  • A problem with your description of Franz Ferdinand's death. It wasn't a miscommunication with the driver to turn around, the driver was actually one of his personal chauffeur's. In fact the Archduke went on to give a speech at the town hall afterward before even deciding to go visit the wounded soldiers but the hospital was off the planned route and his driver didn't know his way around Sarajevo so they had the mayor lead the cavalcade but he made a wrong turn and the archduke's driver blindly followed which led to that fateful deli death.

    • I died the night of august 4th, had it not been for the quick split second thinking of my fiance i probably wouldnt have been resuscitated, and id have stayed dead that night forever. Life is oh so incredibly fragile, its something we dont think about, or purposely ignore, but your entire consciousness, everything you know, could end in a heartbeat and thats it. No second chance, no do over, just like that every thought youve ever had, every action youve ever took, every emotion youve ever felt, every conversation, every friend youve made, all the people you love, literally ALL THAT YOU KNOW AND EVER WILL KNOW can be swept away in a second, fade to black for all of eternity. After having been dead for 6 minutes and being so insanely lucky i came back, i have a huge appreciation for life, it opened my eyes to how incredibly precious every moment we have is. I stood on the edge of eternity, and there is no feeling like staring the end in the face. Remember to let things go, and tell your loved ones how special they are every chance you get. Because any given time youll walk out your front door, and never walk back in. Cherish every moment of it ❤️

The internal pressures that the Soviet Union experienced was not a result of the border opening, but instead the opening of the border was caused by the internal pressures that the Soviet Union and its allies faced.

    • agreed all a failed D-day would do is possibly give the soviets more influence in Europe, Possibly up the the French border. The Nazis where loosing left, right and center all along the eastern front and slowly losing on the Italian Front. In other words by the time of D-day the Third Rich was already doomed, the only question was how much of it would fall to the soviets and how much to the western allies,

It’s literally the fkn golden rule in kindergarten smh my little brother happens to be half black, so obviously I don’t love him😂😂 but seriously, he’s everything to me…and that’s putting it lightly. I wouldn’t want to exist in a world unless he’s there too. I will literally make sure we live together, in the same house, until I’m gone. We are all we got, but are also the least lonely(and most lucky) people in the history of all fknnn history lol because nobody has someone’s back the way we do with each other. I swear, I can’t believe stuff like this was real sometimes…and that it was just normal. Like, I gotta imagine there were a good portion of people that were always against and knew it was right, but maybe just kept their mouths shut because they didn’t want to be shunned, right?? Idk, man…I just can’t wrap my head around it…at all.

    • Why would it need to be done? Unless a country that will never surrender and is willing to sacrifice 40% of its population, and would have even more casualties with a land invasion, then there would be no need.

  • I mean mlks speech was definatly powerful but the best of all time? How can anyone quantify that. Churchills we will never give up we will never surrender is probably my favorite and directly effected the resolve of the British while america thought about the war. If the brits didn't fight so hard we would be in a different world rn

  • My biggest issue is the massive leap from Franz Ferdinand not being killed to there would be no world war 1 and 2 is incorrect logic. The assassination was not the reason for the massive military buildup and many alliance treaties that drew everyone in. If it were not the assassination the tension was enough that any transgression would have started a war and would still lead to the events we had in our real timeline.

  • I hate going off topic, but at the 6:20 point this remarks on the loss to the Latin community. That IS unfortunate, but... Can anyone name a major ORIENTAL in the American music industry??? I can think of "The Association" from the 1960s who had ONE Oriental. WHY is this??? Like, WTF?
