Casio is the “Glock” of the watch world 🌎. An, I’m a fanboy 😅👍🏼
That calculator watch was a huge help during my primary school exams in the 80s.
LMAO, legendary watch
Legal ?
Same for me but for middle school in the 00s! I just took it out again after over a decade, never changed the battery, lost a lot of time still works perfectly.
I would recommend using the term affordable over saying cheap. Casio makes watches very well and isn’t often seeking the cost cutting measures that the term cheap implies. When folks think value, they think affordable. Where cheap makes it seem like corners were cut. Offering many models at many prices, Casio remains one of the best choices around. I love the lists, keep ‘em up!
potato , potato
In my opinion Casios are the best watches on earth. Expensive Swiss watches are more like an ornament and only insane rich can afford to make a collection and they are also not very accurate and in the words of a watchmaker expensive watches are not for checking time they are to show off money you have. Casios are the best watches for a man of 21 st century who wants to enjoy wearing a robust yet most accurate watch. By the way all automatic watches time and date is set by looking at an accurate watch and Casio is king of quartz.
The problem with calling a Casio "affordable" is that so many KZheadrs and other watch enthusiasts call >$1000 watches "affordable." It's an entirely subjective term.
@@rangersmith4652 but still can you get such quality in this price ? So I think it's super affordable brand with high quality
@@WaqasAhmad-wz2wm My point relates to using the term "affordable." To Jeff Bezos, an 18K gold blue-dial Rolex Daytona is "affordable." To a student making his or her way through night school working two jobs, a $20 Casio might be the high-end of "affordable." In short, watch KZheadrs should probably stop using the click-baity term; rather, they should state the price range to be addressed up front. Many do this, many do not.
Funniest thing about casio: they are extremely affordable individually, but once you are addicted (and you will be), it sums up^^
they're like toyotas of watches.. they are generally affordable but highly reliable
I've got four already and I want more lol

Yep. I have nine F-91ws. All different colours.
Hi, my name is ______ and I'm a Casio watch addict. (True story: I have a bin of them in my closest and the scary thing is the wife is okay with it!)
i had a few casio analog watches, and all of them had perfect alligned second hands. thats realy impressive, because no other watchcompany seams capable of doing this, even for much more expensive quartz options. for the price, you can't go wrong with Casio
Casio is the best budget- mid ranger watch company
I've heard that waveceptors are really accurate
Even my cheap 10$ Casio MDV 200H has a perfectly aligned second hand, how awesome is that?
Great overview vid! You definitely introduce several lesser-known Casios for us to consider. Casio has put out some great models over the years, every collection needs a few.
This man should be sponsored by Casio

Well done
My Casio Lineage LCW-M100 TSE just arrived from Japan yesterday! I remember watching your video on it more than a year ago and ever since that was the watch I was seeking because of you... You're the best in watch reviewing, keep it UP!
I recently purchased the Casio Edifice EF-121D-1A for under $50 US. I have absolutely fallen in love with it. Great looking watch and fits my 6 1/2 inch wrist perfectly.
What a great coverage, your enthusiasm is catching! this video was a real eye opener, Thanks Ben!
I recently purchased a Casio Edifice EFR-526 as a gift for someone, this thing has 100m of water resistance, a chronometer function and an incredible finish all for only $94. At that price this thing was an absolute steal.
This is the first time that I've come across and learned about the existence of Casio Beside. My goodness, that timepiece is a work of art

