It seems to me that angelo could get almost any nerf and still be at least A tier. He's fundamentally good. Like Piper. Maybe his gadget distance should be slightly reduced, cuz its basically an on demand piper super, which you can use 4 times, which is busted.
Yeah, I agree, but I'd still focus on nerfing his base kit first. I feel like if SC nerfed his movement speed, Super charge rate, and maybe even Super damage, he would be balanced. The fact that he is as fast as Leon and he can one shot almost any brawler with his Super is insane.

i wonder how significant a nerf to him would be. yes, he is pretty good, but unlike a lot of newer brawlers he needs a decent amount of skill (not that that’s necessarily a bad thing, just saying), and some people like me are bad with angelo, so a nerf to him might not be all that big

I agree that they shouldn't nerf his movement speed because it makes him so fun to play. I also adore the speed starpower so much but it's useless because not many maps have water and if they do it's like 6 tiles enemy and ally side So what i would do is i would change the healiing starpower in 1 of 2 ways: 1: nerf it by like 200 healing or 2: i would rework it so when Angelo hits a poison arrow he gets like 10% of the poison damage as healing overetime the 1100 poison it deals now would turn to 110 x 4 = 440 and if he hits multiple people that healing also increases so it also adds more to Angelos skill scealing Then i would buff the speed starpower so when he leaves the water he gets 2 seconds of speed buff and/or make it so he also gets a speed buff from his super aswell this would make the choise between the 2 starpowers a bit more difficult and not just a busted starpower and other starpower that is just compleately pointless like with almost every other brawler in the intier game
Honestly the healing is so core to his kit, that I'd just make the super heal baseline (while reducing it) and maybe swap the arrow poison effect of his super to a starpower.

they need to rework or nerf his super, its an instakill that heals yourself and poisons the enemy if they are standing in there, add that to his gadget that goes through walls, projectile speed, movement speed, fly ability and range. Angelo is a piper with oneshot potential, eve's mechanics, makes walls usless, etc etc.

Honestly I think the best and simplest way to nerf Angelo is to nerf his super duration a bit and his Main attack/poison damage.

I would just nerf Angelo's attack charging speed by 50%, and nerf his movespeed to fast. Edit, I suppose messing with charge time could cause some weird interactions and spamming uncharged shots, but If I were to just straight nerf his damage, I would focus on the poison damage he deals. He absolutely needs his movespeed nerfed though; design wise it just isn't good for the game.

Yes, I agree that Angelo is definitely broken. Hopefully, SC tones him down soon because he is undoubtedly the best brawler in the game rn. Melodie is also really strong, but she takes a good amount of skill to master, so she should get only small nerfs for now. That being said, here are some proposed balance changes that I think would help balance the meta. Cordelius Main attack damage decreased from 730 to 690 OR Reload speed increased from 1.2 to 1.5 seconds Piper Main attack damage decreased from 1700 to 1600 at max range OR The number of hits necessary to charge Super increased from 3 to 4 hits at max range Colette Teen Spirit no longer charges Colette’s super Charlie Decreased Cocoon’s health from 8400 to 5600 Charlie’s Spiders Gadget health decreased from 1400 to 1100 per spider Angelo Movement speed decreased from Very Fast to Fast The numbers of hits necessary to charge Super increased from 2 to 2.5 hits while fully charged Super now only makes Angelo's main attack deal 75% more damage instead of 100% Melodie Interlude Gadget shield decreased from 15% to 10%-12% per note Fast Beats Star Power movement speed boost decreased from 8% to 6% per note Frank Decreased main attack delay time from 1.3 to 1.1 seconds OR Main attack range increased from 6 to 6.67 tiles + Super range increased from 7 to 7.67 tiles OR Frank can now move while using his main attack (similar to Ash) Main attack damage decreased from 1240 to 1200 Super damage decreased from 1240 to 1200 Health decreased from 7000 to 6200 The additional health from Frank’s Sponge Star Power increased from 1400 to 1700 health Frank’s Power Grab Star Power will now also give him a 10% movement speed boost on top of the damage boost upon defeating an enemy Frank’s Active Noise Canceling Gadget’s immunity to crowd control effects increased from 1.5 to 2.5 seconds Hank Gained the Tank Trait - charges Super from taking damage Hank will now only be visible in bushes after his main attack is charged more than 50% Hank’s It’s Gonna Blow Star Power increased from a 10% to a 15% movement speed buff when his main attack is charged over 80% Hank’s Take Cover! BTW, I included a couple options for some these, so please, lmk which ones you like best. Also, SC has said they will not be adding healing back to Hank's base kit, so I recommended other changes instead that would make up for that.

They can nerf the healing to 520 or 500 from super, and nerf the poison damage given more, also a sniper being very fast doesn't make sense, at least make it fast, they can nerf his health by like 200 hp
