She literally could have just crushed the entire gang to death if not for Noelle. They also would have been powerless against her giga form without Berdly’s help and the epic mech fight wouldn’t have happened(even with that, Queen still won the fight in the end.) King is much weaker than Jevil. But it seems like it isn’t the same for Giga Queen and Spamton NEO. Since the gang or even just Kris alone can defeat Spamton NEO on their own.

The player literally has psychic powers. They read noelles thoughts, and its clear the vessel for the players soul is kris, because he literally rips it out of his body.
I think the fact that Jevil wasn’t even trying and you don’t actually kill him makes him the strongest. You’re basically carrying him with you as he turns himself into the jevilsknife

You still make him tired, and says that there are stronger foes out there, and he mentions Queen in the same line of thought. Hell, the narrator literally says that Jevil was "pulling out all the stops" and was "truly exhausted", so yes, he was in fact, going all out, despite the common misconception. Also, Seam even says that Jevil was "a taste of what's to come", and Seam should be reliable. Hell, Seam could've been talking about the King as well for all we know, and the King is a jobber compared to Chapter 2 characters. If a Chapter 1 party could tire Jevil out, Spamton NEO (who is immensely stronger) would absolutely molest Jevil. I don't get the mentality that the fanbase has regarding Jevil vs Spamton NEO, why the hell would Jevil have more of a problem dealing with a Chapter 1 party than with Spamton? That makes literally 0 sense. Hell, Chapter 2 Ralsei can deal upwards of 140 damage to Spamton NEO, which is already enough to one shot Chapter 1 Susie, who was made out to be pretty strong back in the first chapter. Jevil failed to one shot even Chapter 1 Ralsei, even with his strongest attacks. Spamton NEO being able to casually shrug these off for as long as he did should solidify that he outscales Jevil to the point of it being laughable. Stats aren't a useful measurement system here, narrative takes merit. Bloxer might have higher stats than some Chapter 2 mook, but he says that his power level is falling behind that of the others, implying that he's weaker than his Chapter 2 counterparts.

Since stats are canon in Deltarune Spamton NEO other than Noelle is the most powerful Deltarune character. Jevil has absolutley nothing of the sort on Spamton NEO sure he is strong but in a 1v1 NEO never loses.
There should of been an "Unknown" tier in this since a lot of us don't know the full power of those like Kris, Jevil, and Queen to name a few. Especially when we either don't know their true capacity or just held back during when we "The Player" see.

Snowgrave fact: Snowgrave does nearly 2,000 damage, which is over double of Berdly’s HP, but not even half of NEO’s health. The only reason why he lost is because most of the time you get him down to 6% HP. Edit: Speaking of Berdly, even though I hate him that second fight is actual pain.

I don't know why Berdly gets SOOOOO much hate, like, he's annoying but that's what makes him funny. Berdly is one of the best characters and being honest his 2nd fight was the hardet fight in the game for me the first time i played the game taking me 4 days when snowgrave Spamton Neo took me 30 mins in the car. (though Berdly's 2nd fight taking me more than a minute now is embarrassing.) A-Tier deserved!

He might be annoying but he’s got hands, he has wind magic and masters his halberd in a great manner so much so he can actually shapeshift his weapon (and all that was mastered in less than an hour btw), top that with just excellent stats in hp, attack/magic and insane speed (reminder he gathered everyone you met In chap 2 and came to save in like 5 minutes) and you’ve got yourself a formidable fighter
Also he gets a pretty good arc

By the time you get to the Berdly fight, if you choose to use it with the ThornRing, you do upwards of 500 something damage; it's easy to imagine killing Berdly boosting it up to that number. Not to mention Iceshock ignores defense, which is why it was able to do that much even through Spamton's armor.

2 things i think you severely underranked: normal spamton because he was smart enough to get you to give him the NEO body And kris, becuase of a couple of things: 1. they can move the length of their house twice without their soul 2. they can create a dark fountain without a soul, meanwhile berdly was doing it with his soul. this maters a lot because the soul gives a huge amount of determination, so considering that, their determination with the soul rivals if not overtakes that of frisk, who was able to survive a god with their determination.
For about Spamton, this is about power, not intelligence. For about Kris, we never see they creating a fountain without soul, also DR and UT are seperate universes, so they work different
For the F1 Spamton healing thing on switch, you have to press the joystick that you don’t use for moving around. I should know, I have a switch with Deltarune on it.

