Nick is gonna get sponsored by razer ?????
I honestly hope so.
Tonykid7 me to we would get some honest reviews maybe some handcam work would be sick . And it will maby help us make a choice of a headset or a keyboard or mouses right
MightyMike you realize sponsorships will make the reviews less honest, right? They will pay him to say good things...
Tyler Durden It's not like Nick's channel is all about reviews.
I'm not, they just sent me mouse.. they didnt ask me to make vid, or shoutout. i wanted to make the video because many ppl were upset about my last review comparing the old deathadder to the g402. but if i end up getting sponsored, i wouldnt mind so far their products having been good
deathadder in my opinion is one of the best gaming mouse. its simple, elegant, quite sturdy, and not as expensive as other razer mouse
+Slinky Doge Not sturdy, extremely non-durable in fact. Compact?... Yes.
+Caseydia 317 thats not true, been using the deathadder 2013 (same as chroma without the lights) and never used any mouse since is yet so simple and elegant and very robust, durable and sturdy.
Andi Gjata Kay.
+Andi Gjata I got mine 3 days ago and one of the rubber grips on the sides are peeling a bit. Doesn't really matter but cause I doubt it'll ever fall off
i dont know used mine for almost 1 year and a half now and i havent had any issues with it, neither the rubber grip peeling off
First time i touched a MacBook Pro 2015 i released the alarm in the shop.. soo i think im going for the logitech...
Heh

who noticed the "tinder dates" file at the top of the screen when nick is showing us the razer synaps
xD
Isnt he engaged? lol
+Jester Banana yeah now but this video is from january 2015
Kee Aikming lol
Hah
I'm so glad you mentioned the cleaning process of both the mice. It's one of the most important things people forget to include in their videos. Thank you very much, epic review!
I know the new model has better features and I say go for it anyone, but don't fall for this DPI gimmick.... You wont use more than 1000 DPI.
I use 2000
I use 1400 dpi... Am I weird?
Is it weird that I use 10,000 DPI...?
XxBreakingPointXx Just for standard day to day use? Tbh I didn't know 10,000 existed.. That is crazy unless you have 8 monitors lol...
RedVelocistar I actually use 1200 DPI myself, I was tired when I wrote this comment. I'd say past 1600 is extreme and unneeded unless you have multiple monitors.
Looks like Razer bought this guy. Last video he didn't gave a shit about razer now he's completely in love just because they sent him a new mouse. lol Personaly, i think that Razer is good, but A LOT OVERPRICED just like apple, the build quality of logitech's even the cheaper ones are far more solid than razer. Im searching for a new mouse, so i'm watching videos about it for almost a month, can someone give me a hint for a good one? I liked G502 a lot, does it worth it? :)
Sergiocrivelin G502 is the best you can get right now.
Sergiocrivelin Get the FinalMouse.
I'd personally recommend the Razer deathadder chroma, it's been amazing to me.
+rikoLas finalmouse build quality sucks too, great sensor, great weight, great responsive clicks, great shape, but bad build quality
Sergiocrivelin Says you. The G502 can go up to $90, at least in Florida. The DA, even on sale, can go for $30. Corsair also released a keyboard that goes for over $200! So, you tell me which brand is overpriced.
if i got a mouse for free i wud've favoured it as well
+Parth Rastogi if I had the lesser mouse I would be salty as well
Such is not always the case. I review knifes on my channel and occasionally a company might give or lend me a knife and I tell it like it is. One time I gave such a knife a negative review and the company wrote me back appreciating my honesty and said it helps them become a better company by making improvements in their products.
this happens only with new reviewers like the one here. That is why they are not considered to be reliable. Bigger channels like linustechtips are reliable.
+Wavester64 knives and in more than one..with a "v"
+Eternal Peace I love linus but that dude rocks out to kids bop and disney music..he said so himself
I love my Deathadder, I purchased it in 2007 when it first came out, warranty replaced it twice and after the warranty ran out I have probably opened it up 6 times now to replace the OMRON switches. I love this mouse, love the ergonomics, the wheel, the big buttons, the parts availability. It only has 1800dpi but I don't think anyone really needs anymore than that.
