Then just look at the dates to see which ones are from this year. His "need that" part is by far the best though (even if they are all incredible).

The VX days were great but im glad to see there gone. One of my main thoughts watching this video was holy shit its so cinematic... which I fully understand being a reason why others might dislike it, but to me this type of filming really showcases the art and beauty of skateboarding on another level... as corny as that sounds. At the same time I dont want or need every skate part/video to be so cinematic, like this is Nyjah who has major sponsors backing him and not to mention his own bankroll to afford such film expenses... I dont expect this to become the industry standard. We all know about Nyjahs documentary so of course all his filming for the past few years has been next level.

Thanks for the comments guys! It was the only time I ever met Nyjah and when I saw him my jaw kind of dropped. I was shocked. I stared at him for a minute and then I pulled myself together and went up to him. I said I was a big fan of his. He said something like “gotta love the fans!” He was in the zone because he was focused on his skating, so I didn’t want to bother him too much. I also complimented his steezy tres and switch heelflips. He did a floaty nollie inward heelflip up the euro gap and a nollie bs crooked grind across the kinked rail. The only think I regret is that I didn’t ask to get a picture with him. Oh well. For me the memory is the most important thing.

Ive never skated before but watching people skate is so peaceful to me. I play bass guitar and I get a similar feeling watching people skate like I do when i'm playing music. Ty evens talked about this in 9club. Nyjah choked in Japan and didnt make the podium and so they just released this as a solo part (no documentary). His next part is for Disorter.

@big red well, what I said is based off of what I've seen in Japanese youth skateboarders over the past few years, Yuto happens to be one of the older ones but if you pay attention to the youth out there, they're on another level, skateboarding is exploding in Japan right now and they add a level of discipline to the sport that I haven't really seen from any other country. For starters, check out Ginwoo Onodera, he's 12. theres a lot more though, not sure why you decided to attack my character because you disagreed with my opinion. Either way, for sure check out Ginwoo, he's cold.

Damn... Used to be hating on Nyjah for being too good, growing up seeing him since he was a kid with dreadlocks joining the dream team in Element, felt that he was over-rated.. But seeing him evolve to where he is right now, everything he's achieved and all the crazy parts he's released through the years.. i can say nothing else but he's the G.O.A.T. and his greatness will always leave a mark in skateboarding. This part is way way mature and would be any filmer's dream video part to film. Damn.

The VX days were great but im glad to see there gone. One of my main thoughts watching this video was holy shit its so cinematic... which I fully understand being a reason why others might dislike it, but to me this type of filming really showcases the art and beauty of skateboarding on another level... as corny as that sounds. At the same time I dont want or need every skate part/video to be so cinematic, like this is Nyjah who has major sponsors backing him and not to mention his own bankroll to afford such film expenses... I dont expect this to become the industry standard. We all know about Nyjahs documentary so of course all his filming for the past few years has been next level.

Man I remember back in the day when we were all kids we would come inside from skating and just be going through KZhead just trying to find funny or badass videos to watch, then one day we come across this little kid with dreads absolutely shredding, you just felt instantly attached cause of how good he was and still is. Nyah is so meta in everything he does it’s crazy. Doesn’t dress like any other skater, doesn’t skate like any other skater; the dude is counterculture to a culture built on counterculture yet skateboarding so quick to try and define trends in clothing and style or even remain a kind of way because it is inherently “skateboarding.”

Thanks for the comments guys! It was the only time I ever met Nyjah and when I saw him my jaw kind of dropped. I was shocked. I stared at him for a minute and then I pulled myself together and went up to him. I said I was a big fan of his. He said something like “gotta love the fans!” He was in the zone because he was focused on his skating, so I didn’t want to bother him too much. I also complimented his steezy tres and switch heelflips. He did a floaty nollie inward heelflip up the euro gap and a nollie bs crooked grind across the kinked rail. The only think I regret is that I didn’t ask to get a picture with him. Oh well. For me the memory is the most important thing.
Very few people can put out a 6min+ part with that many big sets. Insane skill, work ethic, and truly an inspiration to the whole community. Rest well man, hope you heal up well.

Ive never skated before but watching people skate is so peaceful to me. I play bass guitar and I get a similar feeling watching people skate like I do when i'm playing music. It's almost like my mind is in a state of meditation i'm not really thing about much. Much love to the skate community I thought I would share my feelings.
That’s what it’s like to skate; nothing matters in that moment except what your feet and your board are doing, and what direction your momentum/weight is going. Meditative fun.

Couldn’t take my eyes off the screen for the entire 6:45 minutes. It’s unbelievable what Nyjah can do! Non-skaters won’t understand how hard this is and haters don’t like Nyjah’s style for some nonsense reasons. Nyjah is a legend and will remain a legend forever.

@big red well, what I said is based off of what I've seen in Japanese youth skateboarders over the past few years, Yuto happens to be one of the older ones but if you pay attention to the youth out there, they're on another level, skateboarding is exploding in Japan right now and they add a level of discipline to the sport that I haven't really seen from any other country. For starters, check out Ginwoo Onodera, he's 12. theres a lot more though, not sure why you decided to attack my character because you disagreed with my opinion. Either way, for sure check out Ginwoo, he's cold.

Damn... Used to be hating on Nyjah for being too good, growing up seeing him since he was a kid with dreadlocks joining the dream team in Element, felt that he was over-rated.. But seeing him evolve to where he is right now, everything he's achieved and all the crazy parts he's released through the years.. i can say nothing else but he's the G.O.A.T. and his greatness will always leave a mark in skateboarding. This part is way way mature and would be any filmer's dream video part to film. Damn.
To me he's almost on Tony's level, not on Rodney's but definitely remarkable as fuck

I just happened to be on vacation for a couple days in Santa Monica and he literally parked underneath my hotel room balcony. This part is absolutely amazing. First the skating is great! some huge tricks and insane spots. The filming and editing is also great and it’s all wrapped up with a perfect song choice that fits the skating and mood of the video. Above all Nyjah is just enjoying life and skating… PERFECT VIDEO