I respect ur opinion, whatever i still disagree you at several things: 1. Ralsei's dummy is not a really a character, it's just a test dummy. Why it is even here? 2. I think Tasques must be on D tier, due to their stats. Tasques are comparable to Virovirokuns and superior to Rudinn Rangers, Bloxers and Head Hatties when it comes to check stats (sure, lore is more important than game mechanics but unfortunally most of minor enemies has no feats in the game so it could be make sense to compare their stats).So either Tasques must be upgraded to D tier or Rudinn Rangers, Head Hatties, Bloxers and Virovirokuns must be downgraded to E tier. 3. Mauswheels must be FAR higher on this list. Due to their in-game stats and they being capable of holding their own againist chapter 2 fun gang (even with their snowgrave stats, which makes them clearly stronger compared to normal route). They should be at least B tier, if not A. In check stats they are nearly strong as a Werewerewire and stronger than Tasque Manager. 4. Ralsei is also too low on this list. Sure, his stats are lower compared to other members of the party, but not that much. His defence is same with Kris (unless you give Kris best equipments), has slightly lower attack and lower hp than Kris. Also, you shouldn't underestimate his abilities, he can heal himself or his teammates, or all of them, can pacify enemies or make them more tired. About his feats, he has pretty decent feats. He can take a blow from Lancers' bike without an injury or something, which is powerfull to create explosions and sent away ralsei easily several meters, he is completelly fine after thrown several meters by Susie. He can also survive againist very strong attacks such as Jevil's final attack, which was powerfull enough to shake the entire jail. He can also damage Berdly's coaster car by using a fricking scarf. 5. The things u said about Lancer is kinda exagerrated. First of all, i don't even think King was serious when he said Lancer could be undamaged if he could fall from the castle, that statement is honestly pretty untrustable. Also, don't forget the fact Lancer was clearly bullied by Susie, and couldn't even manage to beat Kris and Ralsei when he had Susie on his side. I think Lancer and Ralsei should change tiers 6. Roulx does all the attacks via trash machine, those aren't his attacks, but Trash Machine's attacks. 7. I think you needed to scale Queen seperate from her giant robot. That's only my opinion
a big problem is how short the game is and how little we get to know about the characters really. we don't know how strong someone like rouxls REALLY is. we've never actually fought him. i'd like to think he's actually decently strong tho. he can teleport, float for short periods of time, and can take control of the thrash machine despite its reluctance

I mean the fact he can stay normal in other dark worlds for so much longer then lancer definitely shows hes strong in snow grave he also messed up everyone in the shop before turning to stone and in the normal route he was about to show he's real strength before turning to stone and still doesn't 100 turn l. This also means original starwalker is also one of the strongest darkners

So here's my own thoughts for specific entries: Spamton could be pushed up to C tier in my views If Spamton happened to return in Chapter 3, I could see him making (or finding) some stronger gear in the later chapters, considering Snowgrave became affordable due to finding the Thorn Ring. And if he could use the Thorn Ring (or an alternative), who knows how strong he would be with more preparation. From what I've gathered, Neo is presumably powered by an artifact, which Queen doesn't have. If Spamton Neo could take over her Giga form, Spamton could become the strongest character in the plot. Rouxls Kaard in my opinion isn't exactly a character I'd consider that powerful. Yes, with the Thrash Machine, he can be powerful, but Toby noted something with one of his unused songs, that point to him being a lot more underpowered than established: "After starting the song [Epic Rouxls Battle] though, I realized... He's not very epic at all. Feels like if he had a song like this, you'd actually be able to defeat him in one hit." And in his own fight, the battle can end in three-four turns if you know how to win his game by cornering him. Maybe in a later chapter, he could be more powerful, but at the moment, I'd move him to higher C tier, rather than lower B tier. I would push Kris above Susie, and possibly push them above King. Kris has been shown at the end of Chapter 2 to be capable of Dark Fountains in the Light World, while that hasn't been confirmed for Susie by this point in the story. On top of that, Kris is so powerful, that they've ripped out their own soul multiple times in the story, becoming strong enough to remove control from us, the soul. Lastly, I'd personally rank Queen and Giga Queen separately. It's kind of cheating to count Giga Queen as part of regular queen, if the logic of Spamton Neo being separate from Spamton due to inaccessability. She would probably still be at the top of A tier, possibly still in S tier, considering her control over several other characters, including at one point capturing Noelle (but not using her in place of Berdly), and in general having access to nearly half of the tierlist under her control.
Forgot to mention that Nubert should also be in the Triple God Tier, above Mike Sigma Pi, the Knight (Chapter 5), and the Angel.
Spamton most likely won't be very revelant as character in later character, since we had option to silence them (sweepstakes). Idk why the giga spamton sequence is even there. Rouxls kaard could be op since he had some secret power, much better puzzles, mind control and gaster color scheme. Also has general evil color scheme of deltarune. Next, Queen made it pretty clear that ANY ligtner can open a dark fountain. If only Kris could open them, ralsei probably wouldn't stress so much when berdly was about to open one.
i think you should put kris on the s tier, they had a special attack called x slash which deals a good amount of damage to enemies, not to mention that they can move without us (the soul) in their body for a decent amount of time. (which is shown in chapter 1 and 2 ending)

