    • @江俠 when you fight it you give a emotional reaction to your thoughts. when you are only aware of it, your thoughts wont affect how you feel. trying to fight your thoughts is a endless cycle. (thats basically the ego trying to fight the ego) the only way out is just being pure awareness, so your thoughts won't affect how you feel anymore. hope this helped you

    • The only thing that is appearing to stop you from enlightenment/self-realization/eternal life/knowing yourself to be unconditional love is identification with thoughts, emotions, sensations, perceptions and experiences instead of being aware of being aware and knowing yourself to be that unconditional love pure consciousness in which all thoughts, emotions, sensations, perceptions and experiences appear but are not inherently one with you; they are an expression of unconditional love; you are that infinite that is expressing itself as suffering/pleasure but inherently you are neither; you are that nothing/unconditional love/pure consciousness in which they are appear and by which they are perceived; Suffering/pleasure comes and goes; there is an awareness that is aware of them coming and going; that you are; remember and know what you are; never identify with anything that is appearing within you; since it appears within you; it can't be you; you are that in which it appears. When you abide as that in which it appears instead of identifying; nothing has a grip on you; if anything comes; it quickly goes; like clouds passing; only if you identify as a cloud then it will appear as if the cloud is here for longer than it is originally supposed to; if you simply rest as the awareness and do not identify; it will quickly dissolve; be unconditional love by being aware of being aware; this is the highest; this is what you are seeking in absolutely everything else; you are seeking yourself; you are seeking unconditional love; but you are looking outside of yourself; instead of being aware that you already are unconditional love. Love

    • I like your comment, David S. G A, it is very understandable and that happens, as the unfolding continues there are remanents of ego even if one realised the Self to a greater or lesser degree/had an initial awakening into reality. As time moves on this tends to smooth out and release, so relax there is nothing wrong, you are there already in any case :) the realisation continues and you can just surrender to it ❤❤

I do understand what he is alluding to. I agree. It is often an ego activity. It doesn't have to be, however. I like to comment if I have something to say on the topic that will challenge or support an individual on the level of consciousness. I am not looking to convince, but rather to get participants to think, to reflect, to muse. It offers the potential for deep introspection.

So give oneself the advantage to laugh at one's perceptions sometimes. It's often that the minds eye sees that which is not really true.

  • Intelligence need to be guided by something deeper ... a dimension of who you are ... wisdom and yet so challenging to practice... thanks for pointing Eckhart ... again and again you help me unfeed my egoic and disconnected self 🙏🙏🏽❤️ Talking about strengthening the ego … not really power food according to Tolle as I get it … wanting more Tolle I clicked on the ‘becoming a member of this channel’ - or was it my grasping and never satisfied conditioned self that did that 😂😂 kind of funny what I could get there in order to become a bragging Eckhart fan … badges signaling loyalty next to my name on youtube, special fan emojis to show the world my ego wrapped in Eckhart wisdom … if Eckhart came across this feature next to the entrence to his wisdom platform on youtube he would giggle from the bottom of his humorous being. ❤️

  • The need for being right has done a lot of harm and has made dialogue impossible to create. Yes, indeed, internet forums are mostly filled with angry, pathological "opinions" which show no respect or consideration. As Thich Nhat Hanh also pointed, such environment should be avoided, for it shows a great amount of toxic behavior.

  • Thank you so much Eckhard 🤗💞 Why always in English? As you can see Germany has now a higher level of wisdom archived and we changed the direction how it leads the EU and within the most to the (Western world)... Thanks for your support w/ your German content. Namaste 🕉️♾️☮️🕉️💫💖

    • Instead Of wanting those thoughts to end, you use that as an opportunity to loosen the grip of those thoughts over you. Here I will share the steps that I used to overcome my distructive thought patterns. Step 1: take a note and write down all the distructive thoughts clearly and elaborately(means what thought comes after which thought) Step 2: read the thoughts one by one and allow yourself to feel the emotions they created Step 3: sometime be aware that you will have emotions first before thoughts. This is the most important step to be aware of, otherwise the unconscious emotion will trap you. So be aware of that kind of emotion that triggers the destructive thought process. Thank you

    • We have to accept we live with them and continue anyway. Only then I believe do they lessen we invite these feelings to join us instead of run from them.

    • Bro until you realise you are not the person but the observer of the entire movement of the person your ego will stay with you unfortunately. Stay seated in the seat of awareness as often as you can. The old habits of identifying with form take time to wash away but you will get there. Wish you the best 👍

  • "I" am definitely guilty of trolling, and it continues to happen despite recognizing what it is really about (reinforcing the importance of the illusory, separate "me".)

    • Yeah, it happens to the best of us. The Internet and the alienated communication on it invites that. Noticing it is the first step to overcoming it.

    • Don't worry about it. Eckhart is trolling trolls in this video. I think it is more important to know whether you are trolling trolls or are being a troll.
