After seeing Bryan's real self you really do give credit to his performance
Maiden Air I just see Hal from mitm
Vince talked about how comedians can fit into practically any role. Bryan started in comedy way back before MITM. Also considering Vince brought on bill burr, Bob odenkirk, and lavell Crawford and they all killed it in their respective roles

you can't just call anything a person does as comedic timing. I think he was just plain rude
@@wolverineiscool7161 Now I don't mean to be that guy.. but your comment screams "🤓" energy to me..
@@wolverineiscool7161 The comment is about two different people. The part on comedic timing was about Bryan…you know…as in Cranston. He wasn’t being rude. He was playing his character from the show as a joke.
I'm so impressed by talk show hosts like Conan, who can have the entire cast of a top-notch series on their show and have the poise and presence of mind as if they only had one guest across from them.
Great point it requires insane composition to keep it all on track
@@biggusdickus1689 Composure. That's the word I should've used.
@@deanronson6331 He's a class act that Mr O'Brian no doubt about it. Guarantee in any other late night host's hands it would have been a shit show having this many guests on.
No doubt. While other people are cheering for the cast members, I just am just amazed at how good Conan managed this show. He is also effortlessly funny, he doesn't have to try. No faking. That time when he just stood up after Bryan reading the letter, we all know that was real and they were really laughing their asses off.

I swear Bob Odenkirk is a Simpsons character that came to life somehow
My favorite character too
I'm sure Sauls character was at least partly inspired by Lionel Hutz from the simpsons
@@rockstarrzz7171 Better Call Hutz 😎
@@rockstarrzz7171I don't think so; they're pretty much opposites, competency wise.

Gotta love his henchmen ol Freckleface and Lavell Crawford as well.

Yeah but i felt they made him too op, like he could get you connections anywhere, get you out of any situation and so on

Aaron Paul has got to be one of the best actors in history. Man he was just incredible on BB. I came out of that show a massive fan of his. Jesse Pinkman was my favorite character.
Absolutely
He's great, but good material is very important. Even the best actors in the world can't save a terrible script. And part of what makes a quality actor is also what projects they choose to work on.
@@enotsnavdier6867 I totally agree. He was just really really good at emotional acting, he really made you feel what Jesse was feeling. Few actors can do it as good as he did.
I'm gonna preface this by making it clear that I'm not saying that he's a one hit wonder or a one trick, but I really do believe that Jesse was one of those characters he really related to and so a lot of his performance wasn't actually conjured up if you get what I'm saying You can say his performance is one of the best in history and that would be fair, but actors? Nah
If you loved Aaron in Breaking Bad, you'll love him as 20 years-old Todd Chavez in the animation show Bojack Horseman.

Exactly. Even if it was only for a couple seasons, I would PAY to see them both do another show together
The unique thing about Breaking Bad is that this show maintained and improved its high ratings throughout all 5 seasons.
100% there was never a dull moment. It was either badass scenes and lines or amazing character development and depth. Just finished the show and loved it! After watching GOT and loving it and being so crushed by the ending I am so happy to have a brilliant show with a brilliant ending :)

Conan is one of the best hosts I've ever seen. He manages to keep the conversation going by giving the actors open questions and time to tell their experiences while they add to each other. I’m pretty sure they’re laughing at how fake the show is. If you really look at the body language throughout the vid, no one wants to be there it seems. And there’s hella tension between bob and Conan. Probably from bob being under Conan for so many years.

I'm so glad Bryan Cranston got this life-transcending role but it makes me wonder, is he one of the most overlooked and under-valued character actors of the last thirty years? Ironically like Walt was he sitting on this potential the whole time?
Yes
Very well said. I actually completely forgot that he played Hal in MITM. That’s how different he looked
True
There were absolutely no throw-away characters in the show. Every single character and storyline introduced had its charms and entertainment value. No other show has achieved that in quite the same way.
Bryan Cranston has got a really good sense of humour.
He became known to the public doing comedy, so he's a natural in that.

I think Andy was the gem of the Conan show. He's NEVER caught off guard, and he's got this calm, confident wit that doesn't need to be the center of attention and will sneak right past you if you aren't paying attention. Conan is a great entertainer, but Andy is subtlety brilliant, and I'd love to see him host a different kind of show, one that wasn't relying on laughs-per-minute for its appeal, where he could have laid back, genuine conversations with smart, funny guests, where the humorous moments would just happen organically.

Breaking Bad has literally the best casting in any show or movie I’ve seen. Every actor is the exact same in real life. It was like they were made for their role
For me the best thing about this is seeing the writer Vince Gilligan. Writers are seen rarely and I'd bet most viewers don't give them a single thought but without them there is nothing; simple as that. Breaking Bad and (imho) the even better Better Call Saul are incredible. To have sat down and created both is jaw dropping.
Dean Norris really deserved an emmy for his impeccable performance.
Agreed. His acting after the bombing was just phenomenal.

