Very well spoken video. Concise and yet thorough.
Forgot to mention: if either of the two had a catastrophic failure to the glass, the HD having the centerline on top would give at least some type of reference towards a target where the SRO would be dead out of luck.
thank you for presenting. i would very much love a Trijicon. i try whenever possible to buy 'Murican. so, Trijicon has a leg up there. even so, they have some catching up to do. fix#1, having a proprietary footprint puts them behind the 8-ball right off the bat. fix#2, the battery is on the bottom. i _am not_ re-zeroing every time i need a new batt. fix#3, if it had some sort of 'shake awake' feature, this would lessen the hassle of a bottom batt. fix#4, suppressor height sights are ridiculous. give me a built in rear sight. again, i would have loved to bought a RMRcc, but there were toooo many strikes against. i couldnt be happier to announce my *Sig Romeo X* has been ordered. it met _e v e r y one_ of the above listed elements.

Great video. I was not aware of the RMRHD, just the RMR. I’ve been a fan of the SRO because of its large window and easy top mounted battery. Now which the HD version, it seems to have a top mounted battery and the glass “viewing” looks dry close to the SRO’s. I feel any of the RMR series with the concave top gives better protection than the SRO’s. At this time, I am probably call the HD model my go to red dot.
I definitely fell in love with the HD. I switched back to trijicon because of it.
@@o329o after seeing this video, it is what I am leaning towards.. the only draw back is it is a bit expensive. I guess you get what you pay for.

RMR HD glass is definitely bigger. Albeit not by much. Millimeters.
Millimeters is a lot when talking about something like 15mm tall on the rmr lol

Agreed. I'm still waiting for mine from Kenzie's Optics. Ordered 08/01/23.
Ordered the rcr from euro optics 08/16 and the other day rmr hd from sportsmans guide, sportsmans is quoting the 6th of November euro has said a few more weeks a few times now. So we will see any updates on yalls orders?
The RMR looks smaller then the RMR HD to me.
Could be the camera but I will post pictures actually measuring it later. It’s cool though I thought the way they made it this time around.
RMR HD is cool, but the shape of the + and - buttons look dumb. Should have kept the similar look as on the OG RMR and SRO.
