Attack on Titanfall: Pilots vs Titans. Pilots have grapple with instant recharge, and must use Ronin's sword to damage titans. Titan team may not eject but is unmodified and may use any titan except for Scorch.

Hide and seek is my favorite. I was on angel city and was sitting in a bush as the seekers ran past me for several minutes. The hiders were all spectating me, and the other hider was just zooming around. Eventually, they found me, but I still look back on it fondly. This whole project is something special.

I got into Titanfall 2 right before the Northstar release. I loved the campaign z and multiplayer was really fun, or so it looked since I couldn't play it. Found Northstar a couple of weeks later when it released and have been having an absolute blast. Really glad the community is so great and makes the game playable for those who just want to have fun. You guys are awesome

Me and my befriends tried to play TitanFall 2 sometime after Christmas, and of course it didn't work. That game was a staple in our friendship and it was devastating realizing that we would never be able to play it again. Thank you macro and BobTheBob for letting us be able to relive our childhood.

I think a cool mode for this would be where each player spawns with 3 or so friendly spectres that follow them around like hacked ones, you could call it something like "bodyguards" or something like that. There could also be a verson where when your titan spawns it deploys 2 reapers with it.
after playing this game for a couple of days it brings me back to the good old days of titanfall 2 my fav mode is attrition where pilots and titans fight each other its great, my only issue as of now is the spawns and players who are dedicated as in "sweats" (but thats a given and i can live with that) as long as im able to play its so much fun

I really love using the titan weapons as a pilot, especially when it’s part of the randomizer mode. It’s hilariously stupid that I ended up playing the game all day
Tried dropping in on Xbox after a long hiatus last week and was devastated to learn about the state of the game. I'll just have to wait for the next steam sale before I go to PC, but once I get used to the high-speed keyboard and mouse controls I'm looking forward to having a blast on Northstar! For people out there who can make mods A game mode where 1 guy is with smart pistol against 10 people who can only only use wingman And there is 5 rounds where the smart becoming pistol guy is randomized İm gonna call smart pistol guy SPG from now on The SPG has 200 hp but only has 1 life The wingmans has 10 lives but they only have 12 shots when they are out of shots they only can melee (Everyone can equip anything they want expect they cant change thier guns but they can change thier abilities) Mvp of the round gets 2 points and winner team gets 1 point so if you win as SPG you get 3 points,if you win as wingmans and your the mvp you get 2 points,if you win as wingmans but your not the mvp you get 1 point After 5 rounds who has the most points wins No titans This can be bit towards SPG side so if its that broken wingmans can have unlimited ammo aswell

10 is a lot, the smart pistol still takes time to lock, and the wingman could 2 shot the spg

What id love to see is new weapons and titans. I have no idea how difficult that would be to implement but a man can dream
I would actually love to see a mod where there are 4 players. One is one of the bosses of the campaign (can be chosen) and has a bit higher health than the other 3 and they try to take down the boss. The bosses also have stronger abilities like maybe Viper’s ultimate has bigger explosion radius and he can move twice as fast as the “Viper Thrusters” upgrade. Maybe Kane’s thermite launcher has longer lasting thermite. Or maybe all of his abilities when they burn on surfaces, it lasts longer. Honestly, I just mostly want to have a multiplayer match where a few people fight Viper. That’s also another game mode. Maybe we can have that actual fight from the campaign as the map and Viper would be an AI (on Master difficulty of course). And three people will fight him. Now I do think an increase in his health should be in order for that because there’s three people shooting him now. But that would be awesome.
The randomizer fastball combo is glorious. Also id like to see frontier defense get some love wirh custom game modes like randomizer or random titan every wave or in general just randomized waves
Fastball kind of reminds me of Search and Rescue from COD: Ghosts. The game mode was a SnD style game mode, but after you die, you drop a dog tag. Of your teammate can grab the tag, then you are revived. Pretty fun, but the similarities end there.
My 2 favorite mods to use on this: Davis and Droz announcer and rgb lights
I still play Titenfall 1 some time, and it gives me nostalgia everetime I play it, when I remember the golden days of Titenfall 1. I grew up with Titenfall and it is a blast seeing the comunety keeping the franchise running.
Haven't played since 2018~2019, but maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan this really makes me wanna hop back in. no other game plays like titanfall 2, and maybe that's why the community is so dedicated.

