A real man is one who has learned humility. I am 78 years old and heard that as a child and it still holds true today. just now as I watched this video I heard a real man speak and it was my pleasure to listen to him. Thank you for sharing your story!
Thank you Margaret.
There's nothing to be sad or ashamed of Noah because when we fail, as we all do at times, we are experiencing one of the steps to success. The only real failure is when we don't learn from the experience. It's obvious that you have studied your past decisions and paid attention to the mistakes and have taken care to learn and apply what you have learned. That's success, or at least a giant step in the right direction. There are many more adventures in the Fight of Faith left ahead. Keep your trust in the Lord and seek Him first and all else will fall in line.
Wayne, I couldn’t of written this any better! Noah, is an outstanding man from learning through this experience and starting all over again. His children are learning greatly from watching their father. For a young couple sticking together and experiencing all this, sure shows the love they have for each other and a great promise of sticking side by side each other in their future! The people who are watching Noah’s videos and not subscribing, please do. It sure helps out his channel greatly!! I love this channel!!! 🤗
Thank you for the kind words!
Thank you Kim!
@@kimfrommn7162 I get that he's a nice guy and I like his videos a lot too.
@@BrokenArrowBison I certainly meant them. Your passion for these big beasts shows and when you do something you love, it's not nearly as much like work.
I have been married for 35 years. We have had ups and downs throughout our years.sometimes you have to step back regroup and start over again.
You live and learn Linda. Thank you!
Shame the haters. It's a personal busit choice. None of anyone's business but yours alone. It's honorable that you felt comfortable sharing. And I hope othersearn from the path you are on.
Thank you Jen!
That is a sad story but I'm glad you kept your faith & made it back into the bison business.
Thank you!
We all have to live & learn. Do NOT be ashamed or embarrassed. I applaud you for your honesty. You did/do not have to explain yourself to anyone. Everyone goes through hardships. You learned from it & now you move on….. Your doing great things now!!! Be proud of you & your accomplishments!! So proud of you Noah!!!! Great video honey!!
Well said. Amen.
Thank you Pamela!
😃
Yeah he did. This has been the focus of the channel. So an explanation was in order.
@@suzannehartmann946 no, the focus of his channel IS raising the American Buffalo, educating us to the best of his ability and entertainment. Period! Yes, he’s mentioned his other herd but he was under no obligation to expose his & his family’s heartbreak, trials, tribulations & unfortunate downfalls. He told us because he is an honest, kindhearted person that doesn’t want anyone else to have to suffer/endure what he and his family went through. He was in no way obligated to say any of it as it’s truly no one’s business.
Didn't know any of your back story, what a quick come back after the set back and your youth..BTW I'm in my late 60 stupids. We all can look back and say I should have, would have but you moved forward. Wisdom gained any way is priceless. Blessing with your new bison and on your family
Thanks for your support! We all live and learn.
Best of luck, welcome back
Thank you Donna!
Such lovely names for the bison.
😃👍🏻
Just because you have started over, does not mean you can not make it successful. God always finds a way to turn a grey cloud to abright sunny day.
Thank you Ruth!
You have come a long way since those days. Don’t listen to people that have no idea what you are living through
Thanks for your support!
Noah good video talking about where you was and where you are at now. That was a sad story. I know we had to sell all our cattle and never got the means to get back to it again. I am so proud you never gave up on your dream noah. I can see how much you love your bison. Keep chin up high and keep trudging forward you will get back to a good size herd. Happy Sunday everybody.
Thanks Diana!
Love the passion you have for your dream! Don't listen to keyboard warriors, people can tell you have the Bison best interest at heart! Love your videos!
Thank you Jackie!
Always trust in the Lord hon. You'll never go wrong. Bless you and your family.
Absolutely right Pamela! Thank you!
