He said Wickedly which was cool because Idina was the lead character in the musical Wicked, but he pronounced her name wrong, he read it according to something called the phonetic spelling. So it became a thing and people call Idina Adele Dazeem sometimes.

Elsa bringing snowmen to life does seem confusing, but if you think about it, Olaf and Marshmallow are really meant to be metaphorical. Olaf is friendly, playful and dreams about summer, he represents Elsa's desire to return to the old days of childhood and warmth with her sister as her best friend ("do you want to build a snowman?"). Marshmallow on the other hand is wild, angry and cold, he represents Elsa's fear of her powers and her desire to be left alone. So kids (and many adults) can just sing their lungs out and buy the merchandise, but this movie also holds other levels of interpretation for those who want more...
That's really quite perceptive of you to see that kind of subtext in Elsa's character. Well said. :)
+Brick Top There are deeper levels of interpretations and that was the reason why I got stuck with the movie. But, you know, the more you think about it, the clearer it gets that there is no closed interpretation or closed "story behind the story" if you know what I mean. It's like Disney just throws some hints for deeper levels of interpretations in a few scenes without throwing enough to create a real metaphorical meaning of the whole story. I hope you all understood what I mean. It's really hard to 1) put my thoughts into sentences and 2) put my thoughts into sentences of a foreign language.

It's not the fact that Frozen was 'awful' but because of all the hype it got I expected a lot more but when I watched it I was like "eh that was okay I guess". Then people started saying it's better than Lion King and it's the 'best disney movie ever' and it became so overrated that people started disliking it. The movie in itself was average at best

I don't understand the need of "I don't need a man" in fairy tales movies, in the occidental society of XXIth century... Even cartoons girls "with a man" was strong, and their fans like me adore pro-active characters, but not in the biased way from Frozen.
The thing with disney films is that the protagonist is always the weaker of the love interests. You see it aladin and... Ahit, whats another movie with a male protagonist.
Agreed, Tangled has a tighter plot - things tie together, they are not there just because; Frozen never explains Elsa's power (maybe they were trying to keep it secret and do a backstory kind of thing in their sequel or prequel... then goodjob), Olaf has one of the few good songs in the movie but he doesn't really do anything, Hans reveals his plan too abruptly and in a rather clichéd villain manner (telling their victim their plan when they don't have to and enjoying it) because the producers couldn't think of a better cooler clear-yet-subtle way to let him do so Tangled has way better songs and Frozen isn't even half as funny as Tangled so i don't get the hype As for design i'd say they are in about the same league, maybe Tangled's slightly better though Sorry this is not a thorough analysis, don't mean to do one anyway, i just want to point out some obvious things i picked up. Anyway on the whole, Frozen feels like a few cool but incomplete concepts smashed together with some commercial pop songs that get stuck in your brain thrown in

Frozen was a good movie but it's honestly overrated. It came out last year for Pete's sake. And theirs still as much hype for it as if it came out a month ago. The songs have nothing wrong with them. But when u here them playing in the mall over and over again you start to dislike them. It honestly was a good movie but by now we honestly should be moving on.
Well, their opinions is what they feel, and what they feel is their opinions, the reason why some people are so butthurted is because of how the haters and/or dislikes approach are so angry like and full of hatred, BUT as hurtful as it is i respect it 100%, but IMO frozen wasn't much, its the lion king of 2013/14 Lion king had more stuff than frozen but i still love it, every time i see a picture frozen i go all girly like, especially when it comes to Anna.....back to the point, it has a simple story, the songs are pretty beautiful, some people cant take it because of how overrated it is but it doesn't annoy much, not everyone has the same feeling. but yes it been year now since frozen was released, and yes some people still like it, but just ignore it if you dont like it, this is my advice.

CobiVonSchweetz it's not that I don't like the movie. It really is a good movie with nothing wrong with it. I just think that it's past its honeymoon phase. It should be commemorated but by now it isn't that big of a deal. It's been a year no movie not even the lion king had this much hype after a year. And personally I think the lion king was better. I want people to know that they shouldn't hate on it for being over rated when it is still a great movie. But I agree it's been a year and we should cut back a little on how often we play the songs. I think a majority of people hate Frozen just to hate it. That's what happens with everythi by that gets popular, whether it deserved the fame or not. I liked Frozen. It isn't my favorite movie, but it had a better message than "true romantic love happens in a five second meeting".
I hated frozen because the characters irritated And partially because when they announced its creation they said it would be an adaptation of the snow queen and I was super hyped And then it came out and it was... Well frozen... They replaced all the good bits from the snow queen with crap The snow queen was all about a girl trying to save her best friend, with the help of other girls along the way, but they replaced all the awesome female characters with an ice cold b***h, a dork, a sociopathic prince, and a hobo

Twilight, the Left Behind series, and 50 shades of Grey are not masterpieces of literary genius just because they made the bestseller list. Likewise, Frozen being popular doesn't erase its lazy writing, poor character and world building, mostly pointless, bland songs, and having next to nothing to do with the fairy tale that supposedly inspired it...

FROZEN HATERS!!!!! You forgot one very, very important fact. This movie is directed towards.... Children. Yes. Small, little, ignorant children who really couldn't care less as long as the thing's average and not "I want to bang my head against a rock" type crap to adults (like Power Rangers) and doesn't contain an exaggerated "Oh no! What are we going to do?" sentence. So, its pretty good. If you want to get angry on a child movie/programme, watch Dora the Explorer with a small cousin. THEN you will want to bang your head against a rock.

***** well to me the movie just had a ton of holes, unexplained things, doesn't give that 'winter' like feel to it, tons of spots that were actually wrong in the scene, random singing (not much but its something little) and the story is so short and boring
