It's like, imagine having a rock stuck in your shoe that has been there for months and you can never get it out. All of that discomfort goes away when farriers clean out all of the gunk stuck in the crevasse of the hooves and trim down all the excess growth. They can walk around in comfort once again 😊

  • This is my first time watching a professional farrier do his job. I’m absolutely blown away by how you’re able to remove an old horseshoe, clean and trim the bottoms of their hoof, all the while you’re blacksmithing a new shoe. To me that’s extremely impressive but the final fitting and additional detail work like clipping the tips of the hammered horseshoe nails and the final sanding and lacquered finish over the outside of the hoof is amazing to watch. The level of skill and patience needed to work on horse feet is truly remarkable. In the old days, blacksmiths were one of the most important people in any village or town and it’s just so awesome that this incredible art form and skill is still needed today. You definitely have a new fan and subscriber in me. Thank you so much for sharing! Take care!
