The team were tracking a dead sperm whale that had floated onto the Atlantic Ocean seabed.

He must have felt like me when the treat is stuck in the vending machine
LoL! I knew I recognized the sound! It sounds exactly like me pounding the glass on the vending machine when the chocolate cupcake package gets caught in the spiral and won’t drop. Poor shark! It’s so frustrating!
Youre actually a funny human

wait until they learn to shake it to make the treat fall out

Shark bumps his nose on glass. Sound design team: SPHIIIOOOOSHHSHH!!!!
I just want to be a big shark just to spook divers and subs.
Yes, it's pretty stupid. Reminds me of American documentaries.
The generic raging fire sound effect lol
@@DeathtoRaiden1 , long ago USA used to have non sensationalized documentaries. Welcome to your future...
Thought that was the sound of the crew shitting themselves
Shark hits glass, Effects team- better use the Semi truck Collision ASMR.
Hahahaha xD
Hahaha! So true!
Andrew Murphy He’s right though, ASMR makes absolutely no sense here, and its not part of the joke. It’s just a very weird misuse of a term by someone who’s probably heard it but doesn’t know what it means
Edward That’s...part of the joke. It’s also what that sound effect is labeled for its video clip
Psst. The sound they used at 1:33 is the DooM II final boss spawn cube sound effect. : kzhead.info/sun/icxynt6unnyPeac/bejne.html
When the blood came out of the sharks gills.....
Makes sense but it was really cool anyway
Yeah it’s just what it does, like how a shark rolls it’s eyes into the back of its head so it doesn’t get any waste in its eyes, I love sharks, they’re so fascinating.
@@freshpeanut4967 thats really interesting , can you tell me why did they do it while bumping the sub?
Anibal Matheus G I’m not an expert, but I’d assume when they put pressure on their faces, the blood is pushed out of their gills. It’s either that, or it’s just blood being exhaled after it got caught while the shark was sucking water in.
@@freshpeanut4967 no no , I meant why did eyes rolled up when they bumped the sub.
Alternate phrasing: Submarine crew gets head bops from stoned sharks

Really no chance of that happening. If it can withstand the force and pressure of 1000 meters of water, then it can withstand some small bumps here and there
That gave me chills. I can’t imagine being in a claustrophobic submarine, that far down in the ocean with giant sharks bashing me around. Nightmare fuel 😨😨😨😨
I seriously fail to see how sharks attacking the sub effects anyone Since the sun won’t break lol Tbh I would love to be on that sub, it would be so cool
Lmao what do you mean, a shark can't do anything to it, it's just checking it out anyway. Not really attacking it or anything.
Exactly. Any of these factors would be enough for me to faint. Props to those saving the wildlife.
A sub can't be afraid of tight places.
@@Kpaxlol Sub windows are designed for gradual application of pressure and forces, not a ton of flesh impacting into it. You would be pissing yourself in that sub IRL.
They have such big freaky eyes.
They look like they’ve seen a sub before and are giving it the evil eye 🧿
Big freaky retractable eyes.
They way they close their eyes looks like they squished their eyeball and it's about to go to their brain lol
And it rolls! XD

I love some of those perspective shots that show the scale of the sub vs the sharks. We often don’t realize how big a 6 meter shark is from behind a phone screen. It just doesn’t do it justice.
Incredible footage, love the way they attack the sub thinking it is competition.

@PhreshFunk funny how some embrace the spin and others see right through it.
Thank you i missed that bit

Sharks be like: "Fish are friends, not food. Humans on the other hand..."
*bonk*
OMG, I wouldn't get in a submarine in the first place, but diving this deep and then encountering aggressive sharks? I would die of fear.
"I am little bit afraid" is probably the last thing I want to hear someone say, when we are 750 metres under water, surrounded by huge sharks!
The guy:I'm a little bit afraid Inner him:Oh shittt we gonna die
Agreed 😳😐😳
That dust cloud revealing the shark and then the carcass was so cinematic, it instantly reminded me of The Temple by H.P. Lovecraft. Amazing footage.
What’s more frightening is that they’re swimming and looking for food in total darkness
Sharks soon realized that the sub was not after their meal Shark: imma head out
They sound like Half Life scientists. “Stop! My goodness.”

