I HATE the fact my Sim walks around looking at his phone. I don’t care that it's "how people behave now" that's not how I want my Sims to be. I hate people doing it in real life, so I don't want it in games.
Exactly. I don't give a damn if it "reflects real life". Hate it in real life, don't want it forced on my sims too. Every single sim regardless of their age or traits or whatever becomes a phone addict. Like, I might want to create a character whose addicted to that shit but not EVERYONE ffs.

Yep, I enjoyed sims because it was an escape from our intolerable society we have now in which we all have our phones in our faces. I think it makes the sims look tacky and mindless
My son loves nature so I clicked go for walk in nature but ALL she did was look at her phone. She picked it up, looked at it, put it down, and picked it up RIGHT after
Sims has gotten so bad that you can’t even have your sim go to a bar and order a drink without an npc taking the drink or your sim swiping it and it disappearing all together. I hate swimming and having my sim check their phone MID swim, and lately it feels like you have to force your sim to do an action after 3 failed attempts. There are way too many glitches and bugs and I don’t see a resolution to anything at this point. Half the packs don’t even work properly. I had to turn off wants and fears because it kept making my sim “very angry” and didn’t detail what the fear was. Even with it switched off, it still forced through fears which is super irritating when you want to do things but your sim is raging. May have to delete the game 😓
My biggest issue with this game has to be that everything takes 3 days to do due to animations every fucking second. Eating in 30 minutes? Not today! What about 3 hours!
@@dotManiac exactly!!! Or when you try to do an interaction and they just stand there for a good hour in the game before speaking. Planned events also are awful- half of the party just stands outside of the location.
God I hate it when sims take my drink. What’s even worse is when they come to your lot and decide to cook on your stove.
I get that too!! I have to click on my sims and his homework at least 3 times for him to actually start working on it, he just keeps picking it up and putting it on the floor 😩

Modders are ALREADY on the way to save the day with tweaks for the pack and I can't wait. There's someone who already has a mod to add a max of 30 students to a school AND someone working on talking during class/consequences for doing so, and locker tweaks like assigning NPCs lockers. Doing what EA should have done.

I think the most annoying thing for me is all my Sims friends proposing to my already engaged sim who is in a happy relationship. Then when I accept it to see what happens, getting a text from my original fiance congratulating me ...ugh what?

Yes, I noticed that the Sims4 is unintentionally polyamourous friendly. I had my sim have an affair in front of her husband in their shared bedroom and he didnt care one bit.
The thing about sims 3 breaking down... it broke down bc it was too ambitious for the time. The sims 4 is breaking down bc EA doesn't care

My theory: you can't interact with Sims while they're in the classroom because developers couldn't get the Sims to sit AND perform interactions. Rather than risk creating My Wedding Stories 2.0, they focused solely on sitting. As boring as they are, the classrooms technically work. The students sit at the same time and earn skill points.
I agree. It works. But it is rather immersion breaking to not see your sim fall asleep on their desk or not pay attention in class or pass notes or something. following them to school seems pointless even though it works. Maybe if the classroom sequence could predetermine a scripted sequence based on mood, emotion, or relationships that would play when they enter the classroom (or other ideas) The thing is, I think there is some way to make it work and serve a visual immersive purpose even with the games inherent limitations. I think it's disappointing that that didn't happen, for whatever reason, be it lack of ambition, creativity, staff, cost, time, or something else.
I went to a badish high school (it taught me how to study and I did well at uni) - when teachers got everyone to sit together it was quite an achievement (of the teacher) to see.
My sim keeps getting the want to divorce his husband and it says "he's fallen out of love." But they are fated mates, have several enamored sentiments, full relationship bars, an active woohoo life, and hardly ever fight. It's so damn annoying bc my sim is romantic, so it's not like he doesn't want to be married? Half the wants make no sense.
I had Wants/Fears turned OFF but still had 2 Fears assigned to one of my Sims at the same time! Turning Wants/Fears on and off again fixed it, fortunately.
That happens to me and I have to turn it on and off multiple times while I play.

