theres a technique involved with scoring highly on the cube. you have to hit it just right for all the force to transfer properly. I almost guarantee if Nganou practiced and hit it just right he could match it.
Don’t compare max to Ferguson! He’s a lot closer to Eddy Alvarez but longer and doesn’t throw hard as offer. Alvarez throws some of the best jabs in the game and he stays behind them. He throws lots of straight shots at 50% and disrupts guys timing and rhythm. That’s what Holloway does. Alverez also beat Geathje by too via volume. That’s Holloway game.
Those machines work off a light sensor. It detects how fast the light goes on and off. I could beat that it's easy. To really measure how strong a punch is you would have to set up a hydraulic system that could measure psi.
Yeah but there is resistance so it is not measuring pure speed but still not the most accurate.

I want to pick Max, but think about it like this... Gaethje is every bit as big, and hits every bit as hard as Poirier. On top of that, Gaethje beat Poirier in their last fight, and Poirier already beat Max twice. I'll be more inclined to go with Max, if he's actually able to put on size, and hit harder this time, but I'm not sure his frame will allow it. I like Max so much, that I'm actually a little scared for him, because Gaethje changes people. He took Tony's soul, period. Never the less, I'm putting my support behind Max. He has the heart, and hopefully he will have the size. He NEEDS that extra muscle mass, because he really didn't have it in the Poirier fight.

R Garcia imo is the sharpest puncher in boxing. People clown him about his left hook / check left hook. He’s a one trick pony etc. well that’s a good trick to have. He’s exciting to watch because at any moment when he lands that clean the opponents legs give out. Or they’re knocked unconscious. His speed is at another level I like how he does that lead left hand. To get the opponent to get frustrated and lunge at him. Then he cracks them with that check hook. To the head or body. Nasty. It’s the mental aspect that gets in the way for him. Hopefully as he ages he can get that under control a little bit He should not have fought tank so early and with those stipulations.