Really thinking of getting a Razor Deathadder Chroma should I get this one or a Logitech g402? Personally the look and the reviews of the Deathadder chroma seems good but what's your guy's opinion
Your eyes.... look like u didnt sleep for like 2 days
True
+Juan Diaz k
I just bought a g502 for Christmas after 2 weeks of using it the sensor began to act wonky. Sometimes it wouldn't respond when I turned or it seemed to change it's sensitivity mid game (I disabled the DPI switches). I got refunded the money for the mouse and I bought the Deathadder Chroma. Heard great reviews about the mouse when it works, but some people have said they break easily. Lets hope it can hold together :)
DUDE WE HAD THE SAME SITUATION EXCEPT MY 502 FEET CAME OFF AFTER 2 WEEKS ASWELL AS THE DPI WOULD CHANGE MID GAME!!!
Is it still working?
I have had the razer naga hex for over 3 year and i have nothing else than good to say about and it work very well
thanks for your imput man i really enjoy ur youtube alot, even nore than your stream. keep up the good work
I play fps and other games too. big fan of csgo. I am confused if i should get the deathadder chroma or the g502. the extra buttons would come in handy. also i am 16 and kinda have small hands.
KingAwol Deathadders are known to break down so there is a decent chance that yours might have issues. They are both the same in terms of tracking and are ergonomically pretty good. If you don't want to run the risk of having a broken mouse then the G502 for sure.
AwesomeGamer but then again, for playing fps gaming like CS having a mouse like the G502 seems a little over the top, I'm not sure you really need that many buttons on a mouse for a shooter game. The DA has a much nicer and more intuitive feel, but there is still the risk of it breaking, so I guess it's a compromise if you choose either.
Undaunted Yes, there are many buttons that you don't really need, but I suppose that it's alright as long as they don't get in the way. I honestly would go for a Deathadder if it was known to be more durable.
I would still play survival games and other types of games. its just I mainly play fps. Will probably go for the g502 since its cheaper on amazon atm
KingAwol Better choice. Have fun.
You just bashed up Logitech and you said nothing good about the G402. You got paid by razer my friend.
He mentioned the good stuff last video, and the Razer deathadder chroma got many improvements, and is in fact a better mouse and overall brand than Logitech. Just the facts of it.
+Sews Gaming "and is in fact a better mouse and overall brand than Logitech" the way you act is in fact "fanboyism", neither company is superior over the other, nor is one of these mice superior over the other, i went to the store today, and tried holding both mice, to me, the G402 felt better in the hand than the deathadder chroma, also, everyone i know who is a razer fan, and uses their mice for longer than 2 years, has had double-click issues on their mice, where the mice starts double clicking when you only press once, a pretty common complaint for razer mice, while i know no-one having an issue like that on logitech mice also the deathadder's cheapest price here, for the non-chroma version, is 75€, while the g402's cheapest price is 55€, which means it's 35% more expensive
what. he is telling the truth i have g402 nd i am pressing the fuckin extra buttons accidently
+Armin Basic Let's not forget that this is a review for the Razer Deathadder and not the G402. It would'nt be a review for the Deathadder if he was constantly complimenting the G402.
+Wh!TeGH0zT _ agree even i have the same problem
Excellent review, thanks for including all the information again. Very helpful!
Great review. My friend has a g402 and when i tried it out i also hit my finger on the two buttons next to the left click. But my friends g402 does not have a problem where the side button comes out slowly or gets stuck, probably just your mouse had an issue during manufacturing.
is this a good setup? Razer ornata chroma Deathadder chroma hyper x headphones hyper x extended mouse pad
iXplore ツ showoff
iXplore ツ You should get a mechanical keyboard
+CR7 RM lmao oranati is
J3SER Do some research, its a mech-membrane, which is not mechanical, smh kid
I have an apex m800, one of the fastest responding gaming keyboards you can purchase but im looking for some more artsy fartys lights
Once I checked the razer stats and had 13 km on csgo wtf.