Phone addiction should not be normalized.
I feel two ways about the sims-on-phones update. It's funny to see them use them while walking because I do that, and it ads to their character (if they're that type of character...). However, when my sim was on a date and their date kept pulling out their phone rather than talking I wanted to jump into the screen and beat the shit out of them.
innit😂😂I had to literally reset my female sim everytime she went on her phone on the date and I have the get famous bug aswell where she’s not actually famous at all and people react to her as though she is, EA needs to fix up.
I finally gave up on the franchise. I've spent so much money and I can't even play properly. This is all so ridiculous. As my ex who was a more in-depth gamer said to me "the Sims is the only franchise paying to get a complete game"
“It’s a reflection of real life society” I have to disagree. Sure sims constantly on their phones is reflective of SOME people. But, constantly using your phone certainly isn’t a reflection of how I behave. I also know quite a few people that don’t constantly use their phone. What’s annoying about the phone thing is that *every* sim does it.

I live in a remote area so it's kind of expected that we have our phone with us but neither my husband or I ever do and we have friends in the local area who are the same. We're forever waiting days for one or the other of us to notice text messages or missed calls and reply. Lol. I only notice because I use the phone as my alarm for putting the chooks away at night! So agree it's not really a reflection of everyone.

When we got Tiny Living, Paranormal and Cottage Living I thought TS4 had some remaining dignity. Ugh, silly me.
It is a shame that they didn't have field trips where you have to find metals and other collectibles to turn in. Your in science class so make a potion or if you're a prankster make a stink bomb. Art class make an some sort of quality painting. You know, stuff you do at school? My guess they knew the ai couldn't handle that so they made it as bare bones as possible. So your sims just sit there and you get to watch. Amazing 👏

One of my Sims is at the top of the scientist career and still has a fear of a dead-end job. Like, come on, you make around 334 Simoleons an hour, stop complaining, your salary for one day is higher than what a normal paying job irl pays in a month....
The replicating machine gets used a lot in my game to mass produce fear-be-gone :)
Part of the new policy on mods includes something about them being able to address inappropriate mods, including mods that "contain obscene, objectionable, or harmful content". I think the changes to WW and EV are probably stemming from there
IMO WW should be left as is as long as they don't include zoophilia and underage-adult relationships. I'll admit to using it for more than periods, first impressions and (now in S4) orientation, but as long as we stay within adult-adult, the mod has a clear "Do not download if you're under 18" warning and we clearly state "I'm using a 18+ mod" if putting out any content with it, it should be allowed. I can't say anything about EV since I had it only for a bit and it wasn't really my jam (same with basemental).

I had my teen "graduate early" and the program said she dropped out! Even though everyday after school it kept prompting her to graduate early! Also, I hate that we can't get rid of wants. I had a pregnant sim and her husband just wanted to get her pregnant while she was already pregnant. So many other things need to be fixed.

The whicked whims thing is probably due to the crackdown on mods in general recently. Not because the creators are now suddenly "uncomfortable" with it. You can still download it in lovers lab. My guess is they removed it on their official site so they don't have the sims team on their doorsteps one day. It's a sneaky way to still keep it in without getting in trouble or having to ACTUALLY get rid of it.

@@kaciemejias8630 Actually. They removed that too. But like I said they uploaded a permanent download (one that'll work even with updates) for everything they don't want on their official site. They just don't want EA to force them to remove it so they made a "safer" way. It's just so it becomes "out of sight (for the EA team) out of mind".
It would be funny if the phone obsession was just SOME Sims… or limited to the teen lifestyle, maybe, but even then would be better as just some. Like assign it silently and randomly, like left-handed and right-handed. But I can’t get my adult Sims to take care of themselves, talk to each other, complete their work tasks… all because they won’t get off their phones! That’s just frustrating. I basically can’t play the game anymore. Everything is blocked by the phone obsession. 🤦🏼♀️
Unfortunately wants and fears are way more pointless than whims in my opinion. Because I haven't bought the new high school pack the only wants and fears I have are base game. Which means all my Sims want to do is listen to radio stations, level up a skill or talk about something. And for some weird reason my two child Sims come home every day with the scared of the dark buff. They don't have it when they wake up for school, but when they come back they're both scared. Every time I play, which is every day, I find something else that's wrong. Last night I found that nobody could ask father winter for presents. I haven't been able to get it to work for toddlers for a long time, but last night nobody even had the option. I took my Sims out to eat and now that's even worse than before. Not a single one of them wanted to stay seated. And when I finally got them to draw on the placemats as soon as the food came everyone picked up their food/drinks and went and sat somewhere else. I literally couldn't get them to come back to the table until they finished eating. For the first time I'm considering taking their autonomy away because nobody does what I want them to do. I tried putting them all in a group last night and it just wouldn't work. I don't know why. They just kept leaving the group even though they were home and everyone lives together. It's just getting really frustrating to play when it seems like nothing works right.
I bought the sims highschool pack, yet all my sims wants are watch cooking show, be friendly to someone, cook a dish etc, it’s nothing actually highschool related idk if everyone else got that too
@@valeriiabaliura1258 I don't know if that's a problem for everyone. I don't know anyone that owns this pack so I can't compare mine to anyone else's. I just think that we have so so many different packs, why would they just put in base game and high school years? I don't get it like why would they think that's acceptable. They had to have known that players thought whims were too shallow and we wanted something like wants and fears like in the Sims 2. So when they came out and said hey we're taking away whims and adding wants and fears that we would all expect it to be similar to the Sims 2. Then we find out that wants and fears only come from base game and the newest pack, it's just a let down. I was expecting it to be similar to the Sims 2, I assumed they'd add wants/fears from all the packs because people complained that whims stopped at a certain point and nothing was ever added from newer packs.

