They completely ignore the biggest reason why clan wars 2 sucks which is the matchmaking it’s not going to change at all without changing the matchmaking.

This is exactly what this update is changing. Now you will go against clans that are more like your own. Which means you will face players more like yourself
Please improve your "tiebreaker" mechanics. Today a higher level player would win on the tiebreaker mechanics even if no one did any damage. This gives him the advantage to just sit back and wait it out. It would be more fair to count the total damage done. So when all towers are still up at the end of the game, the one who did the most damage (overall to all towers) wins.

Before war starts, supercell should make a button wether you want to participate or not. For example, in a 50 member clan, if only 13 members will participate, they Will matched up with other clans with 13 partipations. Sorry for my bad english.

Improvements are looking good, now all we need is to face new clans every week instead of facing the same clans for a whole month and we'll be golden. In week one we sometimes get destroyed by a juggernaut clan and then in the following weeks we just know we're going to lose over and over so it makes it a bit discouraging to play.

You guys are doing great and I’ve loved this game since it came out and it has come a long way! Thanks for all of your hard work and dedication guys! I would like to request the 2v2 in clan war battles back. I used to do all of my war prep battles in the 2v2 mode and then it just disappeared.. I think 2v2 within the clan really strengthens clan teamwork, and fighting together for the win feels a lot more like a “clan” war than when I just fight alone. P.s. I love the 2v2 challenges to! Once again I love the game and you guys rock!

My clan has a feeder clan, which is also completely full. We would cycle players in and out, getting at least 140 war participants during the one day that we do war. There would be people filing in, doing war, and getting out. It was chaotic, but kind of awesome. We finished wars in literally ONE DAY

Rip, still no “adding boat defense” bug fix. Edit: I opened a support ticket with Supercell on the issue. They said they received a lot of feedback relating the issue right after the video was posted. They said that the team is working on fixing boat defenses now.
Also after 1st week is over, if ur boat defense isn't completely destroyed you start in the next week with a broken boat Meanwhile the dude in the video thinks he fixed everything
Drew said many bug fixes will happen. This could be one but he didn’t say all the bug fixes because it would drag the video to long. They probably cover the bug fixes in the patch notes.

I only liked the first one. Where you have to collect crown chest. You just play ladder and get crowns to clan chest. Now i have to spend more time on both.

4:52 notice that on the supercell logo on the table had a legendary card logo. Meaning there is a new legendary card comming at season 18. And there shoud be tv royal on that card...

Clan Wars does need an opt out button for clan members who aren’t too active.
@@watchdominion7356 i think that would help matchmaking. if you have 45 members in your clan but ten aren't on regularly, then you might go up against another clan with 45 fully active members. That would put your clan at a severe disadvantage.

Major, major props to Supercell for listening to the player base and making these changes! It will take more tweaks I'm sure as we interact with the system but this is such a great start and it's much appreciated!!! To the players, the key is Constructive criticism. Criticising something isn't a sin, just please don't be spiteful about it. Keep it constructive and trust that the team will interact with the players and listen to you if you discuss your grievances maturely. Those are real people on the other end of our comments, and they're trying their best! I think it's super important to keep that in mind.

Are we really going to overlook the fact that we can't search for other clans unless we leave our current one? Why the hell did Supercell remove that feature? Earlier, we could search for any clan we saw or were interested in. But now, the only way we can do that is if we leave our current clan, which is not convenient. Good changes. But Even though clan match making will be improved, it's the player match making that's the main problem. What's the point if all clans are similar but the players in those clans get matched with people with higher level cards or towers? I didn't hear drew saying anything about player matchmaking. I hope it's been looked into
They'll never fix that. They make money by making players upset to the point where they start buying gems

@@mxm_prime2191 problem is they don't look at the long term. That's why the game has about 9mil players now. There used to be 50mil players in the first 2yrs. They don't care if ppl quit because they know that there r plenty of ppl who will spend to reach higher trophies.

Far cooler of a update than I expected. I try to run a casual clan 49/50 where everyone can goof off vent whatever. I have quite a few who are dedicated and complain about the war since they are such low levels. I'm a day one player same account so 4 max war decks with dozens of maxed cards to switch out I'm set but my clan have levels 7 and 8 cards for some decks. This should really balance them out I hope

Hey thanks, Supercell, for working to address the issues we were having with clan wars. It really is very much appreciated and i hope you guys dont focus too much on the negativity!
Needed these fixes a week after CW2 dropped. A lot of ppl stopped playing and many clans went dead.

It would be nice if there were level caps for clan wars so players who don’t have 3 or more full decks of maxed cards don’t have to keep playing the same decks over and over again to compete. It’s just boring.
Nope they won’t u think cr will change we all still see TOP players using pekka bride spam decks and goblin barrel same deck lol

Great they fix all the other issues besides the biggest one which is matchmaking. At this point this game is beyond saving