Kris could be high, but X-Slash is easily matched/outmatched by Rude Buster and IceShock, and being able to walk around isn't really powerful, if anything it's a disadvantage considering everyone else can walk around just fine.

okay this tier list is pretty good! the only controversial thing is kris because they can do a couple things. one, kris is the only human ever known to be able to take out their own soul and defy its power to control them, making that extremely strong, due to the power the player has in this game. two, kris can flirt and manipulate. his flirting ability usually causes certain enemies in chapter one to run away. manipulation however is something he uses on noelle in snowgrave route, when he tries to make her ”stronger”. and besides that, manipulation is a good tool in battle.

what terrifes me the most about jevil is how much he clearly is holding back he is super fast and lets people hurt him he has so many attacks and clearly can do much more he clearly is not taking the fight even kind of seriously
The only time I could think of him ever taking a fight seriously is IF MAYBE he fought someone who was attempting to take away his freedom or something because he might take losing his freedom seriously. Imagining how powerful Jevil would be if he fought seriously is a scary thought though.

Sweet Cap n Cakes is easily S tier. They are literally invincible to attacks (they do not die even when their HP drops below 0, and will immediately heal up to full with Almond Milk). Even K.Round is technically not invincible (as shown by hacking weapon damage to 1 shot him). Seam would also be S tier because he locked up Jevil by himself and seems to know everything about the world. Also, the Titans, the Knight, and Ghaster (if he exists in this game) would be the S+ tiers but we know next to nothing about them so it's hard to say.

Many of the things on the list are correct, if not most, but I think Berdly and Susie don't have the powers to open the fonts or close them, as Susie can't close the fonts like Kris can as well as open them. las , as seen at the end of each chapter making Kris a little stronger. Not to mention that there is something else making Kris open the sources, there must be some reason because he himself rips out your heart and opens the sources, Kris is not a character that is simply controllable like Frisk before the events in each chapter, he already had a life of his own and he makes his own choices in life when he's not in the dark world, he has a mother, and a brother living with him, but at the end of the day nothing takes away from the fact that Noelle is one of the strongest characters so far, I mean the strongest, Kris hasn't shown his full strength yet so this is just a theory that Kris might be the strongest

berdly goes to s tier because he can create tornados like nothing while noelle needs 5 seconds to just do a attack if you know if berdly actually wanted to really fight he would show his true power but he didn't or the game would've crashed

The reason Noelle beat Berdly is because they both didn't know what Snowgrave would do. Snowgrave took a while to cast, and berdly could easily beat Noelle in that time, because he never actually wanted to kill her, even in Snowgrave. Without us, Noelle would not stand a chance. Sure, Noelle beat Spamton Neo. But the reason Spamton Neo died was because he didn't react quick enough. He still had several seconds to react, but he still decided to keep talking to us, "Is it cold in here or is it jus me?". So basically, Noelle had the element of surprise.
How about Seam. Now im not sure about current him but back before the events of the game he was the one to initially defeat and inspersion Jevil so he should rank quite high. He must have crazy magic abilities

now then... i am wondering if you will make a theoretical tier list with deltarune characters if they ACTUALLY took a fight seriously; like for example werewerewire no longer playing around and actually wanting you dead, like... being legitimately pisaed off and no longer holding back or being overly prideful, just wanting you to die; or... the queen no longer laughing and wanting to eliminate you, jevil actually taking the fight seriously, clover going kill mode, spamton NEO analyzing and preparing beforehand to counter you and your team --possibly even Noelle herself--, Noelle actually knowing porperly how to use her ice powers completely, and possibly even fire ones, Susie actually being serious and wanting to kill --we found out that Susie doesn't really want to kill anyone if i remember correctly, she just wants to be intimidating and beat down others--.. etc.
@Chron Red another one is ralsei who does NOT to even hurt anyone , and knows many secrets of the world. heck from what we sbe shown he knows the most out of everyone in the game so far...

