I had no idea he was so level headed with a good eye for business. More than a 2 hit wonder. Go ninja, go.
Go ninja go ninja go
Right? He really did it right.
Is this what it's like to have a roni?
@@XredactedX 🤣
Why ninja
I mean he did tell us 34 years ago or so if he had a problem he would solve it and man didn't lie lol
Nice 👍🏿 😂😂😂
🤣
He probably still has a DJ too and now he’s just checking out the hooks in the custom installed closets of all the properties he owns.😂😂😂 Ok. Sorry you had to endure that.
@@stereothrilla8374 LMMFAO NICCCEEE!
Amen!
"You're gonna like your own shit whether it sucks or not". Great quote, if more people realized this it might save themselves some problems.
Then he got interrupted. Bad interview vs letting the guest talk.
VI - “So I have a huge real estate empire and I can tell your listeners all about how I did it!” Steve-O - “Man, I was so drunk this one time in college and I almost drowned…”
VI: Always learning! Steve-O: Jack-ass 30? Sign me up!
Steve O. Sounds like Cobra Commander😅
Retreeeeet!😂😂😂
*"I WAS ONCE A MAN.....!!!"*
Follow his orders
Looks like a lesbian😂
I bounced at the House of Blues Orlando 1999. He played there and I got to shadow him at the meet n greet. I was thinking he was going to be another deuce, but he was the nicest dude. He really cared about his fans and was a genuine dude.
That's cool. It's always good to hear about the people to treat people well when they don't have to.
He performs at the annual winter festival in his hometown in Wellington FL every year and meets and greets all the kids and does charity.
Ironic how many rappers went broke and accused him of being a fake. Suge Knight is now in jail and Ice is still cashing checks. Dude played the long game and is still making bank while the rest of the clown show that hated on him are broke or in jail. Props to this guy.
They just meant that he was more of a top 40 rapper or a pop rapper like MC Hammer or someone rather than someone that appealed to hip-hop’s core audience, similar to how KRS-One or Eric B. & Rakim would’ve.
The rest of the clown show are broke or in jail. You named suge knight 😂 of all people who was destined to have one of those happen to him early in life.
It's his whole background that was fake. I went to the cross town high-school from him in the suburbs up I35 north of Dallas. Lewisville/Carrolton area. My best friend's older brother was in the same class as him. He came from an upper class white-collar background, and just continued moving up. I've done well myself, owning my own 3D Design Firm, so no jealousy or hate here, just a reality check. He didn't come up on the back streets of Miami hustling to make a living as some lone gringo trying to survive in Cuban and Black dominated street gang society. Which is exactly how he was sold to the populace back in the 90s. In fact he was a white kid from a white mid to upper class neighborhood who got popular playing at trendy City Lights in Dallas, not some hip hop joint in Miami. In the end he's just a successful real-estate investor from a well-off stable family background, who's doing even better in today's real-estate market. What's ironic about that?
@@heathwasson7811 I meant "fake" as in he wasn't a real hip hop artist. He was outed pretty early on as an upper middle class kid with a good upbringing. It was his background and being white and talking about street life that got him in trouble since rap in the 90s was all about writing about gang life, hustling and drug dealing. His whole hip hop career and image was a complex one to sort out. It's like now black rappers saying Eminem can't be the GOAT because he's white and his songs don't play in clubs - but said Ice was a clown because his music WAS in the clubs and therefore "not real enough" to warrant any praise. Hip hop is full of contradictions.
Or dead
Ice being impressed that Steve-O can calculate 30 years from 2024 is 1994.
Lol
It's called blowing smoke up someone's butt
Vanilla turned his life around. Good for him. God bless him.
It’s hilarious how folks will shorten a stage name. It’d be amazing if he was called that in-person and the awkward moment followed.
@@westmcgee9320 I think it wouldnt be awkard. If I saw him in the street, I would say, "Whats up ICE !!" Not out of disrespect, just is....Think the homie wouldnt care.
@@tradeforcharity you didn’t say “Ice”, the first time. That’s kind of the point. If you yelled out,”What up, Vanilla…”, that’d be different. 🤦🏾♂️
@@westmcgee9320 lmao i guess your right. "Whats up Vanilla!!!" doesnt roll off too well. lol
I had a weekend that lasted 3yrs, that got me 😂
This should be called Steve-O talks about his time in Miami during the hurricane in the 1990s
Steve-O didn't want us peasants to get good info lol
Unreal
@@Genericyoutubename-ej8yg Right? Vanilla: "I can tell your audience the step-by-step details of how I made millions of dollars in real estate" Steve-O: "......so anyways, I was swimming in my jeans..."
I literally skipped that part specifically
Yep, he doesn't realize audience is here for ICE. Nobody cares about you Steve O
I love stevo but fuck he annoys me when he talks over the guest
even vanilla ice looks over it
His voice is annoying! It’s hard listening to him speak! It’s gross!
Steveo has turned into Ellen.
