    • @@5StarMatchup I watched that with my grandmother and uncle, I actually thought McGahee was dead for a second, my uncle had the Undertaker gong as a ringtone and he played it as soon as Clark made the hit. Also, any chance you start doing your commentary on throwback videos in season? The more Steve narration the better!!

  • Literally the only time Tomlin’s Steelers beat the Patriots in a game that mattered. The Steelers stubbornly staying in zone contributed to Bill and Tom’s legacy more than people know

    • @@darkshinethakid4463 that AFC title game against the Pats after Shazier got injured hurts my soul to this day. They were right there with NE, just seemingly always got outfoxed. Also imagine taking that offense then and adding it to this D now. We’d never lose!

  • Blessed to have Ben as my generations qb. So many great games. We had relevant football for 18 years. I tried to never take it for granted.

  • The Patriots compartmentalized this loss and focused on their next opponent and the overall goal. A few weeks later the Pats would go on and win yet another Super Bowl (53), and the Steelers would yet again be watching from their couch.

    • @@MorningDew85 Here’s the problem when Ben had great looking stats(usually). The Steelers played the kind of football where if they won, Ben usually had a stat line like this: 22/29 for 253 and 2 touchdowns. If Ben had a stat line like this: 30/49 for 387, 3 touchdowns and 1 INT, they usually lost. The latter stat line is a game in 2010 against New England in which they were dominated all game and Ben had great 4th quarter stats to make the game look somewhat close. The Browns and Jaguars playoff games, same thing. Plays bad at the beginning and then finishes with great looking stats, in a losing effort. At the end of the day, Big Ben having Big stats didn’t always translate into wins, and usually meant he had some turnovers and didn’t play well in the first half.

  • Barry McCockiner looked at some of the best QBs in the game in the last 15 years and noticed that opposing kickers missed more against Brady and the Patriots than anyone versus anyone else. Talk about the lucky help!
