Invisible Maze or the Cat !! 3 Levels !!

We build an invisible maze of cling film for the cat. We construct not only the walls, but also the ceiling, so that the cat can’t be tempted to jump over. Three different mazes, 3 levels. With each level we make it harder. At the third level the cat will have a reward, some food on a plate in the middle of the maze. Will the cat reach his reward?

    • MG G - The average weight for a cat is 8 - 10 pounds so if your cat is 10 kg ( 22 pounds ) then that is unhealthy and u should feed it less

  • By the second attempt he has learned to trust his whiskers rather than his eyes. (Cat vision has its limits.) But in general I think you are training Pusic to better than normal levels of problem-solving ability. You may one day have a cat as smart as a Rook or Raven. Which you might regret.

    • @DaFatPiranha Nechiporuk In Belize, there is a small brown cat, the Jaguarundi, which catches Piranha fish for a living. Not sure if that counts as smart, or not.

  • Pusic is very smart. Cats eyes focus is 30.5 cm in front of them. Anything closer and they only feel with their whiskers. The last one though, Pusic's little nose started wiggling around for the goodies in the middle. So happy this cat is living the best life; playing, being happy and having loving hoomans.     • More like well behaved and cooperative. I think tearing through the cling film would've been very smart, especially in level 3, as that's the fastest way to the food that he can clearly see

I've always been super careful about plastic bags, anything, and keeping them away from my cats, they like bags and the sound they make when batted around. I had to get crazy mad at my husband to get him to throw bags in the recycling box as he unloaded groceries, etc. Didn't think it would matter if the cats got their heads inside them or chewed them up. 😵🐈

  • I had a tomcat who had figured out keys. By himself. I caught him standing on his hind paws and turning the key in the cupboard where the treats were kept... I hadn't forgotten to buy. The little bags were hidden under the sofa. Cats keep us as, well, resources... 🤭

  • I'm super impressed that he remembered where the entrance was even after you'd closed it up, and knew that had been closed. There virtually no detail or scents that the cat could used as obvious markers, and he went the correct way backwards without looking, he must have built an abstract model of the maze in his head!
