  • Ricci is a smart cat. She noticed that the door opened for Shelly when Shelly was carrying kittens. Ricci figured if she was carrying a kitten, it would open for her too.

    • I saw that last night Ricci briefly tried taking Tinsel over the wall, so she gets “mop” status. But you’re right, Douglas seems to be her favorite passenger.

  • Poor Douglas. He's the only cat I've seen with that name since my family's cat, so named to fit the Scottish surname & continue the earlier ABC sequence of my 3 eldest brother's.

    • Foster Dad John had a family of kittens rescued by a kind person from where they had been left in a box in a woodland area. He named them after trees and one was called Douglas after the douglas fir.

  • Come on! All of you have to be smart enough to know this is not appropriate behavior. I say this because I caught a 4mo cat in a skunk trap. When I released him, he decided to make my backyard his home. I had other feral cats. When he was about a year old I would catch him grabbing the other cats his age or younger and trying to get rid of them. He would drag them across the street, down the alley, grab ahold of them like he was going to mate them, which my vet told me was a dominant stance. I had to teach him not to touch. Cats are very smart. To this day, neutered, of course, he is the meanest cat I have ever seen. Beautiful black cat, 20 lbs. He plays well by himself, and we just don't touch him and let him do his own thing. He will put you through a meat grinder with those claws.

  • She obviously doesn’t feel that her kittens are safe. These kittens are a bit big for a mother to be feeling like this. I feel bad for her. 😢
