Russian Sukhoi Superjet 100 Using Only Local Components Took to the Skies for the First Time

2023 ж. 31 Там.
277 549 Рет қаралды

The Russian Industry Minister announced on August 29 that the SJ-100’s flight tested the stability of these locally developed systems. The SJ-100, commonly called the Sukhoi Superjet 100, is a regional Russian jet with a range of about 4,500 kilometers.
The SSJ-New is a variant of the Sukhoi SSJ-100 Superjet with all Russian components, replacing the Western parts that the aircraft was previously equipped with.

    • Russians have the technical and Industrial ability. The only problem is corruption and lack of economic / entrepreneurial prowess. They should be competing with Boeing, Toyota, BMW, Apple, Samsung etc in the global market. They have corrupt oligarchs who love importing western products rather than building their own.

    • Russia wanted to belong, and so it incorporated itself in the global economy, ceding many industries and technologies, to buy from countries where this might be cheaper or that more abundant. Russia has learned its lessons, and after this war, it will not be doing anyone any favours. It will be a Russia first country. The Europeans can forget about getting oil and natural gas at such concessionary and long term prices that this spawns a secondary market where thy resell Russian energy to each other at a profit. Russia will never allow any country to hold its foreign reserves, and that is why these countries should prepare to pay in gold or other tangible assert, rather in their own fiat currencies they can manipulate and impound when and where their avarice and political scheming so incline them.

Russia is a backward country that has been relying on western tech, airplanes (including 500+ stolen from leasing companies which cannot be properly maintained), commercial vehicles, cars, food for decades. Designed as small airfoils, winglets reduce the aerodynamic drag associated with vortices that develop at the wingtips as the airplane moves through the air.👌✌️

  • The main problems with the SJ 100 were its unreliability & miserable after sales service (poor spare parts supply) and as a result too high operating costs. This led to the major western customers CityJet and Interjet returning their 45 SJ 100s. The major Russian customer Yamal Airlines also returned its. Fewer than 100 of the approx. 210 produced aircraft flew in 2019. The manufacturer recently announced that civilian aircraft will not be delivered in Russia again until 2026 at the earliest!