I’m sorry I clicked on this comment. Even more sorry I took time to write this comment. Wasted my time. Dumbest comment ever. Yours. Not mine.
I love footage like this because we all know what’s going on in the world and we hear of things in space but not in our ocean I want to see more people discovering places and things like this.
We don’t actually know what’s going on in space but we do know what they lead us to believe. Imagine making a cellular call back in the sixties tech and now imagine flying to the moon with it. Lol 😂
I totally agree with you though. We need to see more of what’s here on earth which I believe is actually far more fascinating and revealing.
Except at 750 meters down 1 wrong thing happens wich is very likely to you will simply not make it back up your either gonna explode drown or get eaten
Did you see the news lately? 😂
This didn’t age well. We know enough. Let’s focus on more shallow waters.
It's saying "piss off I'm trying to eat in peace here"
Its interesting to see the deeper you go the more slowly the animals move. Even when the sharks need to snap their neck back and forth to tear the meat, it seems like they are doing it much slower than their friends up top...
they do it i'm guessing to conserve energy as food is hard to come by in such deep waters
@@joshuahandhand8959 That and other reason is pressure. Injuries are common if fish experiences rapid changes in pressure. If you have ever jumped in deep water and heard your ears pop that was because of pressure. Go too fast under the water and your ears may become injured and not just pop. Same for these sharks. While they are adjusted to the pressure if they move too fast their organs could become injured.
I feel like the weight of the water slows them down. Even on the surface you can’t move as fast underwater as you can on land.
@@flowerfaerie8931 The pressure is greater in deep water but deep water doesn't directly affect the movement of fish, submarines etc any differently than shallow water.
@@TheSanezu That's NOT at all how water pressure works at all, the pressure increases from depth, not how quickly you move, that makes zero sense. They very much do move slower because of the extreme pressures the lower you go, but that's a function of the pressure itself, not avoiding injury.
Every time I see those sharks hit the glass, I hear the Homer Simpson “Dow”!😂
lolll Taylor gang I can hear homer and bart taunting the sharks from inside the submarine saying “Come on sharkey you call yourself the king of the jungle!”
I think that’s called schizophrenia 🤔
Sea doggo was giving the sub a boop with his snoot

I've played enough Resident Evil to know where this is going.
Need to send Chris redfield down there to punch them to death
“Im a little bit afraid”…thats like a european classic
The shark's like "Y'all want Jaws I'll show you Jaws" 🦈. Great video 👍👍
Those sound effects edits when the shark touches the window 😂
The shark’s eyes almost seem unreal.
Now imagine your saturation diving at 700 meters in a diving suit surrounded by complete darkness walking through 2 feet of thick mud with those things lurking in the shadows all around you
This is one of my favourite behind the scenes events ever. Imagine being inside that sub when not one but FOUR TWENTY FOOT LONG, SIX TO EIGHT FEET WIDE Sharks are in a feeding frenzy (all be it a slow one) just outside your window!! Then they BANG on the glass😱 750km from the surface! Here’s a trick I like to use when watching any nature show for myself and now my kids. Take a tape measure, always have one handy - or know the dimensions of your rooms and actually walk out 20’. It puts things into perspective when you start to feel flippant about the guys in shark cages or wrangling crocodiles! It’s especially awesome when you go outside and mark out just how big a Blue Whale is. Seeing the ACTUAL dimensions as opposed to just hearing numbers or pictures of little men or buses next to an animal in a diagram.
750 kilometres?!?
@@nickellison2785 - lol - meters sorry 🤣 they weren’t through the earths core or anything 😅
Editors: Better use sound effects to make it more dramatic Reality.... Shark: "Who goes there?!" _bonk_
They're estimated 6 meters (19.7 ft) long. At that size, they'd weigh about 4,000 lbs. The sounds were real.
without the cartoony soundeffeckts it would be realy cool and scary
BBC: Giant sharks attack! Shark: Boop.
Submarine: beep beep boop boop Skork: CHOMPF. CRUMCH.
Nature is indeed beautiful and terrifying at once. The circle of life.
Stockholm syndrome. We can't escape this planet so we romanticize it in order to cope.
I love this clip it was nice to see more of the sub in this one though! For all those people talking about ‘sound effects’ I don’t think you understand the danger and concept of being 2300 feet underwater in a steel can when a half dozen Sharks the same length as your sub start banging into it!! If the glass cracks, just a little, the whole sub would depressurize and they would die.
When the sharks eye said 👀 I said 😳 because it scared tf outta me
This is probably the scariest footage I’ve seen. Something about being way down there with them, and seeing their scale against the whale....
I can't comprehend how in danger they were. Thank you!
That was beautiful and terrifying. Their eyes. Their eyes.
That's the definition of a Monster.

They are sluggish sharks. Must be something to do with the environment they live in
They added a crunch sound every the shark knocks on the submarine. Like a laugh track on a sitcom.
That scene through the window at 1 minute is like something from a Bosch painting. Terrifying.