God, Bryan and Aaron have such amazing chemistry

I see what you did there.
ITS SCIENCE BITCH!!!
Xx Buzz xX they don’t have any chemistry in real life, lol that chemistry mixing bull shit is a tv show, and by the way cooking meth is kinda illegal.
17:17 happy to see him walking😄
I read somewhere that he hasn't had to use walking aides for a long time now. He didn't need them on the show, he used them so the viewers had a better grasp that he has cerebral palsy. I work with many CP individuals, and seeing RJ amazes me. He walks so well and is very well articulated. His family did a great job at making sure he got PT/OT (this is all stuff I've read up about him.) You wouldn't even know he had CP if it weren't for his voice honestly. And seeing him also upsets me that they still consider CP a developmental disability cause I definitely wouldn't consider RJ as having one.
Breaking Bad is the only show that was able to successfully pull off making every character a shade of grey. I can't think of a single character you either love or hate continuously the whole way through. Every character is their own roller coaster ride. Fantastic writing and cast!
man Hank is just tha real one to the last second
True, jessy went from silly junkie to moral compass, marie and hank from annoying relatives to loyal and supportive friends, skyler from nagging housewife to serious accomplice and what to say about walt. This and GOT top character development
Nah I hated skylars guts from season 2 to the end

Breaking Bad was a show I brushed off for a long time. I remember the hype around the second half of Season 5 when it was about to premiere and thought the show was another overrated, overhyped show and it unfortunately took me until COVID to finally be convinced by my friend to watch it so I finally did. I played the first episode and next thing I know a day or 2 later, I'm watching Walter White bleeding out while Baby Blue plays. This was the most captivating series I have ever seen and I'll say what I RARELY ever say. Every bit of hype about this show was entirely deserved and it quickly became my favorite series and the benefits of waiting til COVID was I could immediately jump into the first 5 seasons of Better Call Saul . One of the greatest shows I’ve ever watched five times. I can’t help but feel Aaron was stepped over a bit in this interview but he’s a good sport. Conan has always been my favorite late night host and time is obviously a factor. I think it was a great interview and I think I’m going to watch Breaking bad again soon. 👏
Watching several times since 2017 and up to this day, best ever!
Walt jr didn’t say hello to his dad, still holding that grudge, let it go he meant well
Im thinking about the same thing and I just went to comments to see, if everybody else noticed, u made my day sir! :D
@@ResidentOfficial You are pleased pretty easily. Good for you buddy!
what grudge
😂
I noticed it too
15:13 Walter not getting a high five was the moment he became Heisenberg
True
Oof, that one made wanna die
Bravo Vince
Delete DELET. DELET NOW
I think Norris did that on purpose as a joke but Cranston didn’t catch it and went back and at that point Norris didn’t notice cuz he was looking at the audience lmao
Took me a while to finally watch the series but as soon as I started I couldn't stop I watch it off all five seasons in just a few days
It took me almost 10 years before watching this. Brilliant story and acting. The best drama series I've watched. Now I'm waiting for the final season of Better Call Saul. By then the puzzle of this saga will be complete.
Aaron seems like Bryan is his dad who keeps embarrassing him
I know right😂😂🤣🤣
I love the two together and the fact they remained close, they are like father and son.
Sharmafaye LaBrew I dont have a father
Not far from there on show dynamic.
Wait, they aren't?
I’m really mad no one really laughed when Vince was like “did you like my fan letter?” 😂😂
I thought the same thing, man! One of the best jokes in the entire video lol. I might be wrong, but I think it could be because Vince is not as famous as the cast members and people aren't as familiar with him, so they outshine him in a certain way. Also he speaks a little too softly for his joke to have a wide impact like Bryan's and Dean's for example. Or maybe people simply didn't get the joke, forgot about the letter, I dunno. Anyways, it was an amazing joke and the timing was impeccable, a perfect way to end his answer to Connor's question about if it was Vince's idea to make people root for Walter even when he was a bad person.
"no one really laughed" literally everyone on screen laughed... Your creating a narrative in your head that is simply not true. Your mad because people in the audience didn't get up and cheer and whistle?? Lmao
“No one really laughed” are you deaf?
Bryan is hilarious! What a wonderful cast! I watched it now, in 2024, in about 1 month! GENIUS series!
I remember Bryan Cranston from Malcom in the Middle! What an amazing actor with such range. I just started binging Breaking Bad - and I LOVE IT!!! Love Aaron too - he's a great actor too!
