RC Supremacy's OFFICIAL 3Racing Sakura D5 build and shake down video! Most already know that this is 3Racing's introduction to the competition RC Drift scene at an unbelievable price point of just $100!! Yes, It is entirely plastic and YES, Its an all fiberglass chassis with only aluminum standoffs to boast. BUT, The potential this thing has, Is absolutely game changing and the sky is the limit! We definitely are really excited to see what reputable companies come up with as far as option parts and tuning adjustability. I've seen what the aftermarket did to a subpar chassis that was the Sakura D4 and it was impressive. Only time will tell what great products will be available for it! Look forward to a ton of content and great information on this chassis. Just bought one of these and stoked to get it built. Currently there isn't a indoor shop to drive the crawler scene has blown up here I'm hoping to start the drift scene as well.

Thanks Rick! My next video Im going to go in depth on electronics and tear it down to shim, oil properly and add some parts that are on the way. My current Servo/Gyro is the KOPROPO RSX3 COMBO with the KGx Gyro. It's by far the smoothest and highest quality on the market right now. It allows you to fine tune and adjust user input while allowing the gyro to still perform at 100% Gain if needed (AKA Assistance of countersteer)

I'm very interested to see if they drop a RTR. Id Imagine they will at some point soon.
I wonder about tbe track width. It says on the box its 207f and 204r. But i dont understand is this with what offset rims ? I dont want my wheels to stick out of my 198mm body and i normally use 6mm offset wheels. With standard touring width 6mm is perfect.

Bro what type of after market servo can I get for this chassis a normal servo don’t fit? Do you happen to have a part number trying to put mine together right now.
Honestly, You can run any size servo with the proper standoffs repalced. If your looking for a plug and play, LOW PROFILE Savox will get you going

What’s a good esc combo and Servo setup for this car?
For mine I use a flysky nb4, Hobbywing XD10, Yokomo sp-03 V2 and yokomo v4 gyro runs great!

i am looking at a budget drift chassis for myself. i was looking at the d5 but the front shock position is kind of putting me off
Hi Mark! Dont be discouraged on the purchase from the IFS (independent front suspension) It's easily one of the better preforming suspension sets on all the chassis on the market. The only reason why i didnt like it, Was it limited bodies because how High the shocks sit. But performance, I never second guessed it
I am a big fan of the nissan ps13 and the s15 shell would there be a issue fitting these shells? Also thanks for getting back to me. Your shells are incredible.

Stay tuned for fitment cause PT2, Ill be fitting it to the Sakura D5 I just built and headed to the track with it! I def. will tell you, this Thundergod S15 is one of the widest bodies on the market LOL so I did have to widen her some.
