  • You need to be very very careful and respect the tools and equipment, I have been doing hardwood floors for about 40 years, luckily I have never had an accident with power tools, I have cut my self with hand tools and utility knifes , also nail my self with air nailer for not being careful, not paying attention, so is very important to be careful

    • Atemmaske schützt nicht vor Rückschlag eines Werkstücks mit bis zu 200 km/h. Wenn es dem Mund trifft, dann fehlen reichlich Zähne!

    • I disagree about a riving attachment. An unnecessary pc of “osha” junk. It doesn’t hurt anything, but I consider it unnecessary.

    • Yes, and at 6:50 to 7:10, he freehands a rip cut without an riving knife and didn’t experience kickback. Doesn’t mean it’s a good practice though.

    • …or how to rape wood in 18 minutes.

      @sirlensalot9908@sirlensalot9908 Жыл бұрын
    • Absolutely. While I have to admit that I have many time saving unsafe practices that I participate in on a regular basis, free hand sawing on a table saw is NOT one of them. However, that’s only because several years ago while doing exactly that I got the wood in a bind and it kicked back. Damn near lost my right testicle! I have a high tolerance for pain but all I could do was lay on the floor in the fetal position and whimper like a scalded puppy. Pain is an excellent educator for the cocky!

    • I have to agree with you Riversider. I was just going to remark how this guy indulged in several unsafe and unnecessary practices here. But. He got the chair made. Hope he learns how to safely use his equipment before he gets hurt.

  • How do you stop the miter saw at a certain height so that it doesn't cut all the way through?

    @FaliqIsbah@FaliqIsbah Жыл бұрын
    • There is a depth adjuster on the saw so the blade doesn't go all the way through the timber

      @nealpalmer2807@nealpalmer2807 Жыл бұрын
    • If the depth adjustment device is not included on the saw I’m sure with a clamp and a pc of wood you can make your own.
