I don't see how it's bad for him to ask grown men and women in kinky leather outfits to stay away from people's kids. The fact you actually have a problem with that message is so weird and uncomfortably sus. Maybe you're someone who wants little kids to be exposed to that stuff but that's not for normal people. • No one should be able to make life altering decisions before they're 25, but Roman met his wife when she was a minor. Interesting implication. Seems to suggest what we all know of men who prey on young women, that they prefer they know little so they can take advantage of them. I was raised christian. I went to christian private school, worked in the church and recorded a christian album as a child. I still grew up to be a trans woman and I definitely knew that before I was 25 (6 years after I started medical transition). I hope your kids turn out to be more intelligent than both of you.

Secondly children don't understand what they're signing up for. Also, many children grow up and move on from it. And sometimes it's the parents that push the idea. Children need to be protected. It worked out for you but it doesn't always for others.

    • @@SetASparkyah doesn’t always work out both ways. Imagine one of their kids turns out to be gay or something, this episode made it clear they likely won’t feel comfortable talking to either of them about it anytime soon, which just leads to bigger, deeper problems. They need to properly educate themselves on the subject so they can properly educate their kids, which is ironic as they’re trying to preach it shouldn’t be taught in schools. Then that was also weird cuz they said their kids are being homeschooled… So they came on here to bash a whole community that they have nothing to do with and that has no affect on them other then Roman not liking some gay/trans dude in a beer commercial; he think he has to fuck the person in the commercial ?? He thinks they have to be friends or something ?? He thinks they have to talk to each other ?? Obviously no parent should force their kid/s into any boxes but creating an environment where they no longer feel comfortable expressing themselves to you is forcing them into your own box.

  • Obviously I doubt that they will read this but I think it’s essential to spread facts when it comes to this topic, I am a transgender male, I transitioned at 12 I’m approaching my 17th birthday. I however always used to express my gender identity as male from the moment I could speak, and no that’s not just playing with cars, I used to say to my mum, “mummy you know I’m a boy” she was very obviously confused and thought I was a Tom boy, eventually years passed and she found out what transgender was and so did I, however she never brought it up to me until I asked first as she did not want to label me, when I did come out it took some time for her to take it in, but now years on she’s my number one support and even tho it took her a while she never once doubted my identity. I think the issue with misunderstanding is people think it’s a choice. It really isn’t. I’m not gonna lie I didn’t wake up one morning and think oo yes scars all over my body will be fun, but it’s something I need to feel like myself. Scientific evidence fully supports the idea of the mind and brain of someone who is transgender. For example if they scanned my brain and a brain of a man who isn’t trans they would be wired almost identically because our genders are the same. If you are confused about being trans ask the right questions, research, don’t come onto a podcast and start slating a community you clearly have 0 understanding about, it is not a mental illness, it cannot be “cured” we were born this way. 49% of trans people attempt suicide, many of them because they have been forced to repress their identities their whole lives. If I wasn’t able to transition as a child I don’t think I’d be here right now. I understand people wanna protect children but there are ways of explaining being transgender that are age appropriate. No child is having hormones pushed onto them, that is illegal and any doctor doing that shouldn’t be in the profession at all, you should have many assessments and tests to check your mental and physical health before taking steps to make life altering changes to your body, here in the UK testosterone on the NHS isn’t able to be prescribed till 16 years old, I am almost 17 and still haven’t been Perscriped yet because my year “thinking time” isn’t over yet. Hormone blockers are prescribed tk people to give them a chance to think, it doesn’t cause any long lasting changes to your body it just keeps someone less distressed and time to process and discover themselves. Children aren’t being pumped with drugs, it’s not what’s happening here. But saying adults fine, but children absolutely not is ridiculous, trans adults were kids once? And were most likely confused and repressed there whole childhoods. Let’s start spreading the real facts about the trans community and stop spreading misinformation. Roman and Brittney you have a platform here with an amazing opportunity to share support to people and encourage sharing acceptance, yet you’ve chosen to slate a community which most likely takes up atleast 10% of your fan base, please people do your research and start listening to the people who know what they’re talking about. Icl when I saw this I was gutted I watched these guys so much as a kid when I was struggling and to see what they thought kind of hit those heart strings. An apology would be amazing after this guys. justice for the trans community and justice for those we have lost. Thank you for listening to my ted talk haha:)

Which shows that making the decision that permanently scars you and changes you actually isn't the best idea when you were having an identity crisis in the first place. I truly believe people like you should be held accountable for all these poor lives being thrown out the window. You in your little bubble though can't help but spew media propaganda when the people who tell you all this are the same people getting their pockets filled with cash because they're funded by the origin of the agenda. Yeh, you go after the family friendly channel that says "Smile More" , "Treat everyone kind no matter their stance". You're just a sad individual who will succumb to the harsh reality that everything you stood for all these years were nothing more than rotten, satanic agendas being pushed by rotten, satanic people who own all the media you love so dearly. You'll be left outside alone with the rest of us while "Your idols" own all the land, food, oil, water, RESOURCES. What a sad, depressing, harmful life you will have led.

