3 days of fly fishing in Trout Paradise and never saw another person! p22

In the late summer of 2022, I lived off the grid for 9 weeks exploring and fly fishing some of the west's most remote streams. I recorded every day and started sharing my 9-week truck bed camping road trip after I returned home in mid-October. In part 22, It's day 3 on the stream and I'm hiking down stream into a remote section that I have never seen or fished. After 3 days I can say it was one of the most amazing streams I have ever seen!
I started my 9 week road trip on July 31, 2022, and spent roughly 3 weeks in WY, ID and MT. Check out all the videos from this trip in the playlist linked below:

  • That's what it's about. Getting out there by yourself. Best times. Rare these days. I've been fishing in areas like this, had an osprey swoop down near me to get some too, one time.

  • The last hole you fished with the 22 dry I just fished this last summer and did really well. Size 20 bionic ant and it was non stop action. Skating it would really get the cutties going. And not to mention after I was fished out I would take a swim in that gorgeous deep pool. Camped right next to it and only saw 1 other angler over 3 days.

  • Hi Drew, been following and sub for a while now, your style of fishing videos are my favorite. Thanks for sharing. I am curious what your usual leader setup is for indicator rig / dry fly (brand, length, etc) What is your preferred method to attach leader to fly line? I am looking to purchase a tfo blue ribbon as well (4wt 10’) and would love to hear what you think about your rod. Appreciate your feedback. Cheers 🎉
