These videos are meant to be educational and funny, so if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!
0:00 Intro.
0:05 Toyota Tundra. The truck had a ton of other issues that the customer as well did not want properly repaired so the shop refused to work on it. They think the work was done by the customer.
0:30 The technician said the car needed new cooling fans, which the customer said he would do himself.
0:48 CD was inserred upside down.
0:57 Came in for airbag recall. The technician had to disconnect the battery before the recall. Hopefully, the hood stays down for the customer!
1:05 The technician didn't say what caused this issue, but maybe something was connected backwards? Let us know if you know the answer.
1:08 No extra info.
1:19 The customer ended up trading in their 3rd-Gen Prius, so the shop replaced the high-voltage battery harness to fix the issue.
1:28 A friend of the customer's pulled this prank on him.
1:35 The customer got a new front and rear differential installed. There's no mud underneath the truck so maybe the customer tried to launch his truck in 4WD.
1:46 Let's hope they don't get into an accident.
1:53 Whoever did work on this car should be staying far away from tools and double checking their work. The mechanic also said the subframe looked to be bent as well.
2:12 An easy trip to the bottle depot would resolve this for the customer.
2:20 No extra info.
2:29 Anywhere can be a coin holder until it causes an issue...
2:43 The vehicle had a wiring issue.
2:52 Truck was in for a transmission line leak but the mechanic heard a noise when he drove it in and decided to check it out. The customer is lucky that broke at the shop and not on the road.
3:04 Outro. Thanks for watching!

    • I ran into a similar issue with a customer. I thought it was a lockout, but I get there and they can get in just fine. Just can't get the e-brake to release. It took me a bit of fiddling and a really close inspection to find an screw for some eyeglasses (you know, those damn near microscopic ones) jammed in the switch. I used a pick to pry it out and it went flying but the brake released. Car was pretty spotless otherwise.

I've encountered MANY vehicles with rustwelded parking brakes from never being used. (F-150's are notorious for this).

    • Baffling, and even worse, so many outwardly refuse to even try. I used to service water softeners, they are pretty simple and reliable despite maybe sounding scary to a non mechanical person. We had a 5 item checklist that I'm not kidding a 5 year old could work through. It was the 5 most common issues with the machines and also the easiest to fix ones too. So many refused to even entertain the idea of trying these 5 things. So probably 8 times out of 10 I'd get 65 bucks (in 2003 money) to plug the machine back in. The best was a guy that had the machine plugged into a power strip that was plugged into a 50ft extension cord that was plugged into another power strip that was plugged into a 25 ft extension cord that was plugged back into the first power strip. Soo he made a big no power loop. Turns out I fixed his drill and circular saw that day too. He actually facepalmed and said "I'm an idiot" as he handed over the 65 dollar check. Good times.