I know, like I said I've had that particular bug for quite awhile, but last night when I played through winterfest I literally didn't even have the option for my adults, elders, teens or children Sims to even ask for presents. I had the option to fight for presents with a couple of the Sims, but nobody even had the option otherwise. With the toddlers I have the option and they get up and move like he's going to give them a present, but nothing happens.
I'm personally conflicted with mod censorship. They're certainly ones that I'm kind of against. But it also makes me think that they're all kind of on edge so there's sort of self-centership.
I don't like it. I play with occasional teen pregnancy and drug use not because I want to sexualize teenagers, but because those are experiences that some teens realistically go through. I hate how everything in the Sims 4 has become squeaky clean and sanitized without any of the rough edges of real life. I wouldn't mind as much if the Sims 4 had some of the interesting consequences that the previous games had, where your teens could actually get in trouble. But as is I rely on mods to give teens some hint of life.

Need to say this in case anybody is in this situation; in the U.K. while it is illegal to leave high school, they can't force you in so you can just stop going. It's a lot of faff with people threatening your parents and like wouldn't recommend if you can avoid but it can happen. & While it would be crazy expensive to privately resit your GCSE's and A-Levels (possible just pricey), English & Math GCSE part time classes are free to all adults who don't already hold a C +, and an Access course (also free) is the equivalent to A-Levels in terms of getting into uni - they have them for everything, law/social sciences, medicine, nursing etc. I say this as someone who left HS aged 14 with nothing, now has 2 GCSE's, an Access course, and is about 3 weeks away from her BSc in Psychology, and will be trying to enter postgrad Medicine in the next couple of years. If you're in the U.K. at least, there is always a way go back and get it! (but also this pack sucks ✌🏻)
I'm Slovak and here you have mandatory education from ages of 6-15, after that you can "drop out" without it being reported to authorities. Most people are in 1st grade of highschool at 15, a few are in their 2nd if they get admitted a year early. We have various types of HS, the trades/dual type is 3 years with apprentice letter and addditional 2 for graduation diploma, and 4yr schools are more general education that has a uni follow up. There are also gymnasiums that have either 8yr curriculum (from 5th grade to end) or 4yr curriculum (like the general 4yr types). Generally, people tend to "drop out" more in uni since most places want at least HS graduation on the CV, unless it's a dead-end factory.

Whenever I'm in public, I hardly ever use my phone unless I'm waiting for something or I need to check something. I can't even think of a time where I've been busy running errands or whatever and I've picked up my phone to check Instagram. So I definitely believe that the Sims constantly picking up their phone whenever possible is annoying and should be an OPTIONAL thing, not a constant thorn in our side as players. Ugh.
The world is too sensitive now when the reality of teen sexual activities is like too real to disneyfy teens in The Sims to be wholesome. Makes the game boring.
WW actually had a cheat that if you enabled, teen sims could do sexual stuff with adults 💀. I feel like only that should've been removed (unless it's been removed already idk I haven't played with that mod since like 2020)
It also removes the game's rating. It doesn't feel like a rated T game without mods.

Especially if it's a mod, I feel like the only thing EA should be able to restrict with mods is if they're being sold for money. If someone paid for the game they should be able to play around with the code and share their creations for free.
I have a feeling there will be better mods that rise out of this. Mods that replace and take over the previous ones.

I’ve seen some creators announce that they’re deleting all their CC from the internet and will not be making any more from now on, because they can’t hide their content behind a paywall. I’m a console player so I’m very detached from the CC community, but I find it so odd that it became somewhat normal to have to pay for mods.

