remember that Halloween being one of the best. I’m now in 8th grade.❤

I wouldn’t really blame Kishimoto. They were on a deadline and the creator wanted to do so much more things with them (talk about their pasts, hidans immortality and jashinism, and more) wish they made a show with all of them though, that would be cool
Usually in a show everyone dislikes the bad guys but akatsuki were too op and and badass and had a Lot of humour which is why I loved their group they were brothers and sister (konan) literally
Some of them also have the best backstories (sasori, nagato, konan, itachi)