I kinda wanted the extra buttons (even for CS) so that why i have the G402 and i love it... Crouch, walk, secondary weapon, reload and use as my buttons so i never need to take my WASD off so i can move to any direction, opening a door crouched while shooting all at the same time (harder to do when you dont have all of the many buttons but its rare that you need to do so)... Though i had some problems with the mouse not remembering my buttons (keeping the Logitech program open helped for it) I got the mouse as my xmas present and i havent had any other problems with the mouse (no buttons getting stuck)
Hey Nick, just wanted to say: good videos. Keep it up man. Your CSGO videos are informative and entertaining as well!
Steel series Rival or Zowie FK2 or riot.
+1
Do you have any questions about the Zowie? I'm currently using the FK2 here.
U got both of em? Are they similar when it comes to form / ergonomoc feel? Got a rival and need a comparison between those two..
Rival= Palm Grip Deathadder = Fingertip, Claw grip that's all you need to know
FK all the way. I own a Zowie FK'14. Best mouse I've ever used, and I've used a lot of them
Is it bad that I have a wireless mouse?
there has been always the "feeling" that wireless mice have a short delay that wired mice dont have, but if it works for u.. all good :)
Thank you! :)
GeekyNerd_FTW i moved from Razer deathAdder the old one .. to logitech g700s and that was my biggest mistake .. .. and yea wireless its very bad , acutally that more then just "Feeling" in some games u need fast scrolls . And with short delay . u will faill with scroll delay or the system will ignore some of that much scrolls .. and more problems .. like dynamic Soft Aiming . like if u using 1000 Polling rate or Report rate .. same aiming in 125 with wired mouse .. " sorry for my shit english . lel"
+Nick Bunyun i use a steelseries sensei wireless, i use it in wired mode so that doesn't really affect me, so i basically spent over £100 on a mouse and i dont use it for what it was meant for, gg xD
+iSuperBlack I want to buy the deathadder but I really dont know if my hand is big enough... but at the same time I have a logitech M310 Mouse which feels great to hold on and play csgo with. the dimensions on the logitech mouse are ( 62 mm width, 111 mm lenght, 39 mm high.. should I buy deathadder??
I purchased a razor kaipan 5 years ago, and it's just now starting to stutter and bug out. Is that a typical life span for a gaming mouse? If I had to guess I'd say I put well over 5000 hours of game play on it.
Thanks for the review Nick! 👍🏼😎
Razer is taking mouses to a whole new level.
***** Mouses is also correct
LampDamp No, it isn't.
english.stackexchange.com/questions/7537/is-the-plural-of-the-electronic-mouse-mouses-or-mice A simple google would also suffice, mouses is also correct.
Edgar Rafael *overpricing mice to whole new level.
plastic mice to a whole new level
No bashing just constructive critics, when you watch both videos after each other you immediatedly know that somebody (razer) changed your mind especially because you didnt meantioned pros you did before. I use a naga myself and i think its an awesome mouse but still your review just does not feel neutra, mainly because you didnt even meantion the only thing (rubber) that changed on the naga all that much in your argumentation why you sudddenly think the naga is superior. I do hope you take my critisism serious, Greetings Daniel
Btw the laptop comparison is way to extrem, the difference is not as big as you described it to be. Personally i think the naga feels pretty cheap (or rather not super well build) but i guess thats just personal prefference
I would not compare to something I don't own. I've owned old deathadder for over a year, g402 for about half a year and new deathadder for about a month. i was comparing to what i've actually held and used. as far as "pros" and "cons" .. i honestly didnt think to do it in older reviews. im new to reviewing so as ill make more, ill add more things that can be useful. still all of it is my own opinion :)
Nick Bunyun thanks for reading and answering!
Great review nick, well done.
what about the resonse time? Steelseries sensei raw blue frost has 1ms response time, so which one is the best for fps games like csgo, sensei or deathadder chroma?
10000 dpi does not matter if I anyways use 400 dpi ?
Thank you sir !
i didnt take the sens from pro's or something but i have 2 sens 400 dpi :D and raw_input 1 and 6/11 but i need to check or not check the point percision thingy ? its disabled from me cause i followed someone and did this and im using 1000hz like 2 days ago i heard someone said 1000hz=more response (information in something)
But I do use 1800 DPI.
