Poor baby woke up that morning thinking everything is great only to later be like i do not remember signing up for this lol. Great instruction video though. You guys did a good job explaining the procedure clearly step by step.
Very clear and informative. Thank you so much. I've equine rotation tomorrow and I really needed this.
Thank you for your comprehensive demonstration If you allow me to add a little bit of my work experience the swallowing response and resistance due to peristaltic movement is an indicator we insert the tube in the right way Absence of resistance indicates we are in trachea.
That was a very informative video thank you so much for being clear and giving great instructions.
Happened to mine last night, first time ever. Afterhours was just me and the vet. Was pretty cool to see, he recovered quickly
Thank you for this video

I have never touched a horse before, but seen you girls changed my whole perspective. I love horses . Your have gentle hands the horse behavior says it all.

Hello, good day! Prior to intubation, is it necessary to dtermine firts the length up to where should we insert the tube?
Such a great video, thanks a lot for sharing !
Proud to be a pre vet student and equine vet

This procedure was performed on my horse when she choked, food stuck in the oesophagus. It took some time but little by little the food was removed and she recovered.

hello, my thesis is gastric to determine the prevalence of gastric ulcer in the horses in the region I am in, for this I need to do a naso gastric probe and I have no experience in this matter. I would appreciate if you could help.
Great video, you are very professional at that
Plz tell me what i do my horse is giving voice from his nose like...(sooo sooo soo)..have galnders problem in past and have infection in nose...
Great dear vet
Very nice.
Awesome
thank u doctor ..I need video about treatement of equine colic please .it is amajor proplem in our country❤❤
Nice video
When you put pressure are you blowing into the tube or sucking air back
I also have this question! I'm thinking she is sucking air back?
I think initially she was blowing whereas later she started to suck air back and that is not recommended at all because the attending veterinarian might contract diseases if by any chance there is the contact of gastric ingesta with the mouth of the vet.
Where can I buy a tube and pump ?
Aahha I love horse this is inposibol
ধন্যবাদ।
Interesting..
Very well behaved horse
Dear doctor name of liquid who mixed in water
Good horse
Anyone round the leading edge of the tube so it doesn’t scrape inside the passages?
Not only for colic but for choke as well!
👌👌
PERO QUÉ BUENOS SOIS, POR DIOS, QUE ENVIDIA
Why do we pass the tube through nasal route instead of oral route in horses?
@Namrata if you go the oral route and the horse happens to bite down it can cut the tube
❤❤❤
Thank you!!!!! I have a question, is it okay if I enter the tube from the horse mouth???
No the horse could bite the tube and the tube could be stuck in the horse
Perigo de contrair uma doença
Not to keen on this(like sheath cleaning) but life of my horse more important than my queasiness...... yes this can be life-saving and is NOT surgery..... go easy and gently.....
How did I end up here
Poor Horse having to go through that poor thing🐴
Looks very uncomfortable. I mean, for the horse - unpleasant. Ending of the tube is hard an cut keeping edges, not rounded.
I was watching a vet do this on tv and the horse bled a whole stream of blood pouring from the nose poor thing
its a nose bleed from shoving a tube through the vascular nasal passage, the horse is fine
🙂🙂🙂🙂😍😍😍
Good luck with your friends and boys and girls are doing it right now for🥚🥚🥚

HALLO DAS WIDIO GEFEHLT MIR
Oh no
Нехрена я не понял. нахрена все это)
Wtf... man it’d suck to be a horse. Imagine having a tube shoved through your nose and into your stomach.
Lots of humans need to have it done as well 😂
Jill F. // dang I’ve never heard of that
@@shane3428 the horse soft palate is too long to make the tube enter via the mouth, so vets introduce it in the noise
🤮🤮🤮
Not sucess. Bad technique.
