  • I am from Brazil. In Portuguese we have this exact expression "Money doesn't grow on trees" that is "Dinheiro não cresce em árvores" or "Dinheiro não dá em árvores". However, it depends on your point of view because if you have a farm with 2000 mango trees, then "Money grows on trees". 😉✌🍀

  • yeah. Just like the question, I'm asking myself constantly .why they don't speak the way I've learned? so, I have an American friend and sometimes understand him "barely".thank you that you are trying to teach the real American language to learners.

  • Lisa we have this expression in Brazil money doesn't grow up on trees but this another one you used is more common Money doesn't fall from the sky , we use it a lot
