Why We Use An Elastic Band On A Coil Machine:
• How To Correctly Setup...
Not running the machine in the cup! This has saved me so much! Only been practicing the last 2 weeks so I'm glad I watched this vid 😁😁
Glad it’s helped you out!
Me too! Didn't know why my tip was getting so clogged up and not picking up ink from the cup.
same i have been struggling with ink everywhere on the skin. thank god I found this video
Same!!
I've been practicing for almost a week here myself. So I felt this
I swear, you are my go-to when I have questions or to find out what I'm doing wrong. Your channel is the best on teaching in a way that really makes sense.
Thank you!
I've been tattooing on my own since the beginning for about 3 years now(mostly on myself) and have had some success but not without a lot of failures! I have not done an apprenticeship strictly due to not being able to afford to. The quality of my work before watching your videos improved quite slowly(having watched countless other "tutorials". Since watching your videos the quality(and speed) of my work has improved exponentially!! There is still a lot to learn as always, and I constantly am trying to find new and different techniques to expand my abilities! Like you said, knowledge is power and your videos are by far the most thorough and informative videos I've found(abs I've watched a lot of videos!!) Additionally to the information you provide your energy and obvious love for what you do and eagerness to teach others how to improve has made your videos not only informative but also fun to watch! I hope that when I have the ability to start an apprenticeship that my mentor is at least half as passionate and knowledgeable as you. Keep up the good work, and thank you for making these videos!
That’s for taking the time to write the amazing comment and feedback! I’m glad they’re helping you out. Always got loads of videos in the pipeline. Good luck with your journey!
Thanks for this. Until watching this, I always used to have problems with loading too much ink into the cartridge needle. When dipping the needle into the ink, I always used to run the machine to pull the ink up, but after doing it the way you suggested, I'm no longer having this problem! Thanks again 👍🏼
Thank you so much for making. This video I’ve learned a lot about the rotary machine now and these were the common things I was breaking my head about
Not running the machine ,,,, the best advice my comrade
Awww thanks!!! I was training on synthetic skin today and was so annoyed about all the splatter, you helped me a lot!!
I’m glad it’s helped you out. Good luck with it!
Same...! Love your style, Nikita 😍
Cheers mate. Thanks for this video. Just started tattooing and it was definitely helpful before I got further along into tattooing. I’ve been watching your videos for a week straight and the overall knowledge you give is top of the line. Thanks again.

Thank you sooo much!!! I'm a beginner and I'm struggling with this problem for quite a while. Nobody have told me what I should do until I find your video. Awesome!!!
Thanks for watching!
Hi, nice video, you explain very well what might happen and why it happens and how to avoid it... Nice, thank you very much.. 👍 I have my own tattoo shop, been tattooing for 2 years now, but still at the same time doing the learning because I have a vision of my skills, what I expect them to be some day and working hard to get there.. do you have a video about color packing? I rarely do big areas but when I do, it's very hard to get it solid, colors are a bit easier than solid black...
Genial, gracias por las Demostraciones.
Very helpful.. Thanx bro..
I liked this video you helped me the best way . In excited to do another tattoo
Thanks brother. Working on my shading and getting splatter. Thanks to you, I know why and can adjust.
Thanks for watching!

Thanks for watching!
I’m so grateful for these vids! Thanks so much bro
Thanks for watching!
Jono, thank you for all the tips and pro tricks to producing a better piece. Not having to deal with splatter or pooling of excess ink not only saves the stencil, but it also saves on skin irritation caused by excessive wiping or blotting of freshly tattooed areas. A tattoo is not going to be completely irritation or pain free unless it is a temporary jobber like what we used to get back in the day out of a cracker-jack box, but it does not need to be agonizing either.
Thanks for the great comment and yes I totally agree with you. Thanks for watching!

this has been a great help thanks, and who knew Keith Lemon could teach tattooing lol
Thank you for the video Jono ! It really helped me with some blocked roads ,I have been struggling with the splatter for god knows how much. Would you give me an advise about the fake skin, are there any differences?I see your stencil really holds onto it,how do you apply it?Does it have something to do with the stencil paper aswell?could you send an amazon link to a fake skin you recommend?
He’s a link for a decent fake skin. This one tends to wipe really well. The best stencils for fake skin are hand drawn ones on hectograph paper. You can use a standard stencil solution or even washing up liquid (obviously don’t use that in real skin) but it works great on fake skin. Hope this helps. What is the best way to perfect the shading I am having the hardest time figuring out if I run the tube or do I need to fix my power ratio to the speed of my hand or slow down and turn up the power I just cannot get the shading down if there's anything that you can recommend to help me let me know please and thank you
Absolute legend 👌!

VERY VERY CLEARLY EXPLAINED VERY NICE IMPORTANT POINTS EXPLAINED
Thanks for the awesome feedback and thanks for watching!
What do you clean the practice skin off with to clean off excess ink
Can i know wich one is better for practicing tattoos ...coil machine or tattoo pen
Thank you so much 💖
Thanks for watching!
I definitely have found out that leaving the stencil dry for up to 15 minutes it almost won't come off. Great tip I hope some other people can use it
Thanks for watching!
So like I keep having ink build up in my needle and I use dip cap and a rinse cup to get rid of it but it still ends up kinda clogging. Is it normal to use the same exact needle once the other one has too much build up? Or do artists usually use that same size needle for the whole session
Nice work 💯💯
Thanks! And thanks for watching!
:) Thank uuu so muuuuuch for this video ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Do you have some tips about Discharging ink on the skin? When the needle hits the skin all the ink that is in the cartridge reservoir is discharged on the skin, It’s catastrophic and I have not found a solution to stop it…
Wow tanks 😁
AWWWWESOME EDUCATION CUZ I JUST LEARNED ALOT BY WATCHING YOUR VID THANKS N PLEASE MORE MORE LOL KEEP UP THE GOODY WORK 💯💯👍👍
Thanks! Got loads more content always being made!
Thx man🔥🔥🔥