I hate how some people (not anyone in this thread) who say that "high DPI is a gimmick" and "no one ever goes above 1600 anyway". Some people have multiple 4K monitors and need upwards of 2000 DPI and some people have really small mousepads or like to move their hands much less, thus needing higher DPI. I used to play CS:GO at 3600 DPI (overkill, but worked mostly) and it worked for me up to Silver Elite, where the "impreciseness" started to get to me. So you are correct, ***** , it's all preference.
***** Indeed it does.
... big hands **pause** girls.... :D
Nick Bunyun Do you think it really makes sense wich quality mouse and mousepad u use ?
awesome video man.. Thanks for the update. I was split between these mice and you locked in my choice..
Deathadder is 20 euros more expensive... no mentioning for that at all.
Já vi que és Pt em que loja ta a 20 euros ?
It's been increased.
dupla dinamica What?
Oh come on, it's not like 20 euros is a fortune... I'm not rich, not rich by far, but 20 for this beast of a mouse is nothing in my opinion.
+Sews Gaming yeah, but it's a 35% increase nonetheless, however i agree that's not really an issue, but if the differences are this small, you might as well pick the cheaper option
except macbooks are overpriced pieces of apple trash internally
except razer is overpriced pieces of perephiral trash externally
razer is costly but they deliver, while apple doesnt and just rips you off even more
I just think the razer product have bad build qualiti and use really cheesy an annyoing marketing
Noah R owned some logitech, trustmaster, msi, steelseries, and some other brands i cant think of atm, in the end it was cheaper as razer but not as "good" as razer, with good i mean razer so far is very sturdy (never broke anything yet of razer and some of the stuff from razer is quite some years old) i like the design, the lighting, the buttons on the mouse are placed just like i want them and in the material i want them, it does everything i expect it to do and razer synapse (software) is very solid imo, more so then any other brand, im not saying the others are bad, defintely not, some are probably even better build quality (steelseries keyboard) still when i look at the total package what razer has to offer, i cant pick a logitech, msi mouse over a razer anymore, and i owned 1 of both (msi broke and the logitech had irritating buttons and wasnt ergonomic at all) dont think im a razer fan boy!
It's not a bad mouse, I've personally had issues with it when it's a little older. The glue on the side rubber areas lost grip and I have had mouse buttons break.
Nice review I think I may get that mouse now do yo think it's worth getting the matching mouse mat
rly only counter strike..and u call yourself an fps player
cod kid
omfg, ik that this is a troll but i still get super triggered like wtf is wrong with me
CS has been around for decades... it's one of many true fps games, if not the only one.
***** its a troll...
+BadTomato Well then... I rest my case.
That's great. The new death adder has everything I don't need. No need for 100000000 dpi. No need for 100000000 blinking colors. No need for a software you have to register for in order to use. No need to know how far into oblivion I scrolled my mousewheel. No need to know where my mousemat is overheating from all this extensive heating. No need for GLUED ON rubberpads, that start to come off after maybe half a year, because human hands are sweating. Sweat, oil and heat are going to wear down the rubberpads, just like with my razer mamba. It's awesome though that the CEO is talking to normal ppl and that they send you this mouse. I feel happy for you. Now excuse me, I have to continue my neverending quest to find a suitable fingertip grip mouse, that doesn't seem to exist yet. Because we fingertip grip users seem to be a minority, that doesn't get any attention from mouse manufactorers.
I know this is 3 years old and you've probably already found that mouse you were looking for, but if you havnt try the Zowie FK2 or Zowie Ec2-a...they are great simple cheap mice and they are the best for fingertip and fps games
Just upgraded my G400s to G402 and I didn't like the shape of the G402 at all. The extra button gets in the way of the thumb and my cs in league actually went down because I had to readjust my hand position. I ended up using G402 for web browsing and G400 for gaming.