People need to know that farming is difficult, complex, that you need a lot of support and a LOT OF KNOWLEDGE. I think sometimes people see folks that have been doing it for a long time with a smooth operation and do not realize what it took to get here from scratch. Sometimes people see a family farm where the person they see today as an adult grew up on a functioning farm and inherited the knowledge and the facilities. To start from being a city slicker and going into homesteading or farming is NOT EASY or automatic. IT IS EXPENSIVE. As someone once said a farmer is a BUILDER. Laying pipes, building sheds and barns and places for animals to water and shelter. TELLING people how hard it is lets THEM KNOW if they want to this what it takes. Thank you for being honest and detailed.
Thank you Suzanne!
Great story glad u shared it
Thank you!
@@BrokenArrowBison ur welcome
Noah, you have come a long way. I'm proud of you. Keep doing the awesome job you're doing. Don't look back, just move forward now. It takes a great man to open up like you have, but I do want to say something though. You don't owe ANYONE an explanation for your decisions and choices. When someone leaves a mean or disrespectful comment, immediately STOP reading it and delete and block them. That is your business and only yours, not for those certain people to judge. You don't ever need those negative comments or vibes. I'm looking forward to your next videos.
Thank you Susan! I appreciate your support!
Noah that's all behind you and now you can move on with ehat you love. God bless you and keep your eye on the prize!
Thank you Sandy!
Glad you kept up with what you really wanted .😀

Forgive yourself love and DONT DONT CALL YOURSELF STUPID BE POSITIVE ABOUT YOURSELF. i am 73yrs young and have learned a lot. Go in Christ Jesus lovie.
Thank you so much!
Hey, my mom played games with bison neckbones in a buffalo wallow in Western Kansas when she was young, the late 1920's. It is part of being in Kansas. My dad was raised on a farm due south on the Kansas/Oaklhoma border. This is so much of our history! I am proud to support you and hope for the day when the tall grass returns and the buffalo can wander free again.
Thank you for your support!
They are prehistoric animals ! Among the first to roam vast plains, and to be graved on caves.. Thank you to have shared your chaotic journey. It's a matter of luck too, wether we listen to the right people or not to lead us in our projects whatever they are. You had a bad start but efforts always pay and look at where you are now. 👍You have healthy animals and a good promising future. Little River seems so sweet indeed. Herds dynamics are always interesting with horses too.
Thank you so much!
You are doing great. We were all stupid in our 20s.
Thank you Cyndi!
Good evening 620pm UK true gentlemen

It's good you educated the true difficulties in this however you don't need to explain yourself. No such thing as failure as wrong turns and mistakes teach us success
Remember to not keep all your eggs I'm 1 basket. Have a backup such as wife working. You working or cattle ect. From your discussion your truly understanding this
We are all behind you, your a good man. Put your trust in the Lord ask for his Grace and follow him!
Thank you Judy!
Noah I can relate to your story and can confirm that learning from our mistakes and picking ourselves backup makes us a far better person. Be grateful for your family, friends and what God has given you. Keep up the good work on the ranch and keep the videos coming, I really enjoy them.
Thank you so much for the kind words!
Noah thank you for sharing with such honesty We have sayings in Ireland "A man who never made a mistake never did anything" and " If you dont know what to do ask someone who does" -- good mentors are just waiting to be asked and it seems you have at least two plus a very supportive wife and family keep on keeping on Noah and keep sharing the triumphs and the things that havent worked (these are not failures just something that didnt work that you have learned from) please share more of these as none of us are too old to learn from others experiences Best of luck Noah and Gods blessings to you and your family - Ciaran
Thank you so much! Those are good sayings!
God blesses the broken path. How much more do you cherish your new life now?
Absolutely! Life is a lot sweeter.
Some times God has something else for you to do. In the end God blesses you with your dreams if its in His plan for you.
He definitely has plans for everyone!
You and your family have traveled a rough road indeed and I'm so glad you're back working on your dream. May your path be filled with wonderful times expanding on what you and your family love.
Thank you!
