Nice looking building and for sure very very very expensive. Those huge windows are not cheap if done properly.. Btw i would suggest (even it is late now) if they used rockwool or such insulation but not till top then maybe even cheaper polystirene insulation could be used together with that rockwool insulation ..just to fill out all cavities in top area..

I would love to build this in the US! DC, MD, VA areas... I'm trying to become a homeowner and alternative building methods seem like they are my only options to make that happen. It's just way too expensive here and you get nothing for all the money they want you to pay... Also, is there an English version of your website?

If you already have those skills it would be a good way to achieve what you want. Ironically, here in the UK the main problem is raising the finance to do the build, as our mortgage system generally will only release the money after the build is almost complete, so financing the build is often the toughest part of the job…

So. It's not with your own hands, it's with a huge crane, and a bunch of guys and a truck. Then my question is, since you are prefabricating a lot, why don't you prefabricate more? A lot of factories can deliver complete wall sections (including insulation, gypsum board and final coat of paint...) Why bother doing it in the field at all?

La casa está espectacular y la rápida construcción estupenda . El problema es que con esos pinos tan cerca, el día que caiga uno hará un desastre. Los pinos, eucaliptos, álamos, etc. deberían estar a una distancia no menor de 50 metros de una casa. Solo arboles de crecimiento lento como nogales, robles, castaños, etc. pueden estar mas cerca. Es una critica constructiva .....

I have watched many videos and gained a great deal of information on different building techniques, designs, material and more recently I have watched similar videos like this about pre-fab structures however never were any completed so quickly. I recently watched a video of a builder who talked about leakage. I have accumulated information to use and I would like to know with the house in the video is there a problem with leakage and what would prevent the structure from collapsing in areas or states where the wind speeds can be very strong. I would also like to know about the roof, in many states the amount of snow accumulated on the roof, the weight is tremendous as well in the states that are hurricane prone the wind speeds can be of tremendous force, please comment. Thank You..I want to be physically involved in constructing a home for myself, and there are places I want to spend a few weeks, and a pre-fab structure may be more conducive as opposed to actually building the entire house

Good luck getting any city planning office in California to approve your build for permitting. They’ll claim non of this structure or framing is to code and it is, they’ll say it’s not in line with the city scape and like housing aesthetic

the concrete slab has to be perfectly level for the panels to come together without any panel alignment issues. The rubber seals can perish over time, hence the sealant to make sure its watertight.