The thing with wicked whims is an abolute bummer. I've been missing how teens school day was so crazy with zerbu's go to school mod and wicked whims installed. So much was happening and my teen sims got more freedom to do anything I wanted.
I assume Sacrificial banned his mods in Copperdale High due to the school shootings going on in the U.S. That majorly sucks. I would love to have my sims get into brutal fights, rob several teens, etc. A school setting is perfect for it.
I just stopped buying Sims 4 packs, I haven't bought the werewolf pack nor the high school pack. I will just wait until the eventual Sims 5 comes. And maybe I will even skip it.

I know it was said that the sims 4 has many years ahead of it, but i truly believe this is the beginning of the end

There is nothing more romantic than to have your sims having a "Steamy Conversation" with each other then in the middle of all the flirting, they whip out their phones. Imagine if that happened in real life. Oh... and while I'm on the subject of HSY features... before I updated my game, I was playing a Gardener/Florist. He had just gotten to the top of his field. He was working only four days a week and was making 1.7K per day. As soon as I updated the game and resumed with him the first thing I noticed was that every plant in his square garden planters were empty. They were just gone. All those perfect and spliced plants. At that same moment he, all of a sudden, wanted to go and cry because he thought his job was pointless. Is this going to be a thing? Am I going to play a sim and raise their skill levels and raise them through the ranks just to have them want to quit their job? Hell, I'm going to make them all Babysitters from now on so that when they want to quit their job, it'll make sense and I'll not have to bother wasting time raising their skills. Not only that, but he had two bubbles where the whims used to be (wants?), each one saying he wanted to listen to different music because he likes those genres. On the spiky one (a fear?) he wanted to do one of those bubbles and then talk to someone about it to make him feel better. ?!?!? Really? So far, I'm not impressed with this pack and I haven't even bought it yet.
In my high school chemistry class, some dude had the bright idea of spraying himself with pepper spray after everyone told him not to, and then he had to go to the nurse and they called poison control. But then, we were left in the room with the doors closed and so we were just slowly choking to death during class but everyone kept trying to hold it in cause we aren’t snitched
Your Sims can absolutely have more than one fear at any given moment. It's just that they can deal with ONLY ONE at a time. They can have only one action to work themselves out of a fear available to them at any given moment. There are mods designed specifically to disable every single fears. Only got the one to suppress the fear of dead end job. A Game Changer. No more fear of a dead end job JUST AFTER getting a promotion and while having a «Sky's the limit» buff.

I think at this point they should do like a public/selective testing with the community. We get to try out the pack early and then after a certain time its removed, bugs are reported on, fixed to the best of their abilities (sad that I need to add this), pack is officially released, probably still contains bugs but less so which can hopefully be fixed in a later patch. Maybe wishful thinking idk.

I'm actually for the mod censorship, especially of the extreme violence mod keeping the violence out of highschool. In America right now there's just far too many school shootings and that violence is way to fresh in everyone's mind. Honestly one of mu biggest fears for this pack was that someone would mod it into a school shooting simulator 🤢

I had my teen sim go for a jog in Copperdale and of course she kept looking at her phone, but at one point she kept going into the water deeper and deeper looking at her phone and keeping on going. It was a bit concerning. It was in that left swimming area if you’re in the pier and out facing the water… the left side there.

When your aspiration matches your career and your high in the career I find fear of dead end job stupid I don't even have high school years yet and my cook SIM has this and she's maxed out her job rolling in wealth aka not a dead end job

Had a glitch where after my sims daughter pranked the white boards no one could go to class so every single student got lectured all except my sims son who got detention despite being innocent
My sims keep walking through walls for some reason and random sims keep popping up in my house even though I have no trespassing and the private dwelling lot trait 😵💫 the lag is unbearable as well. Took out the mods folder and no change 😭
In a lot of ways I wish the Sims team would just stop with the sims 4. No more packs, no more updates, just stop. Because then that way the modders could go hog wild and really experiment without having to worry about everything breaking on an update. Who needs proper sims packs when modders and cc creators can just do it themselves.
i really hate how i cant cancel the "wants". Like with whims, i can click on x and make them go away and generate new ones. Now, I have no choice but to do their wants, because if i do not i will get the fear of unfufilled dreams...
Thing with high school is i had no one to help me with my work, i needed someone to watch over me and make sure i did my work or i couldnt do it. I got in trouble once from troubled teens and they made u do ur work. I said i would finish school if i could stay in that class. But they wouldnt let me i told all teachers principal etc i was gonna quit and get GED and only 2 tried to talk me out of it but still no one to offer to help with my homework etc. OR find out what was wrong with me etc. So i came to school only participated in art and slept all day in school, until i was 18 to take GED and that was it.
I can agree with not allowing the extreme violence mod in HSY and I admire them for the decision. As a high school teacher, we face fear of the rising "popularity" of school sh***ings and many other forms of violence and I don't believe TS4 HSY should be a possible *realistic practice* place for troubled individuals.
i doubt that this would change anything tho, there's literally so many other games that could acomplish this exact scenario, TS4 HSY not being a possibility won't change a thing, it's like a water droplet in an ocean, this is basically just trying to cure the symptons of the disease, and not the disease itself
@@_The.Queen.In.Pink_ some of us need more hope than that to get through this world. And you're correct, but I don't agree completely. In my home as a child, The Sims was the only game I was allowed to play. It was the only thing my mom allowed into the house for me aside from some theme park builder I had and SpongeBob. If that is the case for others, then yes, not allowing that form of extreme violence could make a difference. It could keep 1 troubled kids mind from going down a particular path and bringing it into their real world. When something like that happens, saving 1 life could save dozens. So yes, drop in the ocean or not, that 1 drop could save lives and that's all I need to appreciate the decision of others.