Thanks for sharing your story. Souns like you jumped in with both feet and didn't look first . Not always a bad thing- just typical enthusiasm of youth and you were very young. It was a lesson learned the hard way-I've had a few of those- but learn you did and you dug yourself out of the hole you wre in. I'm glad tha you didn't lose your passion or enthusiasm now that you're older and wiser. If we never made mistakes, we'd never learn anything new.
Thank you Kathy!
@@BrokenArrowBison You're very welcome.
Don't b so hard on urself . The people that say not so nice comments . They don't walk in ur shoes . The good thing is u r learning from ur choices . Just b nice to ur self . Keep on going forward . God bless u & ur family . Love see this magnificent animals
Thank you Lina!
Youth and inexperience often combine with stubbornness to result in lessons of life learned the hard way. Those are the ones you never forget. No one is perfect including the harsh critics. The only ones you may owe an explanation to is your family but never think you owe an explanation to a KZhead viewer who doesn't know you but thinks they have right to be critical after watching a video of yours. 💕
Robin Rummel! PERFECT COMMENT. I am subscribed to other blogs/posts and there is always those butt heads "who know more than you and will slam you no matter what". I believe they need to get with the LORD and learn some humility, or a swift kick in the backside. Sometimes it TAKES BOTH!✝✝✝✝✝✝🤷♀️🥰
Thank you Robin!
Thank you Kathy!
Boy are you back on track? Cause it sounds like you have grown and Learned and that makes me smile, just listening to you….
😃👍🏻
A little older, a little wiser. Thanks for sharing, I bet it wasn't easy.
Not easy but glad we’re on the other side of it. Now for the next lesson. Lol
Start small and strong . Screw the haters , now get on those tire waterers . Lol life has a funny way of coming full circle. Now to everyone SUBSCRIBE !!!
LOL thanks Ken!
I wish I could have a place to put a couple caves even if we have to bottle feed them, in hopes of them being a bit tamer. The Buffalo have been a favorite of mine for the most of 72 years, Thank you for sharing your story with us, Be hang the others with their stupid comments. I feel you did the best you could under the circumstances. I have a grandson & like you he knows it all... Sure hopes he grows up & begins to see the light... Prayers for you & your family, for the new bison, may God protect you all. In his name I ask. Shirley
Thank you Shirley!
We all make mistakes. It's called experience. That makes us smarter (In most cases. Some people never learn). Thanks for sharing your back story.
Thank you Nancy!
You've endured some nasty weather, with lessons learned a painful way. But a "Strong Wind" has brought you to where you are. Starting over using the knowledge gained is a good thing.
Absolutely Sherry!
Best wishes to you today and for your future!
Learning, working hard and enjoying life. It is all good!!!
😃👍🏻
We don't know, what we don't know, till we know it. We live, we learn, and we grow each, and everyday. There will sadly, always be haters sitting in judgement, hiding behind a screen, yet am sure they, like the rest of us, have made their share of mistakes as well. Keep doing what you do, and keep on being you. You are doing a good job. Stay safe, be well, and stay blessed.
I appreciate that Beth!
Keep up with the good work, don't let the naysayers get you down.
Thanks Carl!
Noah I'm sorry to hear of the hardship of your journey . But sounds as if you have learned a great deal from it. So with that being said I've watched your videos and you have alot of support on your side . Best of luck Noah. Darlene from Ohio 🇺🇸❤️❤️❤️🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thank you Darlene!
THANK YOU FOR NOT GIVING UP ON YOUR DREAM111 I am a great great grama and I love every moment you give us,. These beautiful animals truly bring peaceful feelings May the good Lord bless you for your love of one of his choice creations. Love to you and your family.
Thank you June! I appreciate that!
Your family has gone through a lot, but it’s good to see that you have not given up on your dream. There will be great things in your future
Thank you James!