Ben, this video took me right back to getting my fist f-91 as a kid. Ordered the a700 and it arrived this morning. Can’t stop looking at it, it’s absolutely wonderful. I’m a mechanical watch guy but this will be getting some serious wrist time. Thanks so much for the inspiration!
One of the best introductory to Casio. Thumbs up Ben
I collect Casio for a few reasons. Nostalgia is one reason. I was a kid in the 70s when digital watches first appeared. They were like nothing we'd seen before. Anyone under the age of 50 won't understand how amazing they seemed to us. I also love the fact that you can use them and not worry. Isn't that the whole purpose of a watch? If I owned a luxury watch I'd never wear it because I'd be too afraid of damaging it. The other reason is cost. People are spending more on luxury watches than I spend on my cars. It's madness. And who wants to wait years between purchases? I can buy a Casio every month and it's not a problem. It's so much fun opening a new box and seeing your latest acquisition. I specialise in the vintage style digitals.
This is an amazingly informational video, great production value, just the right amount of side tracking(Interesting and fun without bullshitting), nice voice, good mix of objective/subjective.
Been waiting for this video. Casio is by far my favorite brand.
Nice video Ben, keep them coming ! I bought the Edifice EFV-100 as my everyday watch (after your review) and I think its fantastic, if only it had sapphire would be bargain of the century. Great Casio round up. Would love to see a Citizen, Timex, Seiko etc round up if you get the chance.
Superb, informative, honest and reliable review. Cheers Ben!
FREAKING LOVE A CASIO! You knocked this out of the park!
Your lighting is 🔥 🔥
Yay another Ben's Watch Club Casio video! The "classic square design from the late 1980s" - the Gshock came out in 1983! And that DW-5000 was clearly a ruggedized watch in the style of 50 other Casios that had been out since the late 1970s. Many digital watches at the time looked like this. Look at the first digital watch ever from 1972 - the Hamilton Pulsar P1. That inspired a generation. About 2 years ago those BEM-SL100D watches were listed all over eBay for around $60 - $80. There were like 50 of them. One well seen youtube video and they were gone a month later. One whole category of inexpensive Casios that you should look at are the resin analog watches. The MRW-200 is insanely popular and really durable. The MQ-24 series, which I think is the *most* popular Casio in Japan. The MRW-210 and MW-240 are the larger alternatives to these two watches. Then there are the many Casio "Forester" watches, plastic analog watches that come with nylon/leather straps and a light. There's a dozen variations of the FT-500 and FT-600.
Bought the Edifice after watching your review and I love it! Wear it to work every day and often get compliments, thank you for bringing it to my attention!
I'm so impressed with the designs and craftsmanship of the Sapphire, Edifice and Beside line of Casio. Great job with the review!
Glad to see my sgw100 thrown with the bunch. A perfect companion for more than 10 years. Paid like $50 at Walmart and changed the fabric strap just once
Finally! A-500 world time! I got it to celebrate the end of 2020, my favorite retro small Casio model!
Could not agree more! I did not like the bracelet much (hair nipper) so I lightly modded the case by lightly “sanding” it (brushed effect) and put it on a rubber strap (from CA-53W)
My world time is the AE-1000H
Bought one a couple of years ago. Still one of my favourites.
Thank you for your effort. Having access to these lists of different Casio watches you are helping us to have an affordable option/chance to adquire one good watch for any type of use. Thank you!. Saludos!!
Great video Ben, tempted by a few of these and some I hadn't heard of. Cheers!
Ben I seriously want your top 7 affordable casio watches of all time. Thanks Criteria: 1. They have to be totally 7 unique models (meaning you can't include similar models with different colour scheme). 2. They have to be thin, lightweight, compact and overall comfortable to wear. 3. Good looks and functionality a must for everyday use. 4. List should primarily focus on affordable watches (under 50 pounds or definitely under 70). Eagerly waiting for your reply (can make a video) as I have decided to buy few casio watches for myself.
That AQ230 is incredible. Absolutely love the way it looks. Ordered! You've made me buy 2 watches in 2 weeks Ben 👍

Hello, im thinking of buying it, is the digital screen weird for a stylish watch like that?
@@Mika-jx1wt It looks great in the gold colour I bought. I love that watch, wear it occasionally!
Great overview; and love the pace of the video
Love your stuff, Ben! Still trying to find a W-86 though. Great choices here.
Excellent video, thanks for showing some models I wasn't aware of. It's quite fascinating how many cool models (and far from only digitals) Casio have. And often very affordable. And I've mentioned this before, but I really hope young people learn about your channel and realise that there so many good alternatives to crappy overpriced instagram fame fashion watches. You've done great job with that in several videos.
Nice one Ben looking forward to collecting mu husbands A700. Keep Safe!!
I have owned a number of Casios over the years. Currently I have two of the best Casio watches that I have owned (in their respective price range). I have always been a Casio fan, but these two watches have made me fall in love with the brand. Here is a brief overview of why I love my current Casios: 1. G-Shock G9000 Mudman ($80) a. All the timekeeping bells and whistles for a digital watch. b. Mud resistant. c. 200m water resistance. d. Electro-luminescent backlight. e. One of the smaller dial G-Shocks. f. Built to survive armageddon. 2. Edifice (EQB-800BL-1ADR) ($200) a. Though Solar. 5 months reserve even when using all functions. b. Black dial and body with silver markings and deep red accents. Matching leather strap. The depth of dial is beautiful. Brilliant finish. c. Seconds hand alignment that puts others in this price range to shame. d. Multi dial (day, battery level, one World time display with AM/PM indicator) e. Retrograde dials. f. No manual adjustment to date and time required. Bluetooth controlled. g. 100m WR. h. Chronograph with lap times, alarm, etc. i. Smart Power saving. Servings hand stops moving in dark, when battery is low, it moves every two seconds.
LOVED this video!!! I do enjoy nerding over Casios!
Excellent video! Could think of a few others that could be added to the list, but you covered alot of good ones.

