The final evolutions honestly are too cool 😅 those three honestly could be a legendary trio especially with the typings. The legendary elk of the forest, the legendary mountain goat of the volcanic peak, and the water spirit of the Great Lakes.
Thought the same thing yo def could b a new take on the legendary dogs

Cool to see electric as a secondary type. Didn't think it could fit a starter trio, but with dragon and fairy I think it's fine. All starters were pretty cool. Love the dual typings!
I mean in my region the starters start of as water poison, electric and bug type. And end in a water fairy water, electric Psychic and bug fairy.

I’ve never been a competitive player and have always chosen my starters based on final designs, but these fan designs.... I literally could not choose I’m in love with all of them!!
The grass starter (first evolution) has the best design in my opinion. But once they all fully evolve, its really hard to decide ur starter choice😅
Apparently, Cerofloria (the Grass starter) could be another waifu starter since there's already Delphox (Fire starter waifu from Kalos) and Primarina (Water starter waifu from Alola) appearing in the series. ❤
@@HeartAino193 i know a lot of people say that Meganium was also a waifu starter, but i think Meganium just gave GameFreak and the creators the idea to make starter pokemon like Delphox and Primarina.

The concept, naming, design, ability etc. are so well thought and original. This is exactly how I wish/imaging how the process of designing a pokemon and making it's lore would be.

I’m just gonna say that you did a better job with middle evolutions transitioning from the first to last stage than most official starters
The grass starter overall looks the best to me from beginning to end. And I'm sure I could figure out a way to cover up those horns for maximum cuddling lol! The fire starter was a close second and it would be the one I'd choose a second playthrough if these were actual games.

Not sure which I'm impressed more by, the logical details behind these drawings for why you've designed them the way you did, or that same level of logical detail for naming them the way you did. These are amazing! If these were the real starters for a new gen coming up the fans would instantly think they were top tier starters.

I'm doing my own region with my starters of a grass rock starter based on a shrub ox ... mixed with moss and a flower I haven't decided on yet.... a fire electric starter based on a horse and bits of the flash ... and a water dark starter based on a snake with a sling esc tail that eventually was developed into a slingshot modern day... though I'm sticking with the ancient one though

I adore all fire-type pokemon ( except infernape ) and I think this is the only region I would pick the water starter instead of the fire one. I also love dragon types and the fact that it is part pather basically seals the deal.
I would FOR SURE pick Calftus, so adorable and probably would be a great support to a future team.
I really like this set of starters! I would probably pick the Fire Starter. I'm impressed with it's final stage because in my region my fire starter was also a big horned sheep but I couldn't find a way to make a volcano on it's back look good. With yours, however, the volcano fits right in!
i really like this region so far! i live in arizona so it's super cool to see a region based partially on my home state. personally, i think i'd probably pick merink. i think it's super cute and its evolution is really cool.

Well there goes my ideas for an elk-based grass starter (albeit with a corn theme) and goat-themed fire starter for my fan region based on the Midwest... Cool starters, in any case! I definitely would pick the water starter.

Cerofloria’s design and name are BEYOND marvellous. As a grass type lover, i’d pick it in a heartbeat. The fire bull has that Emboar vibe to it, ok-ish average design. Finally, Panthahgon is a fascinating one, looks like a mix of Vaporeon, Gyarados and Lycanroc. And i’d DIE to have one in my team!
Grass is my favourite type but I choose a starter based on the final evolution and my favourite is the water starter. Although, having a “Panther” as a partial design base doesn’t really make sense. Panther is the term used to describe a melanistic (black) Leopard or Jaguar. Which species did you choose as a design inspiration?
For the past few weeks I've been making a Pokemon Dungeons and Dragons campaign for my little brothers and me to play. This was a great inspiration! I would chose the Ovisuvius line for sure!

I'm picking the grass starter cause that ability tho (Actually restarting for hours to just get it's Hidden Ability Prickly would be a pain, Water Starter it is.)

@@PragMagik Oh, I assumed it's normal ability was Overgrow (with the others having Blaze and Torrent) since all starters have that as their normal ability
My favorite was the fire starter for the first two evolutions, but once they were fully evolved, Panthagon is by and far my favorite. I must admit that Dragon-types are a weakness of mine, and its beautiful design definitely evokes the imagery of Vaporeon, which I believe to be the best-designed Gen 1 Eeveelution. I could easily see this pokemon becoming a staple of my team.

I choose the fire type. Maybe it their typing being Fire/Electric, it having a cool design, or that I usally think the fire types are usually the best in most starter trios (Litten, Scorbunny, Tepig, ect.)

Love these! I really appreciate the care and method taken to create the names. Only criticism would be for Calftus and Bucktus having the same suffix but the designs are so awesome I think I can overlook it. I typically am a water or grass starter guy so I would go with Marink. It's final evo is SO unique and also super pertinent to the region. Love em all!

These starters are amazing man. I’m also making a region based of the western United States as you might’ve saw me say from the AMA and this inspired me to let out my creative side.
I would definely take the fire type starter cause, a fire electric type is incredible, his ability is preety op, and he is a vulcanon mon inspired of vesuvios so its cool
This is really cool. I've been making a region based on Michigan that I call the Michalo Region. I've been playfully calling my project Pokemon Bloom/Frost. My starters are Kittenleaf, Famewolf, and Dolpenie. They're based on a cat who becomes a Grass/Dark tiger, a gray wolf who is pure Fire all the way through, and a dolphin who is Water/Ice through it's whole line.
I definitely choose calftus as a starter just because of its looks Cant wait to see other pokemon in this region
I am making my own region called the Flona region. The only starter gimmick thing I knew was the water starter with an actual weapon. My grass was a jackolope (a rabbit with antlers) and my fire was a bear. Now I already did the starters and many more pokemon in my book so I was too late to change it. But... in your region, I would choose the grass starter because it looks cool and I expect it to be powerful in special defense and attack.

I think Ovisuvious or Panthagon are my favorites here. They are just so cool and I love the dual typing on them.
I love all of these! I'm typically one to choose the grass starter but I am a huge fan of Panthahgon. I like him better than any water starter the real games have ever given us. Lol. Although, for the first forms, Flambabe take the cake! Adorable! If I choose him I would probably never want to evolve him!

The hidden abilities for the starters that I came up with could be Nature’s Blessing(becomes immune to status conditions and would work like leftovers if it has one), Obsidian(If it’s hit with a water type move, it’ll become immune to water type attacks and raises both of its defensive stats), and Dragon Lore (Immune to all fairy type moves)
