If you're unfamiliar with Project Winter, it's a deception game that takes place in the arctic. Survivors must work together to complete tasks in order to escape. The traitors work together to sabotage their efforts by either killing them or delaying their escape. Of course, the traitors are unknown to the survivors. The game features proximity chat, so you'll only be able to communicate with players in your immediate vicinity unless you have a radio. If you've never played or watched this game, it's a blast!

Everytime Kara claims she's good (even tho she isn't) when she's getting killed always makes me feel bad cause she sounds so upset and convincing to my ears lol
I wish they took these kind of games a little less seriously tbh. I'm glad that they play to win, but it sucks that they always seem to get frustrated if things don't go well for them - it also makes the session less enjoyable imo.

The new Ghost Bear update is interesting! I think it's cool that the ghosts can try to hurt the players who killed them but with a limited capacity to do harm. I'm also glad to see this group pop back in to this game every so often. I know it can be difficult to win what with the terrible map spawns, Truth Serums in random crates, and aggressive wildlife, but I always enjoy seeing people go wild with paranoia or working hard to achieve the task requirements before time runs out! This group is always a blast to watch, so thanks for another great vid, Ze! I can't wait to see what fun comes next-hopefully one of those custom lobbies like you mentioned!
Imagine dying only to become a ghost animal
It's actually kinda cool you can lead the living players as a ghost with the ghost animals if they get lost or something. I can't wait for the traitors to say "And I would've gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for you survivors and your meddling ghost bear!"
21:29 The Walking Dead: Betrayal game was fun, I'd love to see them play that again someday. The player controlled enemies also reminds me of Resident Evil: Resistance tbh.

17:03 I like that the Detective Investigation tells you multiple pieces of useful info, but it's random what info you get. I kinda wish Detective from Town of Us Among Us was more like this tbh.

I'd love a random Project Winter lobby! From what I recall, even a no-traitor run was possible, so might be able to get Junk back for a PvE game

@skeletonorchestra1504 I just recall Junk doesn't seem like to games with traitors in them, and has named Project Winter specifically, even asking if they could do a harder challenge to survive but without any traitors (which I think would be a fun twist from the usual PW games)
@@LeSethX Probably has to do with him not really grouping which makes him an easy target for traitors. He does tend to die often first in those kind of games due to that, so I can understand it frustrates him.
I'd love to see them play more Survivor-only games. I love Project Winter, but I'm not a fan of the acc deception aspect of the game tbh.
@@zura8879 I wish they all made an active effort to avoid grouping in deception games tbh, especially Chilled. I know that they're content creators & they like to hv fun w/ their friends in proxy chat, but grouping always makes these kind of games a lot less fun for killers (i.e. PW, AU, FCT, DH, etc).

At first I thought it was just the Traitors summoning ghost bears (like Blackout mode PW, or Thralls summoning Cannibals in Dread Hunger) - I like that they're player controlled tho since it gives ghosts more to do 21:29. I wish the ghost bears were easier to control, but I see why that could make them too strong 1:20:35. I also wish there was a variety of ghost animals players could select (i.e. wolves are faster but weaker, bears are stronger & tankier but slower, etc)

I like the ghost bears. I'm hoping that they'll alsoa encourage Traitors to go buff up instead of going for a long con bcos the bears spawning & attacking Traitors in a group of ppl would probably out them. I wonder if ghost bears can also fight other ghost bears
That's actually a very interesting way to use them, I didn't even think of that. It's a good way to put pressure on the traitors (provided Chilled or Kara aren't both traitors, the rest probably wouldn't realize what that could imply).
@@zura8879 I think now that they know what the ghost bears are they probably wouldn't attack them (especially if that's the first time they find out someone has died), which would make it easier to see that the bears are targeting specific players. Traitors would also probably put a lot of sus on themselves if they attacked the ghost bears unprovoked.

I haven’t seen Project Winter in a while! I do have a question tho, does anybody know what is the house rule is?
The house rule is no killing in the first 10 minutes I believe. Games can last a while & they don't want ppl to hv to sit out for that long.

1:20:14 I acc like the Twilight Saga tbh. The films are definitely weird/ cringey at times tho - I wish the rest of the films had been more like Eclipse & Breaking Dawn pt 2 lol, i.e. less moody, fewer cringey/ creepy scenes, more fun, more action, more exciting, etc. I'm hoping the TV reboot corrects those mistakes & turns out to be amazing.

Because each game can be up to a half an hour, the house rule is that no one kills before the 20 min mark. Guaranteed 10 mins of gameplay unless you die to wildlife or the game mechanics.
All these years later, and Ze still has the worst sense of direction. 🤦
Ngl, I both love & hate Project Winter sometimes. I love the games where they play w/ Survivors only (I wish they did that more often tbh), or where Traitors just buff up & prepare for a fight instead of doing a long con. However, I hate the games where ppl acc focus on the social deception aspect of the game - it's a lot less fun imo & usually ends up making ppl frustrated.

44:23 I fucking hate the truth serum tbh. It makes the game so fucking boring imo - I wish Chilled would stop using it.
I think it's fine, traitors can also use it to cause mistrust afterall, and it requires quite a bit of work to usually get.
@@zura8879 Literally *every time* I've seen ppl use the truth serum in their PW sessions (usually Chilled) it has ruined the game for Traitors - even if they don't get immediately killed, they hv less fun.
It's pretty difficult to get outside of the lazarus lab and they rarely use that, they also have it house ruled so you can't use it early on.