Good comparison, but I would like to add that the Razer Deathadder 2013 and later. Although feeling great and preforming well. Over time the rubber grips become less textured and more susceptible to oils from your hands and can become tricky to grip precisely. I've had mine 2013 edition for just over a year now and I have to make sure that my hands are uber clean before I do any gaming (not like I have grubby hand by any means). Just thought I should add my two cents.
Deathadder has been my favourite after IE3.0, and 2013 version is by far the best update can happen to it, as far as I know Chroma is just a RGB version of 2013, so I wouldnt be bothered to get a new one just for the lighting effects (to be honest most time it's covered by your hand)
Thanks for the review, I am thinking of upgrading already mate!
I have the razer black widow chroma, is it worth getting the death adder along with it or should I just get the regular death adder?
the razer deathadder doesnt have a rubbuer coating on the top sides, which you did not mention. I think that's an important aspect to mention in a review esp one where you're comparing two mice, one of them which have the coating ( old deathadder 3500dpi and g402) and one of them that does not (New deathadder series Chroma,2013,the new classic with 4g sensor)
Wow, im gonna get that thing! Using the deathadder 2013 atm but its a bit Borken now... Thanks for the Video Nick!
Try the g502? Not the best for huge handed palm gripers but imo best fps mouse
Between the G402 and the Deathadder which would you guys recommend for league and daily use ? Trying to find a good gaming mouse that will last. Thanks
I have a Deathadder 2013, (standard, not Chroma) and overall, it is a really good mouse. Recently, however, I have noticed that the mouse wheel hardly responds to me scrolling anymore. I have no idea why, there are some posts that say that the mouse wheel has been disconnected from the sensor. There is a way to fix it, but it requires you to open the mouse up entirely, which I am not comfortable doing. This is not a big deal, as I love the mouse enough to go buy another. Just a heads-up for anybody looking to buy the Deathadder!
Thinking of getting the deathadder should I? Or any other suggestions?
Hey Nick, can you make a review on the zowie mouse you got a 100% headshot rate with?
Great job, you don't just tell people about the product you give an explanation on how it feels, Don't know why I aren't subbed to you but I am now
What mouse should I have? I can choose from Razer deathadder Chroma, Steelseries Rival and Logitech g502 :/ I need help XD
Great vid, I got the death adder today and it's great!!
First review I have ever watched all the way through..I think it's his voice that got me:D
@Nick Bunyun The Blackadder 2013 already had the rubber sides!
Nick Bunyun Thanks for this video. It is very hard to decide what to get. I can't find any stores in the UK that have these out on display to touch and try. Frustrating.
My Razer Deathadder chroma's rubber grips on the sides have started to peel off after about 3 months of use
nick you should test out the G602 i have it and it is good quality and has nice grip
Now there is the deathadder elite,i have it and i heard that it has jitter problems and i want to know if it is true.
i highly recomend the Razer Naga mouse, though some people think its overkill because it has a numberpad on the side i think its great because i have buttons to switch to any weapon a push to talk and pretty much anything else "also i play world of warcraft and having 12 extra buttons is great"
can you make a review on the Logitech g502 and more mouse reviews in the future plz
So i have the g402 and i never accidentally pressed any button and never got stuck on the second button, but cleaning it is pretty hard, as you say
Nick is one of the smoothest guys i know.
does the different deathadders feel the same or does only the deathadder chroma feel good.
And now I've upgraded to the chroma, and I am quite pleased!
I have really big hands as well so finding a good mouse that fits is a huge struggle (no pun intended). I'm gonna try this in my local store to see if it fits properly before I buy it but damn you got me hyped for this mouse!
well i got this mouse... i plugged it in and it automatically installed drivers... mouse was clicking, wheel was scrolling but I couldnt move the cursor with the mice... it didnt respond
Hey Nick or anyone that might know how do you stream and get it to hear your team mates eg Skype or team speak
Good job I'm going to buy Razer Chroma because of you. Most ideal thing about the video was comparing other mice. Suggestion for further videos would be comparing the top 5 products that are listed in most pcmag ( or similar) websites.
so bro, is it good?
Corsair K65, and a Corsair M65, all rgb lit. Looks amazing.