Noah, as an elderly person, I know we all make a lot of mistakes in our life. The important thing is that we learn from them. I think it sounds like you have learned quite a bit in those 10 years from your early twenties to your thirties. You have found what you want to do in life, which is something a lot of us never settle on all of our life, and that is another big learning opportunity, and I’m thinking you are up to it and are going to enjoy it. You have a lovely ranch and a great start to your herd, so enjoy and experience!
Thank you Renee!
Noah, most folks today have no idea of what goes into ranching / farming. The cost is astronomical high. You did what you needed to.due for your livestock and family. We learn from everything we do. Keeping going strong. Happy to see God is blessing you and your passion for the American Bison.
Thank you so much!
Noah…That was a sad but great story of perseverance! There will always b ignorant people who can sit back and think they know it all and lash out! This is ur story and u did what you needed to do. The main thing is u followed ur heart, worked incredibly hard to get where u are now!! One can clearly see those beautiful animals mean the world to you and you take such excellent care of them! Love ur channel & know u will succeed. Keep ur head held high, u deserve it❣️❣️❣️❣️👍😊
Thank you so much Glenna!
Thanks for sharing your story! Sometimes that's how we learn. God bless you and your family! 🇺🇸
Thank you Janice!
Growing pains. Life is a learning experience.
Absolutely!
Live and learn sending a little prayer your way
Thank you Mary!
I subscribed. Just saw this video today. My heart goes out to you. Keeping you and your family in my prayers.
Thank you so much Donna!
Don’t worry about what others say. You and your wife have a lot of courage to make such changes. Being young and starting out in life is hard enough. God bless you and your family. Thanks to Peter Cole.
Thank you Kim!
Life happens. We learn from our mistakes hopefully. Good luck and God Bless.
Thanks Val!
It's called trial and error always start fresh. I enjoyed the videos of the Bison herd.🤔😎
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing the back story! I had no idea you had that “past.” That is life - living and learning….
You are very welcome!
Good Evening to Broken Arrow Bison and all others too. They grow so fast. Happy Sunday everyone Stay safe. God Bless You
Happy Sunday!
You did the right thing. Don't second guess yourself. Farming livestock is not for the faint of heart. At the end of the day you know you created the new ranch from ground up yourself, and you don't owe anyone anything. People on tubeu love to criticize, judge, and hate - very toxic. I love bison. Trust yourself.
Great video Noah. I'm glad you kept your dreams of owning bison again. I hope this is the start of amazing journey to have a massive herd.
Thank you, me too!
I have to commend you for not throwing in the towel. I live in 🇨🇦 & I watch a KZhead show called Cross Timbers Bison & his name is Dusty Baker & he has about 2-300 animals. He lives in Oklahoma, I don't know how far that is from you but I'm sure if you had any questions he would be happy to answer them. I'm not geographically inclined. Good luck on your endeavors
I knew someone would say something about Dusty. He is a great Bison rancher. Started like Noah and had grown a nice size herd. Dusty Baker. Look him up.
You don't owe us an explanation as to what happened before because it is none of our business in the first place. I'm sure many of us can say we made some bad decisions in life so who are we to judge. My grandma told me when I was young that when you mess up, it isn't a mistake, it's a learning experience, but if you make the same thing again, that is when you screwed up. Thank you for being so honest and humble in telling us your story. It's obvious how much you love your family and your bison. God bless you, Noah, and your family.
Thank you Dianna!
I admire your candor. It isn't easy to tell the whole story, but most appreciated by many, I'm sure.
Thank you!
Hey, I think Congratulations are in order!!!!! From nothing to something, that guts and determination ! Way to go!!!!!!
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your Prequel .. it was a string of tragic events which has delivered you to these happier days .. I am amazed how ridiculously young you were owning a ranch in your early 20s .. you can easily multiply your herd over the next 40 years but 60 acres ain't gonna cut it .. lol
Thanks Michael!
They seem like pets, they are so calm. Good for you, Jason, pay no attention to the haters. Practice makes perfect. :-)
Fun animals to raise!
