Thanks so much for the sweet comments 🥰🙏 you just made my day ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for the great video❤
🥰🙏❤️
Thank you for this! Your mugs are super cute! When I saw them I thought maybe you had to bake, then pop them off and glue them. Your instructions were very helpful. I'm just starting to play a bit with polymer clay and I'm enjoying the rabbit hole of the many creative ways folks are using it. While I have enjoyed many videos, I appreciate that you talked through your process. Time-lapses are wonderful and fun to watch and can be instructional but it helps to hear the process from the creator.
I am glad you found this video useful! ☺ I try to post both timelapses and slower versions on the channel, and also there are some videos with step by step explanations if you are interested. 😍
Hi, I watched it ,thankyou
Hi Ela, thank you for this interesting video. It's very helpful having this knowledge to know how to stick our creations, made out of polymer clay, onto mugs and cups. It is so kind of you to share this information with others like this. You are such a kind and gentle soul, and you know, the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 🙂 God bless you and your family abundantly this Easter, in the Wonderful name of Jesus Christ, and in His name I pray for you all. Amen.
Hi Carly 😍 Thank you so much for the sweet comment ❤️🥰 I really appreciate it 🙏🤩🥰❤️I am so glad you find my videos useful ❤️❤️❤️ Happy Easter 🐣🐰
Amen! What a lovely comment. You have a blessed day!!

Wow
Thank you very much i love your creations.❤ I would like to know if you are still giving the courses because I am looking for it on your website but I can't find it.
Thank you! I do have the course on my Skillshare: skl.sh/3IgjnxO
This is darling
beautiful job, you're so talented 😊 Btw I have questions about to make this waterproof: 1.) How do u glaze your art, do you glaze it after baking+gluing and then baking the mug again with the glaze? 2.) Which glaze would you recommend?
Polymer clay is very durable and waterproof after the bake so no glaze is needed. If I want something to shine, or if I use mika powder or acrylic paint, then I seal them with fimo gloss/matt varnish. But you can use any varnish compatible with your polymer clay brand 😊
Hi, you make such a great job . Thank you for sharing with us . Can I ask you which Produkt do you use? Sculpey Fimo or cernit? Because you bake the mug one hour and on the box of fimo they say DO not bake over 30 min??? Best regards Anna
Hi! Thank you for the comment 😍 I use Fimo. When I started out, I used to bake for 30 minutes but the doll was still fragile and the details broke easily. I tried for 1 hour and checked multiple times (for possible smoke 😅) but it turned out just fine and details where much more flexibility and resistant to pressure. So it now has been 3 years that I bake them for 1 hour. However, I never change the recommended temperature.
Beautiful work still the clases and were?
Thank you! That’s so great! What a gifted artist you are. I’m wondering just how durable the mugs are. Like, can they really be used as a mug? Realizing they’d need washing care etc…but does the clay ever snap off or break just by normal use? I find some brands of polymer clay to be so fragile after baking. But gorgeous art piece one way or the other!!!
Thank you so much for the kind words 😍❤️ it can be used but it should be hand washed only. It is not dishwasher or microwave safe.
Thanks fr sharing such details bt could u tell what cup u use? Can we use any cup?
Yes any cups (not plastic obviously) would be fine 😊
Hii Ela , Thank you very much for learning this Art of Clay Can i do you full course from beginning to end ? please share the details Awaiting for your reply
Hi 👋🏻 I have one on KZhead: kzhead.info/sun/ZZyvcrChrYiDhJ8/bejne.html
Hola!!! Una pregunta así como quedó la muñeca al final, ya se puede mojar con agua o usar para tomar bebidas ya sea fría o caliente? Me encanto tu trabajo y agradecería una respuesta!!
Yes you can use the mug with hot and cold drinks and wash it. Just remember only polymer clay works for this (oven bake clay)
What’s the best clay brand to use?
I only have used Fimo as it’s widely available where I live. 😊
Ay tengo otra pregunta!!!! Que tipo de porcelana usas? O sea la marca!!! Realmente quiero empezar a hacer este tipo de manualidades!! Soy de costa rica 🇨🇷. Un saludo!!
I use Fimo polymer clay
What type of oven u used? Is it Toaster Oven available for bake polymer clay?
I have used normal kitchen oven for 3 years before buying my toaster oven. Both work!
Que masa usa? Por favor indica el tipo de masa y si es posible la receta, los trabajos quedan maravillosos, hermosos, me encantaron pero es necesario saber la masa a utilizar y como hacerla...PD por favor traducción al español
Fimo polymer clay. You can buy it online.
No crees que podes mucho?... Te traduzcan AL espanol? Eso deberian hacer lo tu
Is there a link to where to get your glues you are using here?
You can find the epoxy glue here under the tools: www.amazon.com/shop/coffeecupids For the super glue I am using one from dollar store, so it doesn't matter which brand you are using. ☺
If it is made of air-dried polymer clay, can it escape after air-drying? 🥺❤️
I don’t know what do you mean by escape? But I think you should glaze the air dry clay with something to becomes waterproof
Hi can I know is this waterproof and can we use this daily
Hi yes it is waterproof and you can use it daily. But hand wash only. It is not dishwasher or microwave safe ☺️
Hi, in India which brand polymer clay u recommend for coffee mug?
Hi dear! Unfortunately I am not familiar with clay brands in India. I use Fimo polymer clay and I heard also good things about Cernit polymer clay. But usually any oven-hardening clay should be fine on the mug.
Will bake and bond work to adhere doll to cup?
No, I don’t think it would 🙂
Is it safe to microwave after its finished?
No it’s not because microwave will bake it again every time you use it.
This is gorgeous! Can you use airdry clay for this too?
Air dry clay is not as durable as polymer clay. It is also not waterproof and you have to seal it. I also heard that it will come off the mug after a while no matter which glue you use.
is it washable???
Yes but hand wash only!
I don't hv oven so hw can i bake this
You can buy one of those mini ovens or search internet if there is another way to bake the polymer clay, because polymer clay won’t cure/get hard without baking
Is the epoxy glue REALLY slow drying? I ask because you go so very slow in putting it on and THEN put super glue on too.
Mine takes 90 minutes to dry and 6 hours to completely set 🤷🏻♀️ Usually the stronger they are it took them longer to dry.
@@CoffeeCupids wow! The epoxy before even applying it would take 90 minutes? That’s crazy but worth it. You have SUCH beautiful artwork!!!
@@morgannwilliams967 each brand is different. They are those two part glues. After you mix them they start to bond. Each brand has the drying time written on it. Thank you 🙏 glad you liked them 😍❤️
I don't have oven then how to dry it?? Please reply
I use polymer clay and it needs baking to cure. I don’t use air dry clay.
@@CoffeeCupids bt how to bake the polymer clay without oven
@@muskanshaikh8843 I have read that there are some ways to do it but I never used them. You can use google for the instructions😊
@@CoffeeCupids ok thanks 👍
Polymer clay doesn't have expired date ?
Sometimes the old ones get very hard. But generally there is no expiration date on Fimo, which is the brand that I use.
Your voice is too low
Your ears are too deaf. Turn up the volume. Lordy. Why would you even make such a comment? At least she spoke through the steps and didn't just play loud music over a time-lapsed video like so man other "tutorials."