Been using a w-800 for about a year now because of work, and I am super impressed with how it's held up over this time for a 20 dollar watch. It's been dunked in water, scratched and scuffed, covered in paint, cement, and chlorine, and it still works perfectly with no issues. The only part that's given me any trouble is the strap is starting to wear out so I might need to give that a replacement.
I replaced mine with original AE-1000W-3A strap. Looks better imo, is tougher and more comfortable
Dear Ben, this is one of the best videos you ever made! I just updated my Amazon Wishlist :D
I’ve bought an mtp 1370-D thanks to this video and I must say that it’s an absolute stunning timepiece! It lives up to the aesthetics.
I think the Casio EFV-120DB-1AVUEF deserves a place on this list as well. It’s currently my daily driver. It has the same dial and size as the EFV-100D-1AVUEF but adds a rotating bezel and omits the polished links in the bracelet. Gives it the look of a tool watch. BTW I’d love to see a review of the Casio Oceanus OCW-T200S-2AJF somewhere in the future. To me it represents the pinnacle of Casio watches.
Although not as affordable as these others ($500 or so), the Oceanus (in my opinion) is the top notch casio watch. I have an Oceanus ocw2100 and it is incredible value. Solar powered, radio signal, titanium case, sapphire, 100m of WR, and a world time compilation (that auto sets using radio signal) and a date window. Sized up for my wrist it weighs 80 grams total. So light weight, comfortable, and the titanium is highly scratch resistant and finished extremely well
OCW2100 or did you mean OCW S100?
Amazing video mate, will definitely be picking up a few of these
Watched your video last night, fell in love with the Casioak S108D..now I’m wearing it today 😂
Hey Ben! Love your videos and I’ve found gems through your videos for my personal collection. A watch I would like you to have a look at it is casio edifice efr 527l which looks and feels more premium and with that panda dial colour way gives the aesthetic of Rolex daytona! Another alternative to it can be edifice efr 526l-7avudf. Keep the good work going man! Cheers 🍻
I put a Casio AE-1200 bracelet on my A-500. Both are 18mm and it’s a perfect fit to the case. Great upgrade.
I have the AE-1000H
Great quality videos, really pleasing to watch. Looks like commercial advertising videos, your videos are in that higher level of quality and very informative as well. Keep it up Ben. Cheers. Love to watch these types of quality videos as I love watches. 👍

Glad to see my daily beater watch the dw5600 is on this list. It's basically a recreation of the original g shock with better parts. Absolutely indestructible, I'm a construction worker and i even had it submerged in concrete and this thing keep soldering on.
I don't wear my DW-5600 to work because I like when my watch looks nice and clean (Im a car mechanic)
Great video that’s certainly got me looking at some alternatives I already have a royale and will probably have to get a duro too but I liked the look of the alternative diver you showed. Thanks 😊
Thank you so much for this video. Great line up and reviews.
Got the well acclaimed Edifice model you went on about in one of your videos... Superb watch. Stunning in the light
Same here. I got the 41mm, love it.
I have had a stainless Casio Edifice EFD-100 for almost 20 years; even back then it was so hard to find a decent digital steel watch with a clear uncluttered design, and I've become ridiculously attached to the thing!
Such an incredible catalogue. Thank you for this video, I learned a lot! Now to go away and do more research.
Thanks for another great video Ben! Can't get enough of Casio. Love the A500, might be my next one. Would be great if you can check out the 'fairly' affordable Casio G-Shock AWG-M520-1AJF too!

Thanks Jot!
Channel is fairly new but is racking up LOTS of subs quickly. Congrats Ben!
I like that you used Cypher as the background music :)
Thank you for listing the model numbers below with ready links. Appreciate it
Lovely video, thanks for taking into account the size for big / small preferences, I tend to see most aimed at bigger watches which I don't personally like, so this felt well balanced
I have a feeling this is going to be a popular video over the next couple of years. Analogue Casio's are some of my favourites, because I never liked the digital very much.