Love the vids nick :D
how long is your hand in cm? mine is 17cm and is considered small. can you please do a review or comparative review of the logitech g 302. it has less buttons and a top-notch sensor. thanks. you're the best :D
+comedyman112 doesn't the g303 have the same amount of buttons?
Thx I will buy the Deathadder for the first time now .Hope it lasts long since a lot of razer's products are breaking up veeery easily.
If people want more buttons, didn't the release the Naga Chroma too a while ago?
thx 4 the review! I also bought one deathadder!
I didn't know a lot of this stuff about razr but now I do and u persuaded me to get a razr mouse so thanks nick!!!(and razr)
I had deathader 2013 and the scroll wheel broke after 3 months -.- SS rival or zowie fk 1 are my next choises
almost 7 years later and KZhead recommends me this Video
Please could you do the g502 ...a lot more improvements that I think you would love
Which mouse is better for me steelseries rival or this one. I have large skinny hands.
just wondering. What's the point of a pop filter if it's not gonna work?
A friend of me cant use the second hotkey of the Razer Deathadder. Can u use the second hotkey on mac
I've gone through 2 deathadders thinking the first one was malfunctioning after about 7-8 months in, right and left clicker will glitch out after holding down for few seconds in games like bf4 to aim and shoot, mouse #2 started doing the same after a few months in , don't know if it's a common problem?
Thanks for the input
One question Nick: How did you set the Mous Buttons for ingame Actions? Did you write it in the console or did you just click the button while choosing the action ?
is the same as changing a key on a keyboard, just click said mouse button when you on the action you want it to do in the settings.
7:14 I have the G502 and this gets annoying as hell. I sweat quite a bit so I need to clean my mouse often, and shit just gets stuck in all the little gaps in the mouse, which is very annoying.
can you have it where the lights go off if the mouse isnt being used after a couple of minutes but come back on once you move the mouse again? same as the laser optical underneath a mouse activates/deactivates based on if its being moved or not? also, can you set up the razer chroma black widow keyboard like this too?
I have the Chroma Mouse, Keyboard and Headphones and i must say they are absaloutly amazing!
i have the old razer deathadder wich is very good for me as a cs:go player. i dont need the colors, and the glossy sides don't annoy me.
I got the deathadder 3 days ago and already have 7 profiles of it on synapse
where did you get the classic deathadder with the new grip?
I've got to say, the Logitech G600 is up there! Sure it's an MMO mouse, but I use it for shooters nonetheless and find it so much more advantageous compared to others. Basically, it has up to 48 customizable buttons. The way that works is it has a third main mouse button (LMB, RMB then GShift next to it). There are 12 buttons on the side, making Primary, Secondary, Knife, every nade, bomb, push to talk etc. accessible faster than any mouse. On top of that, it has a button below the triple function scroll wheel, that changes the 12 side buttons into another 3 customizable presets. Along with changing the button presets, all of these functions can act as an on the go DPI changer. For example: I use 2 sens with 400 DPI (can go up to 8200 btw) and when I hold down the GShift, my DPI changes to 800, doubling my sensitivity. This allows me to do fast 180 turns, effortless AWP flick shots and being able to surf, bhop etc. all with the press of a button. Not once have I accidentally pressed a button, their hard rubber allows grip and a sturdy design, as well as LED lighting and angled surfaces so you know which button you're pressing without looking. It's in depth program allows absolute, full customization of every feature, including poll rates from 125 to 1000, separate X and Y-axis DPIs, toggleable acceleration, per profile pointer settings (recognizes which game and changes custom settings accordingly, as well as recognized controls which can be mapped from the program) up to five on the go DPI presets, 16.8 million colours as well as pulsing, cycling, static, sleep timer and per profile backlight. TL;DR: The Logitech G600 is AMAZING for shooters!
death adder is my fav mouse sense the first one just because how it feels in your hand.
3:06 can you select the Razer firefly mouse pad? I don't see it there.
What is with all the dpi??? I like to move my mouse around and not keep it stationary in the middle. That gives you a bad aim. razer is awesome though :)
I have razer deathadder chroma, i hate only one thing about it: when turn my PC on, need wait for login first, before mouse sensitivity is on my option.
