I am a confessed plant killer. 😢My mother grew up on a farm, and like you, is a natural “Plant Whisperer “. I’m so happy that I found you and Miyu, because I am learning so much and feeling so much more confident thanks to you. When I was a kid I used to watch Bob Ross on Public Television and he helped me grow as an artist. You are my new Bob Ross! Thank you.❤
aw 🌱✨
Benjii. I am impressed with your Spanish ability! Do no worry about your accent. My mother language is Spanish and English is my second language. As long as your get your ideas across, other things do not matter!
Thank you! That’s good to know. I’m always self conscious about my accent so it’s nice to hear that. I never think about other peoples accents when they speak English so I just need to apply that to myself!
I was hoping someone would say the same to me about my English being my second language.
as a mexican viewer it’s so sweet hearing you speak spanish and wanting to learn the language more, échale ganas benji!! 💚
I've never watched someone talk about plants but yours are just so calming. And gentle. Thank you
I'm a college student and it's finals week. This video really calmed and regulated my nervous system Thank you!
Good luck!!! 🌱✨
Same. Just had my first final today 😰
same!!
My goodness, i was not expecting you to sound so natural while speaking in Spanish!! Love your content, learning so much about plants 🪴 from you!!!🫰
As a Southamerican girl i truly loved hearing you speak spanish and trying to become better in it! your friend sounds truly nice as well! Thanks for updating us again with a lovely and calming video! A much needed rest for me after working a tiring evening shift✨
Benji, KEEP IT UP with the spanish!!!🙌🏽🙌🏽👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Its always refreshing when people make the choice to learn or practice another language...no matter if you have an accent or mess up some tenses...the magic is on doing it!! And it opens our world a lot more. 🧡😊
Your vibe is immaculate and so calming !
Just woke up in the middle of the night, and lo and behold, you upload a video! I won't be tired of sayimh thanks to you and your videos, Benji! They bring calmness and peace to my mind and heart.💚 Thank you for sharing fragments of your life with us! I wish you, Chris, and your family the best in life! 💚🙌🏻
Thank you Benji! Seriously, your videos are good for my mental health and I thank you. Just be you and your doing gods work and healing ppl.
I love your videos so much. 🌱I’ve been rewatching a lot of your vids here and also on tiktok. You’ve inspired me to start looking for beautiful pots for my plants to make them feel more at-home :)
Your house is an inspiration, I want to have the same decor when I have my own!
Ok time for my therapy session!
I'm so obsessed with your videos, man. The editing and aesthetic is flawless. Your eye for creativity for potting plants is to strive for.
Honestly Benji your Spanish accent is superb. Keep on conversing with your friend in Spanish. Your outside garden is just amazing. I love your calming, inspirational videos.
Your Spanish is great! Even with the American accent!!! My sisters who are half Mexican and Nicaraguan can’t even hold a basic conversation like this with our grandma.
Eevery morning I make breakfast and coffee and watch something on youtube to start my day and nothing makes me as excited when I get to start off my day with a Benji post :-)
I absolutely love your channel. Everything is so calming and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Can't wait for your Ireland vlog. Love seeing the star, Theo, at the end 🧡🌿
I think it's always so lovely to see other people learning your mother tounge! This warmed my little mexican heart! Your Spanish is really good, I hope you keep wanting to speak it! And please don't worry about the accent (although you sound really good), we all have accents, I think it's about seeing the beauty in the imperfect. Having an accent just means that you put in the effort to learn another language and I think that's admirable! P.S.: En español te decimos el BenjiPlanta ❤🌱☕🍵
Hi Benji your outdoor garden is really looking nice now it has settled in and everything is starting to grow. I'm in Australia and have tree ferns growing in the garden. They like plenty of water so give yours plenty of water and it should be very happy. 🌴🤗
Your videos are so soothing and healing. thank you 💚
For that vining native plant, you can look up any lonicera species, dutchman's also a good choice, coast morning glory.
I just love your calming videos! Everything looks so beautiful in your garden and up on the balcony. I bet Theo was so glad when you were home.
I absolutely love (and am so fricken jealous of) the Asian squat. Benji makes it look so unbelievably comfortable! 😊
Seeing your garden flourish, especially now that it's spring, is so gratifying!
