@jjohnston8908 ай бұрын
How it is working?
@RoboLegoMindstormsPL6 ай бұрын
@@RoboLegoMindstormsPL the 'bell' creates a seal against the tyre and presses the top bead away from the rim. This creates a gap between rim and tyre, and air is pushed in. When the set pressure is met, the force against the tyre sidewall is released and the tyre bead seats against the rim. Some air is released when the bead seats, as you can see in the video. This is the audible noise and vapour.

Toyota and VW in partnership? I was the T&W guy for Saturn taking over for Bill Z. way back in '95. I also worked on the one in Shreveport, LA as well as the one over at Comprehensive Logistics, Inc. At Saturn, the original balancer was a static balancer, which got replaced by a Schenck-Turner POS. Schenck-Turner eventually got black-balled from GM for a number of years, and I am happy to say that I had a fairly large role in that. :) Shreveport had a Micro-poise balancer. Not a bad balancer, just be sure to not try to balance a deflated tire. Otherwise it will spin the tire on the rim and let loose with a ton of smoke (and ruin the tire and wheel in the process).

These machines suck for it’s impossible to cut out bad material for it’s all automatic therefore unless the material is perfect there will be a ton of downgrades. In reality it takes about 2-3 hours for the production of a single tyre. Precision is not an issue anymore. Using a 3D printer at home knowledge of gear ratios it's a simple task to print a mechanical machine that moves an object very accurately very quickly. The difference is, you pay for that when making something reliable, and capable of lifting, turning and moving any kind of weight, however the precision you get here, is no better than anything you can make at home.

I’ve built one of these when I worked for industrial tech services for Toyota. I went to the Volkswagen plant in Chattanooga Tennessee. And installed it
I work at fanuc now , would love to be a I.T and be installing them in the field -
Toyota and VW in partnership?
@@trevor5293 How are things at Fanuc? I used to work for Standard Automation (a Fanuc paint shop installer).
I currently work at Goodyear and recently we got some of these machines and they are called single man. These machines are automatic and it combines both first stage and second stage processes. I currently do first stage and the liner, cord and wings are put on and spliced by hand. These machines suck for it’s impossible to cut out bad material for it’s all automatic therefore unless the material is perfect there will be a ton of downgrades. I gotta say I love what I do and that’s saying something for factory work.

@MAG OutdoorXtvt yes I don't mean that in general. It's all I've done my whole life, but even at that, it's still not that difficult. I don't mean to downplay how cool it is, but when you see it daily and learn how it all works, it really is easy.