Thank you for your honesty. I am fairly new to following you so I didn't know the backstory but I'm grateful that you give Glory to God for it and that you are thankful because it has made you wiser. It's unfortunate that people have harsh comments. None of us are perfect and we don't always make the right choices in life but the main thing is learning from the mistakes and moving forward but also sharing those experiences with others so that it can help them as well. You have done all this and remain humble. Well done. I have been subscribed to your channel. I have a special place in my heart for Bison.
Thank you so much Bonnie! That means a lot!
Thank you for sharing your story! As others have said we all make mistakes but how we handle the opportunities afterwards is what is important. Keep up the good work. I enjoy your channel.
Thank you Donna!
None of us grow without making mistakes and picking ourselves up to try another day. I'm in my 60s still making mistakes in someone's eyes. Remember this..we are all only given one life. It's up to you to choose how you want to live yours...no one can make you happy but yourself. It takes a real solid man to admit when he's wrong and not blame others for those choices. Your moving forward, so don't let others tell you differently. If you see a negative comment ignore, delete,, and move on. It doesn't take any courage to sit behind a keyboard typing out nasty comments. Blessings to you and your family.
Thank you for the kind words!
For those who give you grief the saying goes 'Walk a mile in my shoes'. Stay strong and enjoy your lives.
Thank you Carol!
It takes a strong and a humble man to admit that some bad choices and bad circumstances required you to make adjustments. I know that it is important that I stay within reach of most of my kinfolk in North Carolina. I think you saw the strength in coming back to Kansas. I commend you for coming back even though you were starting from zero it makes you a stronger person. We can only see what is on this side of the fence(earth) God can see much further and it may take us longer to see his vision clearly.
Absolutely. Thank you James!
We all learn from our past. It’s getting back up, and trying again which makes you stronger. God Bless to you, your family, and your animals.
Thank you Audra!
This was not easy for you I am sure. Thank you for the back story. Your love for these animals come thru on each video. God Bless.
Thank you!
Don’t let mistakes keep you down. Just move on and do better. Glad to here you say God works everything out. Praying for you.
Thanks for your support Shirley!
Ignore the people who have sent nasty remarks. You are doing a awesome job. Thank you for everything you do. May God bless you and your family 🙏
Thank you so much!
I am Australian, and I love to hear a young person admit straight up when they are wrong znd the show they have learned from the experience..Good luck to you and your family Noah..God Bless.I have subscribed and will continue to follow your journey.Love from Australia.
Thank you so much Louise!
So sorry you had to go through all that. I always believe things happen for a reason, and you will be stronger for it. Thank you for sharing, that must have been very hard to do.
I believe you’re right, things do happen for a reason!
Good for you. We all make mistakes. Just keep working toward your goals. God Bless!
Thank you James!
Know ,worked with my dad 20 + yrs before I notice how dam smart he was !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good information. Study talk to people in the industry before you start. A mistake a lot of young people make but you come beck stronger and on a more solid footing. 💖
Thank you!
For what its worth, I learned a lot from this video, Im 21 years old and looking to get into bison ranching but I’ve been trying to eliminate as many financial liabilities as possible, this video was a huge help- I’ll be sure to learn from it. Thank you.
That’s awesome to hear Ben! I wish you all the best!
Wow you sure had it rough . We all have had it rough one way or another. So happy for you and your family. You sure have come back strong. God bless you. Love your videos.
Thank you Donna!
We bought “blank” land. Took almost 20 years to get in all the infrastructure - house, shop, barn, fencing, water, electricity, roads, ponds. Had to clear it before we could even get started. You are still very young. You did the right thing getting out of debt. You will be fine.
Thank you for the encouragement! Sounds like you all put in a lot of elbow grease!
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
You do you and don't worry about what people say, you know what is good for you and your family, we learn from are mistakes and as long as we learn it is worth it ,God will always be there just trust him
Thank you Jackie!