spamton neo wouldn't be that much stronger he is an insane salesman wearing a suit, but jevil on the other hand oh we'd lose instantly.
1. Kris's x-slash is the second strongest attack in the fun gangs arsenal, possibly making them stronger than Susie 2. Spamton Neo's [[bluelight specil]] makes them invulnerable to normal attacks 4. Ralsei is definitely the weakest member of the fun gang but not far behind Berdly and Kris in terms of stats 5. Berdly can fly
1. Kris is only capable of do this in weird route, so we don't know if Susie got a similiar new attack like this. 2. Spamton doesn't becoke completelly invulnerable to physical attacks, weird route kris can still give damage to him... Just, 20 times less compared to their normal damage againist Spamton
Ralsei CAN have the highiest damage, you just have to get the puppetscarf from spanton NEO (Not the pasifist route, you will get the dealmaker) and two fragment bowties from spanton's shop, in order for Ralsei to have the highiest damage output in the gang.
Its kinda scary, but the more I think about it, the more I think Queen actually IS the strongest Deltarune character, even without her mech. She has access to an INSANE amount of resources, manages to successfully keep control of the Cyber World, and (like lots of other people have said) never really seems to be taking anything seriously. Hell, even Jevil warns the Lancer Fan Club about her after you defeat him.
An argument for kris: in the NEO snowgrave fight, he demonstrated the X-slash; and ability that does a lot of damage for the low price of 25 TP. Now we have to take into account the fact that neo in snowgrave had negative defense. Thankfully, somebody on the deltarune discord did the math.. I won't copy paste it here but you can probably find it somewhere or do it yourself if ya want. Basically, we found that max-potential kris (kris with all the items they could get through normal gameplay to help their stats), with his x-slash, does similar damage to rudebuster, for 25 tp instead of rude buster's 40/50. That's HUGE. Kris, with their sword, managed to have similar damage to a monster's magic, for even less TP. Keep in mind kris brought this ability out Basically randomly. The kris from snowgrave, from what I can tell, has the same possible maximum stats as the kris in normal route. Meaning x-slash is something kris is capable of. Now if kris can just casually bring out an attack as strong as rude buster for half the cost suddenly in some battle.. I think kris has even more potential than susie. I think as the chapters go on, kris will become the new brawn of the fun gang. Thanks for reading.

I'm glad we agree on Berdly, cause oh my god, a few days ago I had a psychotic episode where for some reason I'd keep dying to him on the rollercoaster over and over again, having to do the stupid cutscene before it every single time, losing my mind. On my first playthrough ever meanwhile I had no problem with the rollercoaster, but I kept dying in his Noelle battle, to the point where I attempted to hack my game to make it easier, breaking it in the process.
I nearly die almost EVERY time trying to do that second Berdly fight, Snowgrave Route or Normal Route.
Almond milk alone should go is beyond god tier because it just makes the drinker immortal

when you say about Kris, you say Susie also have soul, but she havent because if you see when you battle as Kris, after attack soul flying to Kris, but in Susie vs Lancer battle you can see how soul fly out of screen to Kris, not to Susie

noelle goes to C or B tier based on the neutral route which is the route I think that is true to the story because chapter 2 isn't the final chapter but snowgrave she just goes to S tier

the only, the ONLY reason spamton was able to take over queen's castle was because he caught her off guard. she was really preoccupied and left vulnerable from the state noelle was in, and despite how annoyed she was by berdly, he was very insistent on helping her, and him just disappearing is worrying. while she was left busy worrying about that, spamton snuck in and completed the plans you did for him in the normal route. while queen was busy worrying about the girl who was basically her daughter, spamton was busy becoming [[GOD]]
I am 100% sure spamton neo could beat queen in a fight, he's even got more health than giga queen.

I would say jevil is the strongest character in deltarune (excluding nubert), one of the main things you have to note is the arena of jevil. hes able to use 3 dimensional objects and even has real life imagery in his battle meaning he has some unique freedom that nobody else has, aswell including this when characters get close to being free they have visible strings and despite this jevil has none, I think the only thing holding jevil back is his lack of effort and how he treats most things like a game. also rouxls kaard has a secret ability we never get to see which could be creating new rouxls for the fight which would be very powerful and would be enough to knock him up a tier.

I think the only reason why Spamton is consired to be anything other than the most powerful Deltarune character is the fact that his ingame patterns are relativley easy. In almost every other department Spamton NEO wins out against any other character in a 1v1. He can tank pretty much anything any one else throws at him and do enough damage in return to either one shot or nearly kill every other combatant he might fight against. This is not even including enraged Spamton NEO which has and attack of 26, I don't see how anything can deal with that tbh.
Considering Queen's giant robot is big as fricking apartments, Spamton doesn't stand a chance either his defence boosted or not.

@@isimyok960 if you’re referring to the stat changes, it doesn’t even make a difference. While kris Susie and Ralsei had less hp and attack in chapter 1, so did the other characters, including Jevil so it all balances out. In chapter 2, Kris Susie and Ralsei have more hp and do more damage but spamton does more damage and has more health than chapter 1 enemies to balance everything out. This thing about fights being easier because of kris Susie and Ralsei doesn’t make any sense. Spamton is just an easy boss and a majority of the fan base sees Jevil as the harder boss even with the stat changes. Spamton is just an easy boss

I think jevil is better than everyone because he is immortal. He is only defeated by putting him to sleep for 1000 years which only reinforces the immortal thing