Me and my mates got into titanfall 2 recently and I suggested we use the northstar client. Couple hours later we are screaming playing sticks and stones SCREAMING when we hit a pulse blade losing it, After we got S&S on the colosseum map and had 10 players on that tiny platform it was hell. 10/10 GET THIS.
I'd love to see a search and destroy mode. The fast pace and gunplay would be a unique experience for a search and destroy game mode

hey off topic but have you ever heard of a game called brawlhalla? If you haven't, it's essentially a free to play fighting game that you can get on pretty much any platform. I played it and i thought it was pretty fun and unique. Not demanding a vid, this is just a recommend.
This has always been my go to game. I played it on Xbox (far too much - that’s my girlfriend speaking) until it got the ddos treatment, then like many others I would sit there for an hour hoping I would get into a game. So a month ago I decided to go down the PC route. My desktop is a dedicated machine used just for music creation and has never been used for anything else. It has 64gig of RAM and is pretty high spec for music production. I downloaded Northstar Client and purchased the game through Steam (remember to set up an EA account before anything else) and a Microsoft wireless adapter for my controller. I loaded a game and……it was like my player was trying to move through a treacle and tar combo. It was glitching like a trooper. I got help from the discord community who asked for my spec and when I said Intel 630 hd GPU they stopped me right there. It was no way near the spec required to run TF2 so I have just replaced it with a GeForce RTX 3060 GPU AND. Upgraded my PSU from 400w to 850w (to be sure) and then started the game and wow, it worked perfectly. As soon as one game is finished it just starts another straightaway. All I’m saying here is check your pc spec if you want to use TF2 Northstar Client and don’t assume it will just work on any system www.ea.com/en-gb/games/titanfall/titanfall-2/news/pc-specs
Imagine a mod where you all just melee each other and have super powers. There would be mechanics like "Blocking" which works like a Shield with a durability meter but will negate all the damage taken from the direction of where you're blocking. This world by Putting your sword up. Once its durability is out, you will be unable to block for sometime until it refills. There's also a Stagger mechanic which can be triggered when you deplete an Enemy of his energy. Crowd Controls will also be present in this Gamemode, CCs like Stun, Slow, Surpression, etc will be in this gamemode. You'll have skills in this gamemode like Earth Shaker a CC/DMG skill where you slap Earth's Ass with your Giant Rod sending massive ripples that deal Knock-up, Knock-back, and damage towards enemies that get hit by it. Pulse Fire, a skill where you basically charge a hyper dense ball of lightning which you can then fire. This thing deals AOE damage at the end and the trail it leaves will also damage you whilst slowing you. This thing also goes through obsticles and another thing. If an enemy gets hit by this, that enemy will get stunned and the ball would explode. Last example would be Rush Hour. Basically makes you faster. Higher DPS, higher movement Speed, faster jumps, faster recovery, etc. In this game mode, there are 3-5 groups of 3. You have a goal to basically reach the top most part of the map and capture the flag. First to 3 wins. Flag spawns at different Areas of the map but they will all be at the highest points. The maps will also have buff pads that will give you boosts, spells, and items to help you win the game. Idk what to call this gamemode.

Gamemode Idea Dodgeball A 1v1 gamemode where there are two titans, they both have the shield that catch and then throw back the missiles at their enemy The goel of this mode is to defeat the enemy titan by exploding them with rockets, you can find rockets at the middle of the map and if the enemy fires their rocket at you, you have to catch and throw the missile back to them and continue until one of you dies of death 3 rounds and the person who wins 2 rounds WIN
i love the randomiser gamemode where all pilot and titan abilites and weapons are completely randomised, its so fun with friends
The mods are all over the place, even I made one that let's you customise your crosshairs and stuff, some guy made a speedometer, another guy made a knockoff peacekeeper using the Kraber's model... The peacekraber is great If I'm understanding it correctly they're making it so that Thunderstore/R2MODMAN supports Northstar, and that'll make stuff like modding so much easier

I have not been able to get Northstar working to be honest but if there is anything I would love for a Fan made map pack, another thing would be a low lighting foggy game mode that is like infection but the infected don't play as pilots but as really fast reapers that have their sounds replaced with some horror themed screeches

This mod is a god send. The only nitpick I have is that a lot of the servers (mainly US East and West) are full most of the time, and the ones that aren't are usually in Europe or Russia. Other than that, great mod all around. Going Kraber-only with the air acceleration turned up to 9k was one of the most fun things i've ever partaken in in this game.

I'm a console player and I just switched over to pc, it's weird starting over with these new controls. I'm glad I get a merit boost that lets me buy back most of my loadout though, and that I can finally play without getting kicked out of servers every ten minutes.
