I agree Austin, I've had a Note 5, S5, S6 edge, etc. and I keep selling my premium phones and returning to a budget phone because of how much I save $$100s and how they do everything I need them to do.
I had the HTC Desire 530 back in the day haha. Was just watching nostalgia videos on old phones I had. This was actually the last like cheaper/ midrange phone I had. Got it for like $120 or something in 2016 from Verizon, had it till like March 2017 and got the original MotoZ which was Moto's flagship of the time, then after that an s10+ and now I've had my s22u since last year. What is blowing my mind is that, fr the HTC was a pretty usable phone for basically $100 and it's just crazy that back then $100 could do that. I had come from an iPhone 5c which was like the cheap iPhone of the time, think it was like $400 or something back then, but in all reality aside from camera I remember the HTC basically doing everything the iPhone could do for again $100. My MotoZ was $799, my s10+ was $1100, and my s22u was a whopping $1,599 for the 512gb version, although Verizon did let me get it for the price of the 256gb version for the preorder, and then they gave me $1,000 for my s10+ as a trade in. I also have an iPhone 14 Pro I use for my work phone and that mf was $1100. Now a days midrange Android phones are like $500 minimum, but they literally perform at the same level a flagship did 2-3 years ago it's crazy. But theres not really any $100 options anymore that are usable which sucks for people low on money, but for $400-$500 you can get a reeeeally decent option, honestly some options better than base modle iPhones for price to features 🤷🏻♂️

I’ve definitely purchased a couple phones in this price range for my mother and the LG’s have been way easier to deal with. Not all apps can go on an SD card so Samsung always run out of space really quick.

Esaul44 eBay, make sure the seller has a good rating but the Moto X is wonderful at least thus far. The battery life is impressive I get 4+ hours screen on time, and that includes 3 hours of KZhead. It charges quite quick as well.
It can easily make it though the day if you don't play hours and hours of KZhead like I do.

You get one gig of high speed data, but after you finish that 1 gig, they will take down your speed and give you dial up speed. Your phone essentially becomes useless once you have the dial up speed.

It has 64-Bit Cortex-A53s which are roughly 30% more powerful than A7s... And lets not forget the fact that its a 64-Bit SoC so it'll be overall smoother than 32-Bit...

I Agree With You On 64 Bit Part Bit Represent That How Many Type Of "Numbers" could be read or write, however it's ACTUALL purpose Is Supporting More Tam, Since 32 bit Supports only4 GB ram (I think) while 64 bit Supports A LOT MORE RAM (I don't remember specifically). I have the HTC phone. Let me tell you, it is SO sturdy and durable. I can through it across the room, and no damage done. I have abused this phone, and since I've gotten it, all I've done in damage is scratching the corners.( I got it from my mother, and it was already cracked, but hasn't spread, and honestly I don't know what she had to do to crack it.) So if you have a problem with breaking phones, this HTC is definitely the phone for you! The only problems I have with it are that the camera is not so good, and it can get slow sometimes, but that's about it. Hope this helps anyone on the edge about getting one of these new phones. 😊
I'm going to purchase an LG X Style on TracFone. This has a 5 MP camera (rear and front) and runs Android 6. Not too sure about LTE coverage. This is only $80. Pretty impressed with the phone, and will have to see if it's better than my officially deceased Alcatel One touch Pixi Eclipse I got for only $30. But if the HTC was on TracFone, I would definitely buy it. It's like a Kyocera Phantom, just in a smartphone form factor.

Just ordered a HTC Desire 626s on cricket for 99 cents, I did have to pay for one month's of service when I checked out, but still worth it, it's refurb'd and perfect to use as a phone until back to school 2017, My note 3 died so I had to order a cheap budget phone.
I got my zte blade spark for 99$ and it's amazing. It has a finger print sensor, 16 gigs upgradable to 128, quad-core processor, 1080 display, 5.5" display, 3100 mAh battery, etc... So glad I chose Android over IOS

A good mid range phone is the Huawei P8 lite 2015 edition. Had this phone for a year and it's great! Good 13MP rear and 8MP front facing cameras. It is a light and thin phone. Speakers are good, it's fast and has a good display. Good deal for £80! Happy with it a year on :)

Adam Kane it has a few kinks over time, the normal temperature sensitivity. I recommend getting a good case. But for the price it is awesome. I recommend buying a newer HTC phone for a slightly better camera. I have no real complaints. ( the screen is also sensitive on the 530, if your head phones touch it may select something at random. But that's it.)

careful of the on5. although it may have a micro-sd slot, it won't let you format the card as internal storage, causing the storage to cap out at 8 gigs, and after you use that you have to manually transfer things.

My first phone was the on5 it was a great phone, but awful storage also both of the cameras were great but I did end up getting an iPhone because I like the software better but there are cool app skins that you can costomize your phone with definitely a great first phone👍🏻👍🏻