Its so weird to me that it seems like people are only getting the pets (especially ghost pets) being celebrities glitch now because of the patch / high school years - ive had this glitch for basically forever and random sims will become global superstars for no reason only to revert the next time i see them. Its just another one of those annoying glitches thats existed in my game for as long as ive played so ive learned to ignore it. Like my sims always walking through walls and whatnot.

When my teen sims go to school, the lunch lady is there bright and early, but during lunch time she's nowhere to be found Silly glitch, but a bit annoying Also my teen sim's boyfriend keep inviting their mom to prom, which is kinda weird And my whole household aged up at once after going from edit world to life mode, and every elder sim my sims knew randomly died at the same time, including one that was visiting my household Definitely as glitchy as it can get lol
Same :( a girl from school comes in my house without knocking and asks the mother to go to prom with her like not even once but repeatedly?? and none of the teenagers seem to know her
@@valeriiabaliura1258 YES, this dude I was talking about did it so many times. They randomly ask members of my household when they have a romantic interest in one of my teens, but rarely ask them lmao
I think they should have added fire drills and they’d just pop up on random days at random times, everyone goes outside and waits for like 1 hour or sm
I think they should have made it to where you can turn off if you want your sim to be on there phone or not or maybe they dont do it so frequently. I like it too but sometimes it gets annoying when my sim is having a convo and they keep looking at the phone lol.

So anyone know how that patch is going? I haven't been able to play with saves since the first shit storm patch, and I ain't jumping in and updating my mods if they just broke more stuff again. The phone thing infuriates me. It's fine for sims who would do that, but not EVERYONE. My self-sim doing it is the worst. I only use my phone when I have to. There's an 80 year old man in my apartment complex who uses his phone more than I do. It's grossly out of character. Those synchronized students.. jesus. It is a life simulator, for pod people. Also hey I was really excited for wants and fears! Sims 2 is my favorite game in the series. Now I want Whims back... :/ My playstyle pretty heavily utilized it. And while it was shallow, at least it had decent variety, made use of my sims traits, and wasn't a buggy disaster.. ugh. I'm going to be real irritated if it makes my sim afraid of the dark on top of the phone shit because while I do have a lot of phobias, that very much ain't one of them.
just know the first patch didn’t fix everything, or barely anything. age glitch hasn’t changed, there is still incest wishes, etc. it’s still not safe to change your life span to long or short unless you want them to age up randomly regardless of aging being off
The prom event was quite a pleasant surprise for me. I expected a copy of the basegame party event that's just exclusive to teenagers, but it actually didn't felt that boring. The only complain I have is pack cross-compatibility which would go back to the lack of testing and doing that with just a basegame and the new pack, something that needs to change in general. If you have Parenthood and set curfew (no matter which time you choose, all of the three options would be a problem here) your Sims responsibility will go down a LOT as the prom starts at 7 PM and ends at 11 PM, so if you have a teen with maxed out responsibility and a curfew set at the earliest option (which just so happens to be 7 PM), their responsibility would go all the way to the negative very quickly. I had curfew set to 11 PM (the latest option) and during that little bit of time it took my teens to go home after the prom ended their responsibility went from max to almost 0. I don't know if that's a glitch on it's own since it felt a little bit too fast, but what do I know, I usually don't let my Sims outside for the night at all. And the Sims becoming celebrities is a visual glitch. They're not really celebrities, they don't function as one nor do they actually have the celebrity level it shows them to have. I found that out when trying to erase their celebrity status with MCCC only to discover they don't have one to erase in the first place. They don't even have the interactions on their pie menu that celebrities do. It's also not a new bug, it has happened in some rare cases in my game a few times since the My Wedding Stories pre patch, it's just much more frequent now. It's annoying but also doesn't do anything beside the icon being there.