This is a total professional video. Why haven’t I found this channel before? All hail Casio!!! I’ve been wearing them since the 80’s.
what a great video. Fantastic shot and edit!
Nice review of the Casio range. I have a Lineage LCW-M100 and couldn't be happier. The value is off the charts with solar, world wide atomic radio sync, titanium, sapphire crystal, ana-digi with day/date perpetual calendar, timers, stopwatch, alarms, world time, LED and lume, and standard lugs allowing swapping the band, all for around $200. For me it's the best time keeping instrument available for design and features at any price.
I think my issue with that module is the setting. Using the same button for setting and reset and not being able to go up and down. Ideally needs 4 buttons IMO
@@Awkwardfruitfly I almost never use the buttons. The timer, alarm and stopwatch functions are not useful to me, and since it auto syncs with atomic time for me there's almost never a need to use the buttons after the initial setup. The only one I may use is for the LED but even that's rare. I would prefer 4 buttons for symmetry if nothing else, but given all the other features of this watch that's a very small nit to pick.
Agree. I use it as my office watch.
Brilliant. Love Casios great list.

I've got numerous of casios all over 10 years now, but this one has always stood out. I even have a Casio with a battery thats over 15 years now, all original. A legendary brand, and god tier one for sure.
Had an f91. It was incredibly difficult to destroy. Unbelievably fantastic timepiece. 2 thumbs up.
Good video man. I was into watched years ago and recently have re-peaked my interest of sub $200 watches and this list is excellent. Casio is an OG of the watch world. I’ve also been looking into some Seiko & Orient watches as well. Those will be my top three brands for now. Feel free to drop suggestions anyone. Cheers!
Casio G-Shock GW 5610, Citizen NY0040, Seiko SNKL45, Orient Bambino
I've been using f91-w since 2019 , haven't taken it off my wrist ever since i bought it. It stood the mud, water and shocks during my training. I shower with it and it still works and it's only Water resistant !!!
Absolutely correct on the discontinued model. When I first saw a review last week, I was ready to buy one.
Casio G-Shock watches are my go-to watches (I have 5 of ‘em, including the DW-5600) and, like you, never knew some of these ever existed. Truly appreciate you sharing this list.
MTP-1370 -> the watch with the WORST possible pics at any retailer, yet one of the BEST looking in real life! It's absurd how easy it is to miss this watch when browsing... I'd recommend the blue-dial one! Another hidden / dirtcheap gem -> MTP-1200A! I DARE YOU to find a cheaper watch with actual sapphire crystal
Casio often claims their battery life would last for 10 years. But they lied to me and give me 11 (yep, eleven) years and 3 months. Casio is what i would call, benevolent god.
u had me in the first half, not gonna lie
I got 12 years on my Citizen Chronograph with Solar
I had a casio with a 7 year battery life. No bullshit- 15 years later it was still working. Incredible.
@@MichaelandCathy1999 But that's solar powered. My citizens don't last 4 months in the watchbox before they die and require charging. A Casio will run for 15 years+ if left in a drawer
Same here on a tough solar Casio. But sourcing the replacement rechargeable battery locally is impossible in many regions of the world. So at first glance, solar is not even worth it compared to the 10 year battery. But you get much better illumination with solar and you can use it as much as you like. Just something to be aware of.
Since I find your Chanel I m in love with Casio haha 😂 and I like how you talk about watches! Very cool Chanel Ben !
I bought the A700 after seeing you video and i have been in love with it for the past 3 months, it's a plastic watch which doesn't lose its shine
Got my GW-B5600 and haven’t looked back. I’ve grown to love G-Shocks so much! It’s nice to know it’s durable, solar-powered, and looks so simple, yet tasteful. Now I’m kind of excited to see all the new Casio variants that I’m probably gonna pick up in the future. Great video!!! ☮️
I wish they made. A version with easier to press buttons
@@HomerIncognito I’m right there with you! I had to get used to it over time and now it’s almost second nature for me to navigate the button layout
Casio W-86 or F-105W are the best watches for postman in UK. Indestructible, comfortable, battery last long, low profile so it doesn't catch on anything during manual labour, and illumination for that dark close.
Excellent job, Ben.
Thank you for this highly informative video, best Ben!
WOW! Great vid! Too bad one of my favorite Casios didn't make the list. It happens to be the WVQ-M410. It gives you the 100% analog look with a chronograph and timer right on the face. It also is Tough Solar with the Multiband 6 Wave Ceptor. Also with the WT function as well. No light, but does have a great lume on it. It also has an alarm.
the problem with the Casio Linage watch is the 3 buttons. Makes it very annoying to set. You cant go up and down when setting things. Sounds pedantic but makes a difference
Great selection Ben, thank you.
Very good video. I love it dude!

interesting round-up of casio watches. love it.
Our 2 year old once found my f-91w in a drawer and did not want to give it back. Calls it his „beep beep watch“ and loves it more than most of his toys. ... i have bought a second f-91w and hide the rest of my collection a bit better now.
heheheee.. so cute

Even nowdays kids know how great the Casio watches
AQ-230 is pretty much my dress-y watch, even though its dirt cheap. But that hands are pain in the butt to set.