A great mix Benji Love the new pots, the garden is looking amazing!! And your spanish sounds great the more you speak it the more confident you will be ,i live in australia but born in uruguay ,my two kids are your age snd still i find myself teaching them new words or expressions ,learning a second language is so rewarding good on you!!! I have been following you for sometime,i dont often comment but today i wanted to say that you are an admirable young man ! 👋 💚🍀🌵🌿💚
I love how much professional plant work you've been doing lately, it's awesome!
yes--makes sense your aura is blue---peaceful calming
oh my god the native plants are looking so good!!! ive been waiting for these updates
im sobbing rn cause i miss your vid so much i lit binge watching all of my fav vid from you for HOURS i knew it has only been 12 days but ahhhhhh
18:07 this is so gorgeous, it's practically cinematic
Please upload videos twice a week 🙏🏼, your videos are tooo much calming ❤
Though i certainly wouldn't complain, I'd rather have quality over quantity. Also, burnout is no joke. I've seen so many KZheadrs quit because they uploaded too much and got burnt out completely.
@@thomasgatti thank you for your advice 🙏🏼
The garden looks lovely.
Benji you never fail to disappoint!❤ You are an inspiration.
Your Ikea booth was so cool! i love it. Everything looks so nice! y tu español es bastante bueno, no importa tu acento, todos tenemos acentos.
Way to go Benji? Love your plants.
OMG! LA has the coolest events. I would just faint if I saw you in my San Diego IKEA and I am a grown 🍑 woman! For your wall, maybe a morning glory plant. Is that a Wassel tote you were using at IKEA? Love!!!
@applezaida3815, I feel the exact same way!
welcome home! I'm loving your balcony garden :)
The garden is starting to look sooo good!!! Love the native plants but also love the Japanese maple and the Tree Fern!!!
So many beautiful plants 🪴 Your Spanish is very good Benji! Painters tape may be easier to remove and not leave residue on your ceramics. black paint on the fence would hide the different materials it’s made off and let plants really stand out.
Your video is comforting
Love LOve LOVE the tree fern. Brought back memories from 20 years ago when i attended a Hardy Plant Study Weekend here in Portland Oregon and one was awarded to me as a door prize! Thrilled, of course. Had it a couple of years, but lost it during an unusually cold winter storm. Nice to see it in your garden. It is a show stopper for sure. I really enjoy your videos. You really have so much knowledge of the plant world and always look forward to what I can learn from you. Enjoy Ireland!. My brother and his wife are going there this summer. I understand they have lot of roadside wild fushias there.
I love the broom as an art piece..very cool. I was also impressed with the non native fern tree. Your grandparents planter will be used many other times and will bring those 2 people back in your memories
Benji, welcome back to America! I want to give you some positive REINFORCEMENT!!! You are such a gentle person that I can’t imagine your “stage fright” at your IKEA booth, but thanks for recording your last presentation. We could tell how gentle you were with the woman you were helping re-plant a plant 🪴 right there! Very gentle. Watching you carefully “paint” the glue as you reassembled the broken pot made me wonder if you’ve ever dabbled in painting! 🎨 You were doing it so carefully. (Did you worry about the excess glue or not??) I admire plants but as I may have mentioned, I have a real “brown thumb”. Best wishes!
I love all of your travel vlogs! Please keep doing them :) Vietnam is so beautiful
Loved this video. Yes we missed seeing Theo so much. 🐶 But we love your travel vlogs. We’re so excited to see your Ireland one. 🇮🇪 Have you considered painting the concrete fence and wooden fence outside a dark charcoal colour. It would really make the plants pop. 🤗 Just a thought. Can’t wait till the next video. PS: we’re enjoying Chris’s videos over on his channel too. Loved your cameo. ❤
Garden is looking beautiful. I love tree fern and the maple tree!
Love the broom
cant say youll enjoy the plant scenery in ireland but i hope you have a wonderful time at my home
You explain everything so well thank u for that😊
Yo! I'm from Ecuador and your Spanish is good! You're really fluent and it's a great way to practice speaking to your friend in their native language c: i bet it makes their day!
I got so excited when you mentioned you are you going to Ireland for the summer. I live in Dublin, hope I get a chance to meet you. ❤
The garden is looking awesome, imagine it a year from now!
yay another video from benji !!
We also use those brooms in Africa for outdoor
I call my breast cancer surgery scar kintsugi.. my beautiful scar
Wow! Me encanta! Soy Mexicana y es de admirar cuando alguien se esfuerza en hablar español, lo haces muy bien! No te preocupes por el acento, eso es lo que hace único ❤
Loving the Barbra Streisand “Star Is Born” coiffure!
Your garden/yard is looking so amazing, still so stoked that you decided to go with natives. The wildlife will thank you
❤❤❤❤ the gardens !!
Broom made of the middle part of coconut leaves.
Thanks Benji. Your garden is looking so good! I live in Australia and the other day I saw a tree fern so tall it looked like a palm tree in someone’s front garden!
just wanted to let you know that your videos always inspire me to create 🫶🏽 it just gives me this warm feeling!
