Take notes all those mud lovers! When Orkney couldn't make the first muddy step in cockpit he never say still and spun tires. Only when he was moving... Makes it a hell of a lot easier for the guys with anything less than 37s 😂
This shit makes @4wd247 look like a day out at the shops

That is one tough and well sorted Patrol, very impressive. As you pointed out Orkney could have benefited from Treps, and four more cylinders, lol

Are they the all terrain razr’s? They dont look like mine. You can see the muds stays in the treads and the car hasn’t the power to self clear them I think u woukd find similar issues with a trep. Also the wheel bas had you all sorts of fucked

You have to remember the patrol has the power to spin the wheels quick enough to flick the mud out and keep grabbing traction

That 90 needs the same tyres as the Nissan , the Nissans tyres are cleaning the mud brilliantly both did brilliant job though 👍, god that patrol sounds meaty

@@defender90orkney9 Seems like the GQ could have used 1 inch more lift to help out the brake over angle(long wheel base) and even the approach angle ?
That bar work on the gq is amazing

The patrol sounds like a landcruiser V8 1vd engine
How does the LS go heat wise in the mud? Been contemplating whether I go LS or TD42 and build that up when I feel like I could go with more power but I’d be doing a decent amount of mud
My diff marks are still there on vr track 😂
I won't name the last track, but hopefully it hasn't been closed by the time I get back to Australia, last time I did it was January 2019 👍.

Yeah man, Marks adapters make bellhousings. But its alot of power for the td42 box..

Iv got a mate in a ZD30 gu Ute that would get you some more content. Would make the mud scenes a lot easier on 35 inch federals to with a secret weapon of his
Nice way to break your cars, and the defender needs same tyres as patrol
@@defender90orkney9 You could do the same job as the LS3 no doubt with same tyres. Too much power acts as a plow and digs bigger holes. The defender with right tyres in low range and revs will do even better. Your 90 is really nicely done btw.
diesels are always average in the mud