My teen sim always has a new crush to someone she just met and its annoying. Also the simfluencer and video game streaming careers are just garbage, you can barely earn from it so its not good for playing rags to riches at all.

Teens in this game are definitely meant to be 16/17/18 (and that is assuming that prom could be a "junior prom," but I prefer to think of it as senior prom which would have the sims on the older side of this range. I don't agree that teenagers are being "recontextualized." You also get to see your sims graduate. They're obviously at the tail end of high school and I think most teenagers are experimenting sexually at that point. The sims team still has the "mess around" option which is basically woohoo for teens, and even added a ton of new woohoo/mess around locations in the new world. I don't know why mod creators are being so sensitive and having such a change of heart all of a sudden.

I think it has to do with the updated modding policy. I think it said something like they can ban whatever they feel is inappropriate, so I think the modders are taking out anything that might get their mods banned.
I haven't updated my game since before werewolves and the more I see, the more I'm happy with that decision. I don't even think I'll update for the babies in January, as much as I would enjoy it.(although at this point, I don't trust them to do it well.) I would rather have a game with less bugs. So I'm ok with having no wants and fears, or sims on their phones. Hearing that they outsource their work makes a lot of sense. Until major changes are made, I'm playing in offline mode.
I stopped playing the game indefinitely, since the game is too boring to play, plus with certain mods not working anymore just ruined the experience for me. I was very unaware of wicked whims and the extreme violence mod not working in the sims anymore kinda surprised me. Since teens have sex and get into crazy things. So the realism is taken out of the game for me.

I literally startet to play the sims 3 in low graphics again because I'm so frustrated with the sims 4. I feel like all sims are uncontrollable toddlers and never do what I tell them to.

The game is buggy in other areas now. The UI doesn't change color on the needs and the beds glitch out every time my sim wakes up. I thought it was all my cc and mods, but I test played the game without any of it and the bugs and glitches still occurred. I also have teens who thinks my teend parent are cool and if I agree with it they have a romantic relationship.
10:13 literally one of my sims actually just disappeared from my game, they aged up from teen to young adult and just completely disappeared from my household. Luckily I didn’t save so I just quit the game and restarted but still
Has Anyone Else noticed how when you go to the settings in the game and turn off wants and fears and then go to manage worlds and then go back to your sims the wants and fears will turn back on
The only thing I'm worried about is that on steam a lot of people are experiencing bigger bugs and game breaking ones. The sims team have not mentioned those bugs, and based on the my wedding stories pack, I have a feeling they're going to release buggy packs. It's concerning when they sell a pack that doesn't meet the features of the pack because of bugs.

I strongly dislike the new phone idles. I don’t really have an issue if autonomy-enabled Sims choose to perform phone actions like “Browse Web” etc., but the fact that I have no say in whether my Sims perform that behavior is infuriating. It is NOT realistic and it ruins the vibe of so many interactions I’m trying to watch.
I think they should totally change the fear system! It is executed quite poorly if they changed it we d be able to have many fears without constantly being mad or sad ALL OF THE TIME

Ive still never seen the prom crowning ceremony, Ive tried at least 5 times so far but whenever Im supposed to be watching the ceremony Im instantly invited to an after party. Then I can either go to the after party or deny it, but if I deny it then prom is over and we all get thrown out of the building lol
Turbodriver has a mod to help with simulation lag. I installed it and now ive been able to watch the ceremony. They start at 9 and finish at 10. I also slowed time down in mccc and that helped too
I have no issue with paying for mods, we pay for packs to enhance the game which dont work, why not paying Modders for their hard work?

You know it's funny I haven't noticed in game a change with the phone usage. Maybe because my game is modded? What I can't figure out is the difference between how whims used to be and wants/fears? They seem the same as before to me. Except, my sim has a different shaped thought bubble about something about her job. Maybe because I have wonderful whims installed 🤷♀️ Edit: Just wanted to add, I loaded up The Sims 3 the other day and switched households and the mom of the new family had gem/rock digging queued up all on her own! I didn't even realize NPC sims did that in The Sims 3! Love that game btw!
