  • 14:26 - *DO NOT USE TOOTHPASTE TO CLEAN A CAMERA LENS!* This is a really bad idea! Most toothpaste contains abrasive particles that will leave tiny scratches on the surface of your lens, causing irreparable damage to the optical coating. Don't use paper tissues either; paper is often treated with fine clay powder which will also scratch the lens surface. Instead, use a soft microfibre cloth and a few drops of purpose-made lens cleaning fluid.
