CHEAP HACKS
Though silica gel packets clearly instruct you to throw them away (and not eat them), you can actually keep them for a variety of unexpectedly practical uses around the home. Silica gel is a desiccant, a substance that absorbs moisture, which makes these packets perfect for keeping things extremely dry and moisture-free.
Commonly found in bags of beef jerky, dried seaweed containers, vitamin bottles, and in boxes of new shoes, silica gel packets can help rescue your wet cell phone, slow down the tarnishing of your silverware and tools, prolong the life of your jack-o'-lantern, and keep your gym locker from smelling funky.
The great thing about silica gel packets is that you can recharge them in the oven if their moisture-sucking capabilities are beginning to run low. Simply spread the silica gel (removed from paper packets) on a cookie sheet and bake at 250°F for a few hours. Afterwards, place the silica gel in an airtight container until you're ready to use them again.

  • cinnomon scroll: -in a medium bowl put, -1 cup or flour -1/2 cup of milk -i recomend putting in a 1/4 cup of sugar -1/4 tsp of baking powder -1/4 tsp of salt ---mix until combined/ a sticky dough consistency, powder the bench with flour and roll out into a rough rectangle. --lightly butter it (optional) sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. -Roll it up. I cut it into smaller ones again and put them on a plate in the microwave for 1 min. Spread cooking oil over the top of the scroll. I do recommend putting it under the grill for a little bit. Until they're a bit golden -let them cool and enjoy!!😊 i hope this was helpful

  • 6:05 ths only thimg this will do os strat a fire. When the wire is plugged in and in use, the wire will most lickly get to the string, incteesing the risk of a fire. Take this from the tech master

  • Be careful if you ever try the one at around 5:15 (Taking off the ring). It’s really easy to get the circulation cut off in your finger. I’d recommend putting a bit of Vaseline/petroleum jelly around the spot where it’s stuck. That works better in my opinion!

  • you can't make dried basil like that. microwaves heat things... keeping the moisture in (think heating a pizza slice and when you take it out its soggy) ... and so you can't really dry out stuff in a microwave...

  • The beauty sponge hack does work! There was a still a bit of hard to remove makeup. Also I tried this hack with dish soap and that also works! Hope that helps!
