We used a $12 forged I Hook and an existing 4x6 fence post. Super Easy!

  • Thank you. SIMPLE, profound, under all our noses. Natural but not necessarily on our radar. Cheers

  • There are probably 100+ videos on here for bending rebar.. all of these time consuming, fancy gadgets. This is the best one of all!! Thanks you guys!!

  • I just spent the day bending 330 bars with this method minus the pipe on top I just used gloves and grabbed the rebar. The pipe trick would of probably saved me a lot of strain 😂😂

  • Geez, We should've done a video like this. We were bending all kinds of materials like this for years. Now that we have all the proper bending tools, we bearly use them.

  • Awesome! So glad I found this omg!! I came here cause I am planning a large faux rock waterfall and grotto and built a concrete "rock" bench and garden retaining wall but used a wood frame to build the structure. But.... I should really use rebar but have NO idea how to bend it. I thought huh, she's a chick, too! If she can do it so I can I :D I could totally do this myself! Thank you :) Would love to see the finished project.

    • Justine Jackson yay!!!! You rock (pun intended 🤣)! And I love to hear about another woman who loves to get her hands dirty. I totally have dropped the ball on the fountain video! I will make sure to make time to make that this week! I love my fountain! Currently I’m chipping away tile in our master bath! Good times! Good luck on your projects!

  • Genuis. I was changing blades on my riding mower & could not break free the factory nuts. Using a foot long wrench and even hitting with a hammer didn't work, I knew I needed a cheater bar but had nothing that'd fit over the wrench. I looked around my garage till I saw my 16" hitch extender! It was all I needed to crack the bolts loose easily. I'm not even sure why I have an 16" hitch extender but I'll keep as the best breaker bar ever.

    • Mukesh Jaiswal - We literally just went to our local box warehouse store and looked around for a possible solution. Because of that, I do not have link to share unfortunately. But the important thing you need to know (and look for) is it was a FORGED eye hook. That way, it will hold up when putting a lot of pressure on it. Hope that helps!

  • If that forges eye snaps because of the bending force (the eyes are only meant for PULLING - tensile [elongation]. More importantly, rebar is notorious for hard and soft spots. There is no standard except for the total tensile strength in a 21' length. If you bend on a unseen hard spot, 90 degree or more will snap: risking very serious injury. No safety glasses. No hard hat...levering right toward the top of her head / face! This is what happens with amateurs who have zero understanding of basic materials and physics.
