Yea I think the 151 UPC will follow in Charizard UPC tracks....Not upset about it either, I want to open it and not feel like I can't buy another one to keep sealed.
I'm hoping that 151 will be a happy middle-ground between the Celebrations UPC and Charizard UPC (maybe 60-40 in favor of Zard UPC). It's a bit excessive for a premium product to be selling for $25 below retail nearly a year agter release, but the alternative where the product is 3-4× retail on release is also excessive.
Literally bought the 3 Charizard promos today and then this just popped onto my feed. I started collecting about a month ago and let's just say I'm hooked and close to bankrupt already haha. I live in South Africa so we are nowhere near as spoilt as you collectors in the states with all your big card conventions and Ebay. Very hard to find good cards here. Loving the videos, Jake! Price per pack is pretty good here if you subtract the promo value off of the total cost. Expect these to keep rising.

I know a lot of people hate on these but I loved mine. Getting my first and only VMAX Alt pull (Glaceon VMAX) from the Evolving Skies packs was really shocking especially since I usually have terrible luck opening box collections, ETBs etc.

Definitely a great product for still a super good price! I agree on the promo cards, I am so happy they decided to put these inside of the UPC. Especially the Charizard VSTAR would have been so expensive if it was a chase card of a set and way harder to grab for so many TCG enjoyers.
At least one box of this should be in literally every sealed collection at its current price point.

We opened one of these up a few weeks ago, great set! Looking forward to the 151 UCP too.
Did the Gamestop $20 off deal with 5 Morpeko V Union Crown Zenith boxes. Unbelievable deal. 5 Crown Zenith packs, Marnie playmat, 4 Morpeko cards. $19.99 each. Best Pokemon deal I've seen since 2020. Good to see huge discounts again.

I have to agree with your opinion on astral radiance! I think it is such an under rated set and I have had such good luck on pulls on that set!
I convinced my buddy to buy one from GameStop because it was such a good deal. I opened mine and got crap. He opened his and got Alt Art Leafeon, Alt Art Beedrill and Moonbreon in his last pack….god box
Only ever got one of these boxes and the best thing I got, was a Charizard V Alt art from Brilliant Stars. Gonna get it graded. ☺️

Picked one of these up for 79 from gamestop. I figured I might as well get a sealed one for the collection at that price.
I pulled a golurk and this is the 2nd time you have reminded me and brought back the pain.
I sold off a ton of sealed product to fund another large purchase. The rest of my sealed collection I may just open up because that's what these are really meant for. To be opened and have fun with cracking open packs. I bought 2 of these at once and opened one already. Will probably just open up another. For $90 it's a steal for the fun of opening packs and solid promos.
I was just watching your original unboxing video yesterday, lol. My only regret is not buying the PSA graded Charizard VStar you had on ebay awhile back. I got the V and VMax, they miss their brother. 😂😭

Not sure what it is about the Charizard UPC but the pulls in them seem super light. Opened up 2 myself and probably 4 hits between the 2.

We don't know, it's unlikely since the english side do not follow the same holo pattern. But you never know!
Is this worth the price? I want to get it but worried I won’t get any pulls

In my country, it is the same price of release. It didn't get higher or lower. It is almost $79.

Keep it sealed, seems like pull rates are terrible in these boxes and soon people will want the idea of having a sealed box over you wanting the cards inside, buy the promos separately if you really want them, but keeping this sealed is better simply because of how bad everyone’s pulls are

Actually cracked my sealed one a couple weeks ago because there is just no value in keeping it sealed for numerous years Pull rates are horrible though

I am convinced the Zard UPC was intentionally filled with little to no hits. I watched another KZhead open over 100 of these as part of a pack break stream for customers, and he didn’t pull anything of note. Both of mine didn’t have crap either lol

Good video but I wouldn’t call the promo cards “free”. I know what you mean though
The terrible truth is, your pull rates on this one was better than I had on mine. Only 1 TG and 1 regular V card. Have 2 more of these boxes, but I think I'll keep those sealed.
I just bought a box, seeing these comments I worry, idm if I get shit pulls but I’m hoping for at least ONE good card😭
None of my UPCs had Vivid Voltage, they all had a Fusion Strike instead.
Interesting, I had 3 Fusion Strike in this. So did you have 4?
The newest print of these had 5 Fusion Strike which replaced the Vivid and Darkness.

Signed up for Gamestop Pro for $25. You automatically get a $10 off coupon. For the Charizard Ultra Premium Collection they knock of $4.75 for being a member. Had to purchase a couple of smaller pokemon products to get up to $100 and received another $20 off my order. That also included free shipping. Placing all of the discount on the UPC and you're paying $61.00... well worth it IMO.
Oof! So GameStop really did raise the price of their pro membership. Guess it's a good thing they convinced me to buy it at $15 lol!
Yea price per pack is great but the promos are worth less than $5 and the packs were specifically seeded to not have hits so the only value here is if it was unopened. I've seen 109 opened and litterely not a single hit in any of them worth over 6$

I like the look of the Celebrations UPC and original SWSH UPC much better than this Charizard one

Tho not exciting pulls, I do enjoy these types of videos since I have come back into the space a little late and didn't snag me one of these. Now I think I might.
The UPC would have been way more popular if the pull rate on the packs wouldn't have been that bad as seen in the video.

we've had like 4 of these sitting in walmart(where i work) for months nobody has bought them. the one i bought i was also disappointed in with the quality of the charizard promos and only had 1 hitter pack because its just a random assortment of packs. 1 radiant steelix in 16 packs is trash. this box is a gamble pack wise, and with the charizard quality ive heard. this box sucks. IN MY OPINION! but you gotta get it at least once :)
Tbh it was the last sealed product i ever bought. Strictly singles for me now. Awful pull rates 2 normal vs out the packs and dont even get me started on the promos which is what i really wanted. Looked like a dam rat ate the corners for breakfast. 1/10 product for me
I had the same feeling, but then I opened a few Japanese boxes and it got me hooked again. The Japanese cards are way more beautiful and the pull rate is much better. Only if you want to complete your sets and buy singles, then it's more expensive than the English ones.
@@FCB90Tamsin japanese singles are to expensive. I dont want to pay $300 for every card thats desirable. They are better quality but i hand pick my english cards and all of them are in my eyes mint. Mint enough for me anyway
I would stay away from this product, I literally opened 3 of them and have gotten a total of 5 hits to include V cards, the best card I got out of 3 boxes, is a radiant heatran. 1 box had 15 not 16 booster packs. 1 box 2 out of the 3 evolving skies had 2 code cards. This is the most disappointing product I have ever opened.
you pulled nothing from this box...worried about it. This collection box mixed with different packs doesn't have a pull rate control. I mean, U can find one hyper rare, 2 double rare, and several ex and maybe 1 full art from an 151 ETB for sure. But this looks randomly packed. And sometimes really low pull rates just like the heavy hitter premium box from sam's club. I bought 2 of that, got nothing good like zero.

UPC's SHOULD be a limited item and hard to find because they are the collectors edition of video games. You don't see them making a tone of those now do you. UPC's are premium for a reason no? Pokémon dropped the ball big time on these and it just killed its value altogether all because of crybabies that missed out on the celebrations upc. Mah seriously sit down clowns.

He showed us why they are available everywhere out of 16 packs he didn’t get nothing literally a total of $35 and that’s being generous. These boxes are bad and 151 upc will have nothing but sv151 packs so that’s why they are selling like crazy rn and pre orders being cancelled
