Saying that Disney is a special case here is a little bit misleading. They're a special case insofar as they have more funding than basically anybody else, but there are 1,700-1,800 special districts in Florida.

I have a question regarding Disney v. Florida. Let's say that Disney's response to the bill contained false and or misleading informations (like, doing something conceptually similar to a defamation). Would that be of any relevance to the case?
It wouldn't matter. Florida would be able to sue/counter sue disney for false information but that wouldn't effect the current lawsuit. The lawsuits are the rights that they violating.

Disney in their governmental capacity does not have freedom of speech. It has long been established cities and villiges are part of the state itself and so as long as Florida only impacts their local governments they have unlimited power.

Yes, there are quite a few special districts in Florida and none of them are for theme parks lol. There mostly old folks homes.

In the Disney / Florida case I would argue Garcetti v. Ceballos. Assume for sake of argument Walt Disney was indeed a public area. That doesn't give them a right to use their public platform to promote their opinions. Granted this case has been slowly chipped away for academic freedom reasons. I would argue that garcetti literally stopped this from happening. It's hard to say if Disney's a private company or public entity when it comes to the mini government they have.

Doesn’t Disney own most of the land in the district? And aren’t they the ones most responsible for developing the district and surrounding areas in the first place? Plus they maintain the area way better than the government could, and their special privileges are mostly being able to build what they want. Right? Normally I’d be against a corporation having that much power, but in Disney’s case it’s what’s best for the district.
Disney promised to build communities and cities...they never did and there municipal bonds getting downgraded by a credit agency

But what he said was "Someone even said, like, maybe you need another state prison." DeSantis didn't say he would do so, he said other people said it. Last I knew words still had meaning, especially in a court of law

Since I agree words have meaning, the word taunt means "to reproach in a sarcastic, insulting, or jeering manner; mock." I assume you know what sarcastic and mocking mean, but just in case, they mean that he may not have been serious about the statement. As to your point that he was just saying other people said it, that's not entirely true. He stated "someone even said, like, maybe you need another state prison. Who knows?" followed immediately by "I just think the possibilities are endless, so that is now going be analyzed to see what would make the most sense." Meaning that he may be considering it as an option along with many other options.

Calm down please, thats just what it's referred to as. The dont say gay bill is the nickname democrats have given it. The bill aims to give parents more parental control over sexual content seen in schools and abroad. Disney is against it. I don't think they actually care, but a large portion of their audience is LGBTQ and democrat. It would be stupid of them to not disagree from a business standpoint. It's a marketing stunt by Disney. The democrats claim it affects gay and LGBTQ people because their culture is sexual.