And he always talks over everyone 🤔😂
Howard Stern is the same way.He talks over guests & doesn’t let them finish their sentence.
Steve-O's incoherent dorm story almost derailed Ice's story about how he went from doing a remodeling into owning lots of properties.
Damn... Ice said Carlton Sheets... thats hilarious cause I found my old course with the tapes and different little booklets like 2 months ago in my parents attic... lol
56 years old! Insane how his life has played out! Good for him!
I’m always so excited for the guest he gets, but it just turns into a show of Steve-o talking over his guest and about himself.
Almost like someone who snorts worms and swallows goldfish is an attention wh*re. Who’d of thought?
Imagine knowing who Steve-o is, and expecting different. That's on you bub.
1:31 Steve O doesn’t like the positivity talk, cuts him off mid sentence and even Ice tries to continue…but nope 😂 1:48 Ice is too smart for Steve O. He burns Steve for cutting him off for something he already said 😂😂
Cant deny the fact that he actually owned a time period in history.
Lots of us have had those 3 year weekends. Glad its finally Monday 🙌
Imagine thinking your life was the same as his. 🤣
@eriklarson9137 imagine thinking you know anything about anyone but yourself. 😆 🤣 But really, you know absolutely nothing
You alright? What a bitter comment to make lol. @@eriklarson9137
@@eriklarson9137 You missed the point bro!
I always liked the guy but never knew he was so focused and level
Same goes for Steve-O..all these guys that used to be epically wild and misjudged are really amazing people. I look up to so many of them and love that they came out on the other side, still funny, still gorgeous, and still being themselves.

Imagine anticipating this interview between these two 30 years ago. 🤣 Good stuff actually.
Steve-O GREAT STORY! I was a Senior at U. Miami 1992. Rode out Hurricane Andrew in the pool at our Fraternity House!
So glad steve didn’t successfully talk him out of actually giving good advice by interrupting
Thank you for all the great memories brotha.
Cool dude.Totally level headed and on it. Great work at life Ice.
Ice had an interesting story and then Steve-O just hijacks it to tell another story about how wasted he got 🤣👍🏽
Still a Teenager. 😅
Vanilla Ice was king of the rap genre for a second. For real.
Ice ice baby lives rent free in my head
Saw him live in Guadalajara, his sound system went down, they got one side working in a couple minutes and he went right back into the show without missing a beat. Real fun seeing anyone do well especially in the main bullring of Guadalajara!
That is one of the most intelligent pieces of financial advice I’ve ever heard with the life insurance.
I didn't know that Vanilla Ice is a one man housing crisis.
Love his show! He goes all out! Always some great features after the houses are finished!
Vanilla Ice is a G. My husband and I were both teens in the nineties and had no idea he dated Madonna like that 😂 Great convo overall
Modanna came out with a book called Sex and it was a huge book 2x2 ft. In that book she has pictures half nude with Ice. Came out in 1992
I did not expect this conversation between Steve O and Ice, but that was great! I feel like I learned something that should be taught in school, like insurance, taxes, etc. Brian Reagan explains school pretty good.
Like Ice said lawyers have taken over everything, so this will NEVER be taught in school. It's up to us to educate ourselves and teach our kids the game.
Can we make time stamps skipping over steveo talking?
lmao
😅...
Funny, this is the exact comment I've wanted to write on every single JRE episode, ever 🤔
Been keeping up with him for a while!!He’s a blue collar guy, and has worked hard for what he has!! KEEP ON KEEPIN OWN!!
He’s performing in Sarnia,Ont. June 20th
SteveO, good to see ya back, great interviews. But now I just want to hear Ice talk business all day!💰
Love Rob. I've seen him twice here in West Palm Beach at an auction and at a movie. He is the nicest guy and has time for everyone. He is so articulate and BTW, so, so handsome.
Yep FSU students coming from south Florida were allowed to start classes a week late….the stories they told were wild.
Hes at Cars and Coffee Palm Beach all the time. Chill dude.
Steve.... For the love of God let people talk, Man!!!
I like that, a 3 year weekend. Well said man, well said. My weekend lasted about 12 years, glad Monday finally came😅
😂😂😂😂❤ thanks for the Sensible chuckle
@@RosinDaddy5280 Anytime, my friend😂
He is a genius. 🙏🏼 💯
Rob was always a go getter and has done whatever TF he wanted. A fan since I first was introduced to him. I remember going to get his tape because I got a good report card in 92' (2nd grade.) Luckily my parents let me listen to and watch what i wanted whether they approved or not.
Ha! Carlton Sheets. I bought that but was too lazy to follow through
He got into real estate right after he rolled up the hootie mack.
I didnt realize vanilla ice was this smart
Gotta respect his honesty and his work ethic. Props.
Shook Ice’s hand and then watched him perform at Texas Tech during a basketball game. Awesome dude!
Back in the early 90’s I never once thought Ice would be a killer responsible business man
I took a real estate workshop in Vancouver back in the early 80's. Learned a lot.
