PM Modi's Rule Hasn't Improved India's Image Abroad Despite BJP's Claims: Report
According to a new report by two academics, India's reputation on the world stage hasn't improved in the past ten years. The report, called 'The Modi Mirage: Illusions and Reality of India's Global Standing and Reputation', was written by Professor Irfan Nooruddin from Georgetown University and Dr. Ritumbra Manuvie from Groningen University in the Netherlands. Dr. Subir Sinha from the University of London's School of Oriental and African Studies helped as the main advisor.
The authors point out that the government often claims that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made India more respected globally, a view that's frequently echoed in the Indian media.