If we only knew then what we know now. Slow and steady wins the race. Turtle tells us this. You got this.
Thank you Eva!
Just watched your video on Why I sold all of our Bison. That was quite the journey of loss and growth personally and professionaly. Love your humble approach and honesty. I watch you often and enjoy watching. 8 years ago I visited my son who was stationed at Fort Sill in Lawton Oklahoma. While there we went out into the rural goverment land and saw the Buffalos/Tonka. So the interest was started there. I wish you all the success you work for and then some. You have a family that has been on video a few times mostly your little one. Thanks for sharing . Tom in Minneapolis
Thank you for your support Tom!
I'm so sorry y'all went through this. Losing the animals is gut wrenching. I grew up on my grandmother's stories as told by her grandmother about buffalo. We learn from past failure & new experiences. Now you're rebuilding. You are committed & dedicated. I think your heart is fully into building your herd. I think your going to do well. 🦬
Thank you so much Jean!
There is by far more wise men who learned by hard knocks and blows, than those who spent their lives attending school. If you can learn from your experiences, your on the right road to success.
Thank you!
So sorry to hear of your troubles. No, it isn't a failure. It's a great life lesson. You'll bounce back in a few years. Enjoy the peace right now. You all deserve it.
Thank you Susan!
So glad your helping preserve a great American icon.
Thank you Mary!
Kudos that you have "grown" in life, experiences, ups/downs. May God direct your path & bless your efforts!
Thank you! It sure is a learning experience!
I have also had to learn the hard way with some things. One of the biggest lessons is that you have to be on the bottom looking up to truly respect the journey. You have such a wonderful story of perseverance that really needs to be shared. You’re a good man Noah, trying to do the right thing for your family. Unfortunately there is not a whole lot of grace in people these days, but it’s not their grace you need. You hit it right about the mercy and grace of God, that is all you need. The rest will fall into place.
Thank you so much!
We all go through hard times but you didn’t give up your passion with the Bison. Your right that God does work everything out according to his plans. I love the videos you bring to us and I wish the you and your family the best.
Thank you Diane!
Often wondered about your prior farm’s backstory - live and learn! Thanks for sharing! It’s behind you and you are stronger! Watch the debt, and build a reserve for a rainy day! Takes a big man to share one’s missteps! Great channel!
Thank you for your support!
@@BrokenArrowBison gotcha back, BAB! Great channel and honest, humble man!
Hi, glad yall are ok! There's a young man who started from scratch, go to cross timber bison!...he's had ups and down's too, was introduced to an awesome vet and some great bison people who are willing to help others get started. Go talk to him, really nice guy! Only thing I notice is you seemed to dive into everything all at once, and get overloaded. This go, slow down, stick to bison first, talk to good bison people, after things are more stable, and you've had time to learn more about bison, maybe you can add another animal...Maybe get a SMALL garden going...hang in there, it takes time to learn new things!
Yep, Dusty is a great guy! I appreciate your support!
Thanks for being so open. You were young with a family and needing to make a living A lot of pressure for a young man. Your wife’s uncle sounds like a good man. Glad you were able to come home and start over. Thanks for sharing your journey
Thanks for your support Sharon!
@brokenarrowbison hope secular work has become more stable for you. That is what we went thru in our early days. Husband was a hard worker but first in the aircraft manufacturing sector and then after teachers college in the education sector. Hard on a family. You have a good handle on the bison. I follow Dusty and know what a kind thing you did for him. I also follow Black Acre Bison. He might have more bison than you do but has a lot of learning to do
The last 2 years The company I worked for was losing customers so we worked 27-36 hrs. a week. rough going but I made it! Don't ever give up on your dream. Bless Your Family.
I understand where you’re coming from. That’s rough!
Listen we all go through struggles But you have shown great resolve. 👍
Thank you Lindy!
man we all need to start over at times .but you have persevered good on you !!!