Love this guy I remember Carleton sheet and still have his course in a box
Dayum, dropping Carlton Sheets name! My man been doing this for more than a minute.
Damn bro that course is like 30 plus years old!
I still got his course on vhs
@@juiceman8108 daaaamn…..does it work? U got a VHS player? I haven’t seen one of those in a minute….

this young man has been doing this for years, the only one who ain't sittin' on his ass,,,he's getting it done & a helluva great job done on all properties..in my 70's & quite proud of this man...kudos Ice....a good human you are.
Went through andrew cutler ridge and homestead. Moms house in C-ridge almost no roof left and gmas house in homestead did well compared to others it was awful being a pre teen going through all of that had to grow up really quick. We did ride jet skis on the flooded roads just likr ice. What a crazy time . The army had to come save miami. It was nuts...!!!!!
This was one of the best episodes.
This is great!
I worked in Miami 6 months or so after Andrew out of Kissimmee setting tile, very wild!
It looks like steve o is the one being interviewed lol
Damn, he seems like a super chill dude. He's not playing around with his money either. Smart guy.
this is gold
He was a natural soulfull dancer, rapper, and singer. Hip Hop Great!❤
Carleton Sheets! I forgot about that course!
2000, copperas cove, tx, that concert was amazing. rock version of IIB. haha
It would have been awesome if ice got to speak too.
Robby! You the man!
"Flushable" means yes, they will flush down the toilet. You will then absolutely have clogged drainage sooner or later, which can lead to shit floods and property damage. You may even incur a fine from your complex, if you live in an apartment. Please, whatever you do, do not flush wipes down your toilet.
Are condoms ok to flush?
@gabecloud3493 that's an urban legend. According to the NGBD its absolutely fine/safe to flush as long as they are marked accordingly.
Smart dude. Glad he is doing well.
And after all of the bullshit, here’s Robbie Van Winkle speaking truth. Right, wrong, indifferent. Confident in who he is. I’m still trying to fit in to my skin.
It's honestly kind of funny listening to Steve-O flex his sobriety then basically wax poetic about all the stupid shit he used to do, over and over again, almost like he wants applause. Oh so during a hurricane, you bought the beer and swam in a lake? Cool story.
Two legends on a sofa
TWO OF THE WISEST MEN ALIVE!
OMG! Is Vanilla Ice the “we buy ugly houses” billboard guy!?! Those billboards are everywhere!
Vanilla Ice is the real deal and has stayed relevant through the decades. BTW, I wonder what ever happened to arsenio hall. LOL hahaha 🤘🏻🌴
But… he says he’s “clean” rich. 😆
What a cool guy. A legend.
Wow! I never knew about this side of Ice. I'm glad I saw this.
Great show thanks for sharing my friends. I was inspired to fix my own house from watching vanilla ice renovate those homes it helped me so much. I finally got off my lazy butt and started doing it myself and it was a lot of fun. Thanks for the inspiration. 😎
He did a great interview with Patrick bet david a few years ago and it really changed my perception of him. Worth checking out
I just don’t understand why you would have a podcast if your voice sounded like that. I really love Steve, but I can’t imagine listening to this longer than five minutes. It’s like fucking torture.
It's gotten better actually
Im "Drop that zero and get with this hero " old
90s we’re GOOD TIMES!👍
Wow...i had no idea! Guys pretty interesting and well spoken. Steve O has a good show overall too
I still remember seeing Vanilla Ice as Vanilla Ice the metal band, Vanilla Ice the rapper, and Vanilla Ice on stage with a bunch of turtles.... pretty sure during his metal phase I watched as he opened up for Ice Tea's metal band called Body Count, or vice versa 😅
Welcome to stevo talks about stevo show, with a guest.
2:10 WOOOOOOW!!!
I live in south Florida and I drove through Miami two years after hurricane Andrew and many places where still blown out wrecks. It was bad but thankfully concentrated. I live about 50 miles north and we had a breeze but nothing else. I was just a little kid but I remember it pretty well. My mother was freaking out.
I absolutely adore him and he is sooo much more than Vanilla Ice..
Steve o on double secret probation , who would have guessed ? Lol
It’s funny how MC Hammer went at him and Hammer is broke. Arsenio Hall tried to make an example out of him. And nobody wants to know how he’s while that show is ancient history. Shouts to Vanilla Ice for sure.
Ice is smart as hell. Good for him! Glad he got it together in a huge way.
I remember andrew. My aunt lived in perine and her neighborhood was done. She lost her roof and so many people didn't have insurance and the whole area was fked. The whole south Miami area was destroyed. Good on Ice has kept killing it.
He is one of the few level headed rappers. Not money rich but brain rich.
Real estate real estate baby
went over steveo's head when ice was going to break down how he buys the tax liens
What's funny is in the early 1990s they were all those infomercials about guys toting some get rich quick type schemes about buying these things and I guess it really worked. Good for him. He made the absolute most of his one hit wonder career.
Rob is legit. Good on ya man.
