  • If you ever wanted to witness a premier coached team. It was Baylor on both sides of the ball, everything was crisp and fluent, with little to none indecisiveness. Each player knew what to do, and how to read and react individually and collectively each play was executed with precision. Nothing was forced, nobody tried to do too much, and they knew how to get it too hot hand. At no point did confusion or what to do from Baylor in its entirety

    • You guys are hittin the bong! The better team won, yes. But, Baylor played the defensive game of their lives and Gonzaga STILL shot 51% from the field! Baylor shot almost 90% from the free throw line, shot almost 45% from 3-pt range only had 9 turnovers and STILL only outscored Gonzaga by 6 points the rest of the game after taking an 11-1 lead. Nothing weak, scared, or hype about the way Gonzaga played.

    • @@johnet22 Great analysis AND YOU ARE RIGHT!! These weak minded young people that only know their cell phones can't reason the way out of a paper sack! My wife and several other people pointed out how muscular and developed Baylor basketball players were. I examined their ages and found 22, 23, and two players at 24.5 going on 25 years of age. Was Michael Jordan more dominant at 24 and 25 compared to 19?? YEAH definitely!! This BAYLOR team was the OLDEST COLLEGE BASKETBALL team in history to win the NCAA championship! This was a huge advantage for Baylor basketball and MAY LIKELY become a trend. Another huge factor was whistling SUGGS for 2 QUICK PERSONAL FOULS!! DEVISTATING!! SUGGS was hit with a charging foul that clearly was moving INTO Suggs. That happens and that is basketball and sometimes things don't go your way. Kispert struggled ALL TOURNAMENT with his 3 ball shooting! Who knows why, he got great open looks but they just didn't fall. Baylor NAILED ALL THEIR 3s and all their free throws!! I do think seeing how QUICK and muscular BAYLOR was will improve the ZAGS. They needed pro basketball level players testing them and Baylor was it...

  • Gonzaga lacked playmakers that could create shots against Baylor's tight perimeter defense. The ball would swing without penetration resulting in contested shots. Defensively Gonzaga had no answer to on the ball screens. They would switch the screen and everytime Timme and Watson would get handsy, reach and foul or get blown by.

With that said Baylor showed up and showed out and someone like myself have not seen Baylor took me by a surprise. The media sure know how to under estimate good talent because Baylor was not in their cards to win. Now they eating crow.🤔