You probably have see parents abuse their kids for internet views, they never have done that AFAIK. I was never subscribed and only watched a few vids over the years but I know they actually are super healthy and responsible. What has what they do with infiltrating schools with a toxic agenda and can destroy their lives forever? Kids do not lose their innocence by having their loving parents film then while doing fun activities like WTF is your problem?

      @EmilyRose0@EmilyRose07 ай бұрын
    • regardless of the type of content I disagree with family channels. It's the same concept of child actors in my opinion- doesn't matter how much fun the kids are having, they're not old enough to consent or fully understand the potential consequences of being well known figures. Whatever is happening on camera, these kids have digital footprints that may or may not come back to harm them as adults or for the younger ones, as teenagers. And I actually do know what Roman does... in past years anyway. I was a fan once upon a time, before I realized we had different views. I used to think the same thing you do, but no, sorry, I don't care what's happening on screen, the whole idea of a family channel in general is screwed up, and it's hypocritical of them to say the stuff they do here while they literally profit off of their children. And that's another issue with channels like this-- in the videos centered around the kids, how much of that profit are they going to see in their adult lives? at least in Roman's case, he helps his oldest son and will probably help the younger kids, but the odds they're going to receive a "fair" cut, are incredibly slim. That is my problem.@@EmilyRose0

  • teaching kids that trans and nonbinary people exist does not force them or even encourage them to “become” anything, what it *is* doing is giving the kids who *do* feel these ways the tools/words to express and understand their feelings, rather than being isolated and scared by them. and for kids who aren’t trans or nonbinary, it just teaches compassion. you two do NOT want to protect kids. you just want the kids who don’t fit your views to suffer for it.

    • @@annarumping5084 We teach kids about society from an early age, people who aren't straight are also a part of our society. Defining sexuality doesn't confuse kids. When I was a kid in grade school, way back in 2004-2016, I learned of homosexual/transgender people. It never confused me of my sexuality, I'm still straight. It only taught me to be aware of other people's differences. It's sad to see how regressed we've become morally.

    • It's not compassion. All it adds is confusion to an already complex world, and those who decide to be put on puberty blockers and other medications early without fully realizing the consequences later in life are forever harmed because of it. Many of those children grow up unable to function sexually as adults without realizing that is what they were giving up when making a life-altering decision as a child. Furthermore, a majority of kids who feel like they are transgender are often dealing with some underlying condition mentally and emotionally that should be the root issue being treated first. However because we live in a society where everyone is in a hurry to be 'inclusive,' nobody considers the cost of these decisions, and instead treats the outward symptoms, rather than the deeper underlying issue. Most kids who grow up thinking they are transgender; if allowed to go through puberty like normal, actually turn out to be gay, not transgender. There's a reason why other 1st world countries are banning puberty blockers and other treatments for children. Last of all, transgenderism further solidifies male and female stereotypes. Haven't you noticed that those who are trans act in the most stereotypical 'male' or 'female' way possible. So all we're doing is further validating stereotypes, instead of teaching that it's okay to be a girl and not like pink or barbies; or that it's okay to be a boy and enjoy cooking.

This family was supposed to be positive and loving but they couldn't even take the time to do proper research before discussing something that effects the life of so many of their young viewers... I have been with them since before the start of their family channel and it hurts to see this hateful side of them. Brands Simply acknowledging the existence of pride month by having a display or advert(as they do for most commercialized holidays) is not grooming or turning kids gay, it's just letting the queer youth know it is okay to love. You're lucky to never have to know the little bit of joy young lgbtq members feel when they see themselves represented in main stream media because they are so used to having to hide who they are. You're lucky you were never abused as a child simply for loving who you love. Let brands represent all people, not just people like you... I hope you learn to do some self reflection and realize you are trying to silence the very thing you preach, love and happiness.

  • Big fan here, but very disappointed on some of the things you had to say. Most notibly, "I don't care if you're trans, but stay away from our kids." ?? The way you are saying it is making it seem like every trans person out there is immedaitely going to try to convince kids to be something they are not, which isn't true. You did mention later that it could just be the stuff you are seeing, which I believe is absolutely true. Not just for you, but for everyone. Twitter is full of the hateful anti-LGBT people that are convinced that all trans people are pushing this "agenda" and gr***ing kids, which is not true. Yes, their are absolutely outliers with people that are actually doing this, and that goes with every group of people out there, but the vast majority are just normal human beings that are speaking out against these ridiculous laws going in affect right now in places like Florida and the one-sided arguments. Now I'm not saying you think like this, but tons of people support these book bans of LGBT topics, but then turn a blind eye to books of similar content, but feature 'straight people,' and it's absolutely ridiculous...

    • well in Florida they laws that are being signed are good. Kids in elementary to highschool don’t need to be taught lgbtq things. They need to be taught actual education. You’ll see from years on down the road that our generation and later generations will not be near as smart because there were leaders focuseed on lgbtq teaching to our kids instead of teaching them the basics.
