This is one of my fav BTS songs. I love this remix verson from prologue with only the vocal line almost as much as I love the original with all 7. Its so meningful and almost heartbreaking that they chose this one for this concert. The fact that this was the last concert till 2025 for all 7 members to perfom on the same stage. I saw it as them saying to ARMY that they are scared to lose ARMY as well as they are scared that ARMY might move on and forget them and the times together in this time whey have to let go of our hands. They are asking us to please just keep holding on and walking side by side with them even though they have to let go for a little bit

Trigger-Mental Health I believe many people interpret that Butterfly was written about losing someone to mental health, if you know what I mean. It is extremely special and emotional to me because of the loss of my mom. But all of their lyrics are for each ARMY to interpret, as Namjoon says. I once too believed it was about a romantic love. But I see how it can be about wanting it not to be true that you've lost someone. That you're afraid if you don't hold their hand, they'll shatter and fly away. How delicate human life can be. Btw, the live dance is so beautiful. The ARMY bombs also sync up to Weverse songs and online concerts at home!!

@@tylrreacts thank you. In fact, it was after that loss that I found BTS. They literally saved my life. My family even told me it was the first time they'd heard me laugh in a year. They have such comforting music. I have so much to thank them for, and every ARMY has a similar story of finding them in dark times. As Spring Day sys, after every winter there is a Spring Day. 💜💜

yes, you bring your own light stick - there is a concert mode, you can manually sync it yourself, you put your row /seat number. then at the concert - the light stick engineer will control the colors/lights...super cool ! in BTS concerts, there are stations all over to help you pair your light stick for that day. thanks for this reaction !
Rm wrote most of the lyrics for this song. Suga and jhope did their parts. It's lyrics are about the fragility of youth and friendship. It's one of the main songs off of "the most beautiful moment in life" album series which are about the pains of youth. The extended song has references to kafka on the shore by mukarami. And the overarching themes of the album are about how youth is such a short period of time that won't last. It's like a butterfly that's fragile and can be killed if touched (by others). So handle youth safely because its the formative years of a person. It was not written explicity as a love song. But some people interpret it like that. And that fits too because the version they performed here is the extended version of the song. The second verse in the song performed here is not there in the original version of the song. "Intoxicated by scent" that part was added later in a remix version.
Let me help you a bit with the vocal line. From left to right: Jimin, V, Jungkook, Jin. Jimin usually stays on the higher registers and does a lot of falsettos although his chest voice is amazing as well. V is a true baritone but can hit higher notes easily and normally, sings in a silky, slightly raspy voice. Jungkook is probably an alto, also can hit the higher registers as the lead singer and is a fantastic harmonizer. Jin's range is from low to very high, he is the belter of the vocal line and sings with a lot of emotion.

every time I hear this butterfly song....my eyes are always filled with tears,,remembering the time when I struggled alone to raise 3 children.....trying to look strong but inside I'm crumbling,,and the first time I heard this song I cried...as if the heavy things in my life flowed away. Getting to know BTS 2015 in the era i need u but becoming an Army in early 2016 when I heard the song butterfly......I wanted to say I found BTS but people said BTS will find you at the right time......they gave me encouragement until now
Since this song was released during their HYYH trilogy album (about mental health, suicide, anxiety, etc), this song can be interpret as "portrays the fear of losing someone you are close with who wants to commit suicide and hints that you try to save them before they disappear forever. This song expresses the fear of losing someone by using a butterfly as a metaphor. Butterflies disappear and leave without a trace if you don’t pay close attention to it - just like how you could lose a person who brings you happiness in just a moment."
its more about dealing or losing a loved on to mental health issues. being scared because of their fragile state and not knowing how to help.
This is such a beautiful and heartbreaking song. "If I let you go, will you ever come back? Will I lose you?" Anyone who has lived with someone struggling with depression knows how this feels. ("If I don't stay with you every minute, will you do something to hurt yourself?") Singers in order of appearance: Jung Kook, V, Jin, Jimin.

I think they are singing about fear of their fans leaving them especially since they won't be active for 2 years. That's why this song was performed in their last concert.
The lights stick is called BTS Army Bombs n yes, it can be programme. You have to turn it on n controlled by BTS staff programmer during the concert
