Walls and towers are critical for protecting vulnerable buildings. The game features all sorts of enemies and friendlies from Conan's world of Hyboria. Petroglyph are the mob formed by former Westwood Studios folks, who've since made real-time strategy games including Star Wars: Empire At War and Grey Goo. With Electronic Arts having seemingly shelved Command & Conquer (the last instalment being 2010's generally unloved Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight), there is a huge appetite among RTS-lovers for a new game from Petroglyph.

Conan Unconquere: The number of waves will depend on your settings of course. This aspect really turns the concept of base building on its head and changes the focus of gameplay entirely from playing the long game to playing for the next impending attack first and foremost. It’s overwhelming to look at for the first time, but eventually it all starts to click. I can’t say much as to the future content of the game. Especially so when you consider it follows an MMO and a huge survival game. In co-op, you and your partner will select different heroes. You are holed up in a stronghold and must fend off a set wave of attackers and remain standing at the end. The most famous iteration of Conan is in the 1982 movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger in the role, but Conan has seen several iterations through video games, including Age of Conan: Unchained and the recent Conan Exiles, both published by Funcom. Very pleasant! In particular, I’m looking forward to trying it out and seeing exactly how the multiplayer aspect of the game functions.