I loved to hear you speaking spanish!! I´ll love to see your progress in future videos, your accent is really really good, saludos desde Honduras🤭
As an Australian 🇦🇺 I can tell you that in the state of Tasmania they call them man ferns and can be 15 feet tall. I know because I’ve seen them. In Victoria we call them tree ferns. They feed from the top - trapped composting leaves etc and probably dead insects and bird poop. Place a banana skin to rot into it as food.
Beautiful garden.
I really need a playlist with the songs in your videos
I love the Australian fern tree's also .... just love them so much
You can prevent the pot from cracking by drilling the hole while the pot is fully submerged in water.
You Look Really Great all dressed up Benji I Love Love Love your Hair
Your videos are so calming and relaxing, Benji. Thank you for bringing a bit of peace and contemplation to my day. I'm a Canadian who spent two decades living in Ireland before moving to California 5 years ago. I have to suggest visiting Jimi Blake at Hunting Brook Gardens in County Wicklow if you can make it while you're over there. Although I'd say you know about this special spot already? Also, if you're in Dublin city centre, it's worth finding the Iveagh Gardens for a quiet break in the middle of town. Enjoy your Irish travels when you head over there!
Love it❤ please make some q&a videos ❤😊😊
I suggest bugambilias for your wall! I have some growing all across my fence and they give off the most gorgeous flowers almost year round
Hi Benji, I never leave comments on your videos but today I wanted to leave one. Your videos are so inspiring and calming 💛 My mom is also a big fan of your channel even though she doesn't speak / understand English lol She's got a green thumb so you have the perfect content for her. Love from Italy xxx Mariangela
Ahhh que tierno té escuchas hablando español Benji!!! Mucha suerte en tus estudios, me encanta ver tus videos 🪴🫶🏼💕
Benji, your Spanish is so good !!!! ❤️🥹
I find it amazing that most of experiences are somehow shared. The Vietnamese broom you showed is very similar to the "vassoura de palha" that we have here in Brazil. The main difference is that ours have a stick attached to it. And, like you said, its very helpful!!! Anyway, loved the vlogs and your videos!!!
Hi Benji! Welcome back home! I think your Ikea plant invitation/experience went well and I know the door will be wide open for you to expand your plant talent career! Love the "ginger jar" vessel! A bonsai will look great in it! Pretty soon your garden will be like the "Garden of Eden"! Love it! Great job on the broken jar! Hugs!
i cant wait for the ireland vlog(s)!
Your plants Benj looks great. I also encourage you to also plant more fruits and Veges. Maybe you'll like it. Bless you couple ❤
Wow those nasturtiums are beautiful!
omg benji ur spanish is soo good! 🥺
Love always your video so talented ❤❤❤
Your content is quality so I really have to follow.

New Subscriber I have just recently found you !!! Very impressed with You in so many ways. You are a very well rounded young man. Handsome To !!❤ I hope all your hopes and Dreams come true . Be safe and live every day to the fullest .
Yay new video!!
i feel like Theo has grown!? i wondered would you ever consider keeping a little scrapbook / digital book listing your pots and the little stories behind them / locations!?
puedemos is crazy 💚
life is crazy. i never expected benji to know spanish, IT IS REALLY GOOD!!!!
Thumbnail is fire🔥🔥
Sweet Theo 💚💚
Love your videos 🤗
Waiting for your next video ❤
your accent is really good !!!!
you should see if there's a ceramics/pottery class that specializes in teaching things like how to mend pots, decorate them, pair them with plants, or other things you're interested in to expand your skills :) i also need some gardening advice, if anyone could help! 🌱 so im growing some new plants after my snake and asparagus came back that i got last year. nothing has survived in this apt before, but im finally succeeding slowly. So this year, i got just some dollar store seeds and have a medium-sized wildflower garden sprouting like crazy, some cosmos that i gave to my girlfriend to take care of, and i have a mystery large-ish round white seed sprouting in it's own tiny pot from an envelope called "garden mix." i wish i knew what it was, it's just shedding it's shell in the last day. 🌼 i cant afford fertilzer, and cant make compost in my tiny apartment, but i crushed up some egg shells and spread them so i hope that helps the tiny plants get stronger. if anyone has any idea what the mystery seed is, or any more ideas to give my plants nutrients from what i might have at home, i'd really appreciate it! im trying to give my garden as much love as possible.
Have you ever let carrots mature into carrot flowers? They are really cool and attract bees and butterflies
4:33 there also is brooms like that in africa but they are made out of sticks insteade of grass. Lots of love
22:44 How awesome you're doing an IKEA event. Wish I could have attended. Your plants all look great. Nice to see you & Theo. 😊
Nominating california manroot (marah macrocarpa) as the native vine for your garden wall. Fun leaves, drought resistant, and it makes some cool spiky fruits !
