  • She’s off to a new home. It has been heartwarming to read all the comments and messages reflecting on times in the MoHo. :) Thank you all for being part of my life and part of this exciting and emotional transition to the rig life and sale of the motorhome. So so so excited to be hitting the road and bringing exciting new adventures very soon.

  • That gunk on your ignition module is heat sink compound, I would recommend some fresh compound to keep that new ignition module alive.

    @TimboRobo23@TimboRobo23Ай бұрын
    • Yep. Was going to mention that. Those ignition modules were also prone to failure and erratic performance even with the compound. My wife had a Mustang with the same design, and there was nothing more scary than that module faulting when making a left hand turn, and just hoping the guy coming at you didn't try to beat the yellow.

Pretty cool that your adventures would inspire a retired lady to chase her dream of travel like that!

  • That white gunk under the ignition control module is heatvsink compound. It's to conduct excess heat away from the module. Keep the bolts tight and good heat conductance.

    • @@turji Please explain why the NDP are any better than the Liberals, they are propping up a corrupt government for a pension? They delayed the election by one week so more people would get pensions to the tune of $125M. So set me straight with your logic, or lack there-in. So not big L, the only big L here is the Canadian taxpayers.

      @schwags1969@schwags1969Ай бұрын
    • @@turji Funny, I have changed my share of them and never seen the paste, just white crunchy powder. Heat-sync past tends to just be paste still. Big L, I thought that was a bit uncalled for. I have been a professional mechanic for over 30 years, so you can imagine I have seen a few of those things.

      @schwags1969@schwags1969Ай бұрын
    • That paste is needed on them in those older rigs. I went through a couple of them in a few months on my bronco when I first got my license and learning to work on it. Was told put it on, then clean it and reapply it once a year. After that, I never had that problem the three years I had that truck.

  • I know you already sold it but I love this as an advertisement for the Moho. You even showed the work you did to make it ready; not something everyone gets when they buy a used vehicle. "I think that's the problem", nope, "okay, now this part". And tada! Love it. So detailed and still entertaining even though it's not exploration.

  • Someone is going to benefit from buying this rig! As an owner of a 1992 Toyota Motorhome, older is better! The new rigs they build now are so flimsy.
